Location! Convenient to shops, parking, roads & highways/expressways, & (most especially for my purposes) right across the street from the NJ Transit train station. (I ride the ACS Bike-a-thon every year that I can. Now that the Bike-a-thon is back to ending in AC, I drive down with family ahead of the event, stay & park at the Sheraton, take the train back to Phil. the night before, then bike back to AC with the ACS. Meanwhile the family has a full-feature shore weekend - without disruption from my participation in the Bike-a-thon. A win-win!) Usually nothing: You get what you pay for & usually that's roomier, quieter, cleaner & more comfortable than a lot of hotels & motels in AC. Since the Sheraton does not have direct beach access or a casino, the price is usually less expensive - even for a June weekend. This year however, competition from an ANIME" convention (who knew), appears to have driven the cost up a bit. Still, cost/value ratio wasn't too bad, & the ANIME" attendees were entertaining - sort of like a colorful carnival in the lobby.
All the staff were very nice and accommodating. Very nice room, spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was average but nice. Bed was comfortable but pillows very flat. Overall great experience and very close to Tangier outlet. Had a great time. Would definitely stay here again Pillows
Great staff and the prefect location
Very outstanding valet..its allway good to see them
History of miss America displayed in lobby, and prints of previous winners. Also complimentary Starbucks coffee was nice. The staff was very friendly too! It was a hike to the beach & Boardwalk !
The hotel was conveniently located to the Atlantic City beachfront and it did allow us to bring our dog on vacation. That was the main selling point for our choosing this hotel. However, if one of the other hotels offered pet facilities we would have chosen them. The thin walls in the facility lent itself to being a noisy stay when the other guests partied late. The management was unresponsive to noise complaints, despite their posted policy about "quiet hours." Security was not what it could have been either. Vagrants could be found loitering around the front of the hotel without visible security to keep them at bay. The room itself had comfortable, if small beds, yet lacks a in-room refrigerator or microwave. The selection of channels on television was disappointing and was a clearly intended to get us to purchase a premium package.
I have stayed in a lot of different hotels and I have to say that the staff that waited on my husband and I where absolutely PHENOMENAL! From the minute we got to the parking garage to the minute we pack up our car they were nothing but courteous and friendly. Especially the concierge woman Chrissy that I dealt with upon arrival. I think she could tell that we had already had a long day and she just absolutely took care of us with any questions that I had. She always had a smile on her face and she was very easy to talk to to and did not make me feel like I was a burden when staying there. She would be a main reason as to why we would stay at the Sheraton in AC again. Thank you!
Perfect location for shopping, casinos, beach and restaurants! There wasn't a refrigerator and microwave in all the rooms. But we made do with our cooler.
I liked that my request for being on a high floor was meant & the view was great. Both check in/check out process were great, staff is very friendly. I liked the valet parking which is good for 24hrs in or out, very accomadating. After check out I was able to leave my car and do some shopping. I was close to the elevators, so there was a lot of foot traffic/noise. I could have asked to switch rooms but I was already settled in and it was only a 1 night stay.
Everything was great! Nothing, except I wish it was closer to the boardwalk for our purposes.
The room was a nice size, clean, comfortable. I liked that the jitney was right across the street, the reason for my stay was that I had something going on at the Golden Nugget. I left the next day so I didn't spend a lot of time in the room, but I will definitely stay there again next time I come to AC.
Not bathroom fan, and toilet noises
in the middle of all casino and near 7 eleven what ever i needed it was right there
Clean, comfortable room. Close to boardwalk and casino'S. Walking distance to outlets, also.
Staff were helpful, free internet, free breakfast Not such a good location
Enjoyed the daily breakfast they offered - nice selection to choose from. The location is awful!! The room attendant assigned to our room did not replace shampoo or soaps - the bathroom seemed to not be cleaned rather it was tidy-upped.
The continential breakfast was fantastic. Service was nice, people were friendly. I booked a non-smoking with double beds. They first gave me a non-smoking with a king. Then I had to settle for a smoking (gave me a can of air freshner) room with double beds. Each morning the room had the odor of living over a septic tank or pool. Very bad odor.
good location/value for the price. Breakfast buffet is ok. 5-10 minutes walk from the main city attractions and beach. 10 minutes walk from the main greyhound bus terminal
Although not fancy the facility was well maintained and the rooms clean and functional. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Would return. Nothing
we went to the casinos that were very very close to the Best Western the beds were a little hard but we dealt with it
Very surprised at how nice, new and clean the room and bath were. Parking, location, lobby were not good. The breakfast area, was to small and hot.
