It was cheap, very conveniently placed, and the staff was friendly. It's a 2 minute walk to the MTR station and there's all sorts of food and sights to see in the immediate area. The facilities themselves left something to be desired. The wifi didn't work at night so I rented a wifi hotspot which didn't hold a charge very well and also didn't connect half the time, my locker in my room was broken (I reminded them twice and it still never got fixed so my valuables just stayed in my backpack the entire week), they have a ton of washers and dryers for the employees to use but only one for the guests. The guest washer and dryer is outside on a balcony, it's way over priced, and the elevator isn't easily accessible from the balcony.
I enjoyed the great service that was provided to me. Upon arrival we were greeted with an easy check-in and were walked directly to our rooms. We were also able to borrow a adapter for the outlets. Our rooms were cleaned daily and water, a microwave, and hot water dispenser were provided in the hallway. Towels, cups, toothbrushes, and soap were provided. There was also a fridge and safe. Room also had hot water for the bathroom and air conditioning! On our last day we were also able to leave our bags in the office. The staff gave us tips on places to visit and transportation as well. This is a great place to stay if you aren't looking for somewhere luxurious. We visited Hong Kong to sightsee, shop, and eat; not stay in our rooms. The location was also perfect. We were walking distance to the ferry, restaurants, train stations, and several shopping malls. Please do your research and view picture of the hallways before booking! Personally I did not mind the dirty and strange hallways because I pretty much only stayed in my room to sleep and preferred to spend my money on tours, shopping, and dim sum. The elevators were always crowded and slow but not much can be done to fix this because there are hundreds of people staying in the building. One of our rooms was a double room and we assumed it would be two beds but instead it was one double bed. Luckily we are good friends so it didn't really matter and we didn't even try to change that or complain. Just make sure you know exactly what you are booking!