The shopping in the outlet stores The price
We liked the location to the boardwalk and the drive to the other three casinos was easy.
There was mold in the shower. The front desk was unable to assist us in printing tickets for the beer festival, which was the rest for our stay. Was hugely dossapinted in the lack of progressionalism regarding no help with ticket printing... Overall cleanness was mediocre.
The pool after dark was very nice. Did not expect it to be so big. Nice hotel. I think if your a guest at the hotel you should get in to the pool after dark for free. Absolutely not enough towels took a hr to find 3 towels. I checked the hrs of the club online it stated 24 hrs on sat, we got kicked out at 4A.M. Concidering we had to pay for each person cant find towels we litterally jumped in and 10 min later got kicked out. As for the room i asked for the highest room posibble and i got the 4th floor. not happy at all about that! I asked for smoking it was non smoking. the bed sheets had stains on them.
They have an indoor pool but very limited seating available unless you want to pay for it. We were at the pool by 10AM and there were no chairs available. For a resort that size, who charges a resort fee, the pool should be more accommodating.
They upgraded our room when we arrived. Although we were upgraded, when we entered the room there was an AWFUL smell. It smelled like the guests before us must've thrown up on the carpet and the smell was still lingering. We called maintenance twice and the first time they told us there was nothing they could do and the second they sprayed some air freshener and left. The smell was so unbearable that we had to avoid being in the room as much as possible. Upon checkout, they told us that they couldn't do anything since the room was already paid for ahead of time and because it was an upgrade. I would've rather not have been upgraded if I wouldn't have had to deal with this terrible odor and am unhappy that I spent $400 on a room that I couldn't even enjoy.
Upgraded rooms are the way to go
Staff was fantastic both in friendliness and how accompanying they were towards guests. Very comfortable bed. Their regular rate was about the same as Borgata, which is infinitely superior. Room had a weird smell. Bathroom toilet was so low that I could barely use it, and the tub had cigarette burns everywhere.
Buffet Cost and room was not totally clean. Toilet not real clean and beer bottle was left in the room.
the rooms are spacious the staff are friendly. The buffet was awesome if you like crab legs mmmmmmm would go again. The only thing not expected was all the charges. Everything cost something (valet and pool accesss) and mold in the shower.
Small old room.
After waiting on a long line to check in. We carried our luggage up to our room, unpacked and found a cigarette still in one of the ashtrays. I then checked the bedding and it looked dirty and slept on. Then I went into the bathroom and there were stains on the floor. I called the front desk and they said they would come change the sheets. After I got off the phone we found another guest's luggage by the front door. We were two young girls staying in the room. The luggage had the name of a man on it. The hotel gave us a room that someone else was staying in. We were frightened that this guest would come back to the room while we were still in there. We quickly packed our things and lugged them back down to the front desk. They gave us another room but that was not enough for all the trouble we had gone through
1. The bed in the room are so bad, making noise and the mattress cauze a back pain. 2. Staff are not helpful and they just ignore you 3. There is nothing for the children to do even the pool they can't use and after all this they charge you resort fee. The hotel quality doesn't worth the money I paid. The parking are so expensive. More than NYC I would not stay in this hotel again
The pool is free for guess. Pool party not free for guess
I like AC very much but I normally stay away from the motels by the boardwalk, and now I know why. Good: a block away from the boardwalk; rooms are excellent; corteous staff. Bad: is the off season but they still charged $10 for a second car and $20 for an additional guest. Exteriors are in need of a hose down and the area is very sketchy, didn't felt safe. The value quotient went out the window and we are not staying here again.
The bathroom had granite countertop The room was crawling with roaches; did not sleep at all; totally freaked out. Management and staff gave no apologies or concessions and accused me of bringing the roaches in from the outside. They claimed they never had roaches in the property, yet they refused to go back to the room with me so that I could show them the roaches. They offered no discounts, refunds or apology! The place should be shut down and the staff fired.
Good location for the price. Clean and air conditioning worked great Cleaning ladies were loud. Wish parking was free
The price, freebreakfast and close to beach and Boardwalk. Room smelled bad, musty/moldy.
Proximity to the beach and boardwark was great. A great value for the location and the staff was friendly. The floor in our room was damp in some places.
Overall great location, block away from the board walk and ocean perfect! Great price, grocery store and liquor store across the streets 24 hour bonus!!!! Plus shuttle bus on main street. Great walking distance to every and anything. Will be returning,. Fuzzy cable
The price was great considering the other hotels nearby. About 1/3 of the price of the Tropicana 2 blocks away. Read reviews about $10 for parking but it was never mentioned to me. Haven't noticed a charge yet so I'll wait and see if that holds true. I think our bathroom fan was broken since it never came on when we turned the bathroom light on. Also, there aren't any normal size pillows? Just small square ones? Yet still using regular pillow cases tucked in to hide the extra case...you probably get what you pay for.
Price: $65 on a Saturday night. Rooms where clean, and service was fine. Typical motel noise.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. Very friendly and clean rooms, not to mention a great price. I will be back!
Breakfast was good, staff excellent, the bed and pillows were awesome The pullout sofa was very old as were the rusted lamps and chipped table, it was enough to make me not want to stay there again.
Reasonablly priced and very clean Street level Chealsey Ave side a bit noisy due to traffic.
I loved the room.It was nice and clean. We had a king size bed that was comfortable and we loved the pillows. It was snowing and freezing when we got there, they has the room nice and toasted. No microwave
Extra pillows. Changed my room without a problem. Staff were kind. Room was spacious and what we needed. Double charged for parking. First room was smoke smelling, phone didn't work, and NOT a "quiet room" (right next to elevator is quiet room??). 2nd room was better. Wifi was extra charge but was told would be free. Very expensive
Half of the bathroom lights didn't work, including those above the toilet and shower.
Great location for the beach and the convention center. Lots of nice restaurants, although with the downturn in AC, they are not frequently open. Atlantic City is a morgue. The hotel is really long in the tooth. I had an electrical outlet falling out of the wall in the bathroom. Paint was peeling from the ceiling in the shower. There was a round table but no desk. For a convention city, I would expect a desk.
The people were great, the staff friendly and helpful Great value Dirty and disorganized - changed room 3 times in 3 days for reasons unknown
No surprises, no problems. Comfortable and close to everything: the boardwalk and other casinos. It could get a little newer but I'm not complaining.
Check-In person was terrific. She was so apologetic when our room was no ready yet and she had to spend some time working things out, finally moving us up to a suite ;-) Speaks well to their customer focus! All was great!
Food was great. It was fun and mistly clean. Room service menu was very limited. Had to call 3 times for room service and was told i couldnt irder off normal menu had to use limited menu because casino was cutting back.
The water pressure in the shower. First off they overcharged me. I paid for my room in full here on Kayak and then they hit me for more fees (RESORT FEES) on check out. Secondly the place is just the biggest dump. Stuck in the 70's. I wanted to barf.
Good value. Very nice room. Free parking was a plus. I've never liked resort fees. Confused about WiFi rules/possible charges so didn't use.
I liked the service when I checked in. They provided a cot for my room to accomadate me and my family. I didn't like that there is a $5 charge per person for the pool. If I'm a guest it should be included with the stay. I moved the table and there was crumbs left from God knows when. They should clean better. The rooms need to be updated. The elevator was also annoying putting the key in to get to your floor.
Hotel was clean Non-smoking room that smelled of cigarette, staff could of been a bit more friendlier
Guy Fieri's restaurant was awesome. Amazing food and staff there. Request a table with a view at restaurant it's a great view. Our Room had a beautiful ocean view as well. Check in is horrible. 45 mins on line on a Saturday. We complained and were told it's like that every weekend. Almost missed our dinner reservation because of it. Stressful way to start. The whole lobby and casino smells horribly of cigarette smoke. There is terrible separation of non smoking and smoking sections. This really was a bad issue. Rooms not bad but not great. If you get a really good price it's ok but we spent almost $400 a night and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THAT. Go to Borgata for that price instead. Lesson learned for us.
Staff was friendly and helpful. I asked for a room about noon and they got me into one right away. The room needed a refresh. The grout on tile in bathroom was bad. I lifted the toilet seat and immediately was greeted with a pubic hair. The little bit of comforter belt (fashion only, bot an actual comforter), and decorative pillows were dirty and stained. I suspect they are not often washed. The bedside lamps were sagging, their mounts were poor.
The Modern look of the rooms. House keeping could have done a better job of dusting and removing left over hairs in the bathroom by pass guests.
Staff was rude. Never again!
The Jitney service is the only reliable thing left in Atlantic City. Golden Nugget still advertises having a heated outdoor swimming pool & hot tubs that are open year-round when in fact it has been closed down for the season. I ran into many groups of people that also booked rooms at the Golden Nugget expecting to use the advertised facilities only to be told after arrival that the pool deck has been shutdown. Shame on Golden Nugget for false advertising and misleading paying customers! Avoid this shady "resort" casino and stay elsewhere.
The hotel cancelled my reservation before I got there even though they assured me it would be there. And then wouldn't give my money back.
Easy check in. Hotel was dirty! Our room smelled like someone smoked pot in it. The heater was very noisy made a loud clunk when it went on and off. It was worth maybe $100.00 a night not what they charge!! On the bright side it was the only hotel I read about that didnt have bed bugs, I looked it didnt. We wont be back
Modern, updated and nice view. Able to hear next door man and women arguing for about hour. Also hear taking morning shower and hallway traffic. (we have been in 3 other hotels this past week for comparison)
The Deck The room view Gym/Spa H2O Pool/Bar Could hear next room TV Pay for exercise room? (I understand paying for spa) Room could use some type of pull out table for eating Entire stay everyone was very polite except the valet lady running the parking.
I loved everything especially the pool
Nice room. Hot tubs could have been hotter.
The Hotel was very clean and spacious Did not like the casino security staff they was very disrespectful and I felt a lil racism, it was my fist time visiting Atlantic city and I would never stay there again
I liked the room. I liked the casino. Elevators are nice. Bathrooms too. I liked the ocean view from my room. I don't like the Parkin garage. N checking area is confusing. Not a lot of food options in the casino but not bad.
Beds were ok The bathroom was outdated. Bathroom floor blue tiles and shower curtain were dirty. Carpet floor looked dirty. 2 dusty closets I WAS DISAPPOINTED
I liked that we can go outside right to the beach and rides . I liked the security guard checking everyone's room keys before you can get to the elevator. The staff is very polite. The bathroom is very spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable too. Check in is late. We requested an early check in because our daughter needs to nap after going on the beach and before our 6:oo dinner reservation . Also a sign that there is a food court would be good to put in the lobby. Did not realize it was there.
Todo estaba nuevo y limpio Las almohadas para dormir estaban muy duras
Beachfront access, on the boardwalk, good parking, excellent staff. Old, worn-down rooms and bathrooms. Bath instead of shower. More expensive than the one next door (Taj) which is a much nicer room, floor-to-ceiling windows, modern, updated and cheaper.
Nothing Was screwed out of the King size room in the ocean tower that I chose specifically to be near friends in that tower in a king bed. Was given a queen bed in the Rendevous tower, far from our friends. Our bed was only a queen. For $53 PLUS the $20 in taxes PLUS the $10 resort fee- I feel ripped off. Don't let people book rooms if the hotel doesn't have them available!
Located directly on the boardwalk and beach. Plenty of restaurants within a few mins walking. New bathrooms. Rooms were comfortable and were inexpensive. Ocean views from the room. Would definitely recommend. Really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect getaway for a few days for adults. I would not advise bringing children. Besides the beach and the pier, there isn't much for children to do. The room decor seemed a little dated, but that was the least of my worry. There was a mouse in our room (not that a mouse would hurt anything, we just didn't want it to get into our suitcases and food) and the front desk was more than willing to switch our rooms. Not that I was worried about it, but I figured there may have been a little compensation, but we can't control nature.
Close to everything we wanted to do Requested rooms together, they said it would be a problem...they did not keep that promise.
Restroom is not clean, reservation is not the right amount, noise all night
The room was spacious The entire hotel to include the non smoking floor smells like Cigarettes
Location , all activities , No promotions or comps that would make me stay here instead of another hotel
We booked 2 rms. for a wknd. party of 8. Had a great stay! The staff were pleasant and helpful everywhere we went. Live music at Margaritaville on Fri. night was awesome with good food and great drinks. The pool and pool bar Sat. afternoon was fun and friendly. There's so much to do in the area- we went parasailing, spent time on the beach and Boardwalk, and went to the beach bars and a couple of nearby casino clubs (we didn't sleep much!) Resorts was a great base for our weekend with plenty of space in the rooms for all of us and plenty of on site options for food, drinks and music.
The motel was very nice and clean. we liked the location that was steps away from the Tropicana. the front desk attendents were very curtious. We would definetly stay there again.
The frontdesk gave me the worst room.
Clean, convenient, close to beach, free continental breakfast. Prostitutes hanging around in the evening and at night.
Easy to book through the website. Check-in was simple. The hours for check-out were nice. Toilet kept getting clogged.
Location (immediately across the street from Tropicana) was perfect. Able to walk back and forth into the casino. continental breakfast- not much fruit or choices. Shitty coffee.... not that big of a deal though
It was right next to the casino
I liked the cheap price The bathroom was freezing...and parts of my room looked dilapidated...such as an old sink...broken bathroom window (which allowed freezing air to come into the bathroom).
This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. I have stayed at not-so-posh places before and I was OK with that, but the attitude of the front-desk staff (specifically a guy called Pragnash and another guy whose name I don't know) made this a much worse experience. One of the guys was checking a couple into one of the rooms. He was trying to figure out their room rates for them for two nights. He had to step out in between to move his car. So another guy continued their check in process and told them their total for two nights is $884 including tax. The couple was taking out their cash to pay them and a few seconds later the first guy returned. He asked the other staff "Did you tell them their rates?". The other guy said yes. He shook his head and said "It's OK" and told the couple the total is $915 and of course the couple started fighting. Eventually they ended up paying only $885 but it seemed like they will try to swindle if they can. The prices are not fixed and they'll try to negotiate with you to get the max. they can. We paid $400 for a night and there was no iron in our room, there was always a few guys shouting/fighting outside our room even in the middle of the night, and staff is extremely rude. Totally not worth it!
I liked the clear room, quite,I could cook in room.
The shower had no water pressure and there was no hot water
I love the room it was clean and comfortable
Location is great Hotel manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating. Hotel room was old unkept and dirty. For almost $400 a night that hotel room should've been pristine.
The comfort was second to none n cool decor. TV was terrible n nothing to do in that area except the Trop. Was never told in advance about security deposit.
the water pressure absolutely terrible!! how do you expect a person tp take a shower under trickling water?
The facility had great access to the beach, a beach bar, and a relaxing roof top pool with bar. Rooms we're a good size. Staff members were not very welcoming. They weren't mean or rude, but didn't seem like they enjoyed their jobs or the guests. Older hotel so not many elevators, but what made it worse was when the service personnel put the elevators on hotels on hold during the busy mid morning. The hotel needs renovated badly. The hallways had stains on the carpet and the walls looked dirty. The rooms had damage to ALL the furniture which is weird because they make you put down $125 security deposit if damage is done. Sooooo if people are beng charged $125 when they cause damage then FIX the damage! Not staying there again. I'll pay a little extra to stay at the Tropicana.
Walking distance from boardwalk and casinos. Nice view. Comfy bed. No coffee in room. Toilet paper holder fell off wall. Hallway needed much improvements. No adjustable shower head. Most common areas were closed, for renovation ahead of summer season.
Friendly staff Things were falling off in our room that heater broke while we were in there the door wouldn't open with the key card ever lots of sounds in our room coming from the air vents loud people in the hallways at all hours of the night the smell of marijuana in the hallways somebody was jiggling are knob we had to evacuate not a good stay
My husband and I loved the fact that the entire hotel is non-smoking. We were right next door to the Tropicana which was very convenient. it was nice leaving after our stay and not having to walk to a smoke-filled casino to do so.
The lobby and rooms were just tired. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding but the decor needs updating. Everything was clean. No coffee maker in the room or free coffe in lobby was disappointing. Seems that is standard in most hotels now. We had almost no hot water both days.
The room smelled like mold and cigarettes and we were on the non smoking side. The room door was not sealed good so the wind in the hallway made it seem like someone was trying to get in, so we had to place a folded piece of cardboard in the crack of the door to stop the noise. The shower head sprayed so wildly I had to shower with my back to the shower head which wet my hair up. Smh! Not a good stay!
The Chelsea main tower location was clean and the valet staff was nice. The halls and elevator are very dated. The weekend rate was way too expensive for the overall condition of the hotel.
While AC seems to be running down, this resort seem to be getting better. Unlike may stays in AC at other hotels, with the exception of Revel (closed) and Borgata, most place have become dirty and old, Caesar's room were spotless, nothing seemed old or run down (and I stayed at the old tower). The restaurants in the center lobby was pleasant to have dinner and a drink , connection to the mall was convenient, and the third floor restaurant in the Mall where very impressive and Manhattan like. I would recommend a couples weekend here, even for those who stay out of the Casino, as I did.
I got a great deal on a room in the Centurion Tower (about $125 a night even after the resort fee, which was about $26 a day that they charge you at the end) and wasn't expecting a lot, though the room had a great view and was quite beautiful. Maid service was proficient in keeping it clean for the two days my girlfriend and I stayed there and I was overall very satisfied with the value I got while staying here, despite the bad Yelp reviews. The TV in the mirror (which I think is an item only available in the premium rooms) was broken, and when I called maintenance about it, they said most of those mirror TVs throughout the hotel were broken. It wasn't an essential feature of the room, though it was unfortunate that it didn't work.
I thought the staff was so helpful and friendly
Every thing was goog Every thing was good except the smell of smoking butchers us although our room was non smoking
The room was nice but you need to be at the rite tower. Staff was rood at registration,we booked 2 rooms but they only showed one, also they wanted to give us double beds although we booked one king size bed.
One of the best places to stay in AC
The room I asked for, I did not get.
Room faced lobby, was bright all night long, tons of noise coming into room, room was not ready when we arrived as offered online for 3pm check in, waste of 200 dollars, didn't sleep all night due to light coming in and noise from lobby traffic, would NEVER stay if here if had a choice elsewhere
It was located right in the middle of everything. You can walk to anywhere. The pool was for use by those 21 years old or older only. We had to go to ballys to use the pool. I didnt know that when booking the hotel.
The view N/a
Between the parking $10,hotel fee $25, car attendant $5,porter to help unload 2 bags from trunk $5 bell hop $5 then leaving bell hop$5 porter to help load 2 bags in car $5 car attendant another $5 total of and additional $65 . This is just plain highway robbery .This is the last time for cesars for us and our friends.View from the room was plain ridiculous it was the few of the lobby where check in was,and the lights were so bright in our room we had to tape the curtains closed.
I just came back from Europe that was a month long, this hotel is totally a replication of the hotels in Europe! High quality rooms that are extremely clean! I won't stay anywhere else now!
Nice size rooms and very modern.free wifi was a plus to have. None
Very clean, updated, friendly staff, great room-- best beds. A quick walked to the board walk from the hotel. A soul food restaurant one block up the street. I wish breakfast was included, however a fridge was in the room, just bring some food or snacks.
It was a good place to be. Not close to casinos but not a bad walk/drive
Location, amenities, room HVAC was not working but the staff responded and fixed it quickly. They were willing to move us if needed. Price was nearly $350 for one night with parking, taxes and fees.
Got my moneys worth very clean everyone was soooo nice That we had to leave :(
The room was clean, stylish and the beds were comfortable. Had to pay for parking. No pool/hottub.
Location was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating. Front desk staff that checked me out were not very friendly. I had questions on my bill and she did not even address them. She needs training on guest service.
it was very comfortable everything was very well as place I really enjoyed myself I didn't have enough time to stay longer
Very nice rooms, I was very pleased. Hotel requires valet parking. No breakfast included. Some of the channels were scrambled and unwatchable.
Fast check in and out. Friendly, polite staff. Clean rooms. Prompt valet service. Elevator access was limited and very slow
The price was perfect and hotel is very clean and rooms are very nice and well mantained. Did not have free parking
The Havana tower was all newly renovated and beautiful. It's farther to walk to the beach than the new section.
Liked the location on the AC boardwalk. Knew it would be worth the cost Spacious rooms, clean, decor food
Rooms show weariness
Everything The view outside my window was horrible.
Terrible room in west tower, bathroom wouldn't lock, toilet didn't work all the time, and you could hear elevators running all night in the room that sounded like a loud roller coaster.
No balloon And if you bring a cake, you have to pay 2.50 per person to eat the cake you brought They kept bring drinks we didn't order My friends couldn't be sitting first they wanted to surprise me, they had to wait outside the restaurant The food was good but very disappointed over all
The hotel was so beautiful with lots of restaurants and bars..we stayed in the Havanna tower which was newly renovated. Will stay here again.
Doesn't worth $600 for 2 nights.. you must pay for something that worth it. First of all beds are so old and rooms are not clean
I always stay here when I'm in AC. it's close to the beach, has shopping and food options inside for the rainy days, its own movie theater and gym and three night clubs!! That the Night clubs are weekend only. so during the week you have to venture out to party.
We stayed at Havana tower For 4 days with two queen bed, coffee maker, and a small refridge. New and clean room. We only wished there is a bathtub in the bathroom and a microwave oven in room. We wish there is a bathtub in the bathroom.
The shops and restaurants. I did not like the way I was treated during the check in, I had previously requested a double bed non smoking room but instead, I was given two chices: a double bed smoking room or a king bed non smoking. I paid a high amount of money for two nights to have my nice sleeping on a roled bed. The front desk person processing my check in was not necessarily in her best mood at that time. I was not asking for a favor, I was just demanding the service I was entitled to and the one a customer deserve. Thank you.
Leaving Smell of room, cheap amenities in room, inadiquit lighting in room
Hotel smelled in the lobby and the hallway but was located just a few steps away from the boardwalk. All I needed was a place to sleep and this hotel serviced my needs. If I was going for comfort, cleanliness and luxury I would have hated my stay here but for what I needed it was ok.
Location is convenient. Breakfast area in lobby is crammed and refridgerator in room froze beverages. Hallways smell very bad - mold, cigarettes, etc.
i guess you get what you pay for , one of the staff members was rude on his phone the whole time was trying to ask him questions he'd just look at you and go back on his phone . No microwaves in the rooms had to use the Not so clean one in the lobby . Cont breakfast was stale. THE BIG BED and location was the best part. The shower was dirty there was hair left in it and molded ceiling .
i love the balcony and the closeness to the boardwalk our phone in our room did not work, this alone would not cause me issue, what caused me issues was the 6 person brawl that occurred at 4am, and when i tried to contact the front desk to notify them the other patrons were screaming for help and the police to be called but the phone did not dial the front desk or 911, i luckily had the hotels business card in my wallet from my check in, but when i called the front desk, no one was sent to deal with the other people, nor did the police ever arrive, as i asked the front desk to contact them for the woman crying and begging for police, in the end about 10 minutes later the noise stopped but we were unable to return to sleep
Staff were helpful for the most part. They did what they could to help out and address customer concerns. The quality of rooms was fine for the price paid and the location was quite good, close to the boardwalk. The Internet connection wasn't very good. The breakfast was quite mediocre also. Overall, the building looks worn out and needs renovation. Otherwise, not bad!
The hotel looks old and beat up, and it is, but our room was clean and the hotel fulfilled its purpose of being a place to sleep. No bugs, no cigarette burns, no dust bunnies. Sheets and towels were clean. A good deal for the price, especially since it is steps away from the boardwalk. Beat up furniture, not enough electrical outlets, facilities were run-down, staff less than courteous, parking less than ideal.
Freindly staff, clean, Lamb breakfast bar but it was OFF season in Atlancic city
Extremely close to the beach and Boardwalk and free parking. Staff was pleasant and made sure all free breakfast items were stocked and refilled when empty. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable for the small amount of time my husband and I were actually in the room. Our phone and coffee pot in the room didn't work. However, we didn't complain, so for all we know they would have made it right while we were there. The breakfast was free, so it seems a little trite to complain about variety, but in the interest of informing others who may stay here just know that it was a choice of raisin bran, frosted flakes, oatmeal, or toasted bread.
I liked the proximity to the boardwalk. The breakfast was terrible. The coffee pot was empty yet it was still breakfast time. For a 2 star hotel I thought you were over priced. The hotel is very old. Needs to be updated.
It's good for one night stand. Very old, strange people walking around parking lot.
Nice, relaxing room close to everything... Good breakfast every day.
Nothing to like Room was in need of repair and good cleaning. We were also woken up about 10:30 pm the day we checked in to the sound of mice eating our food. We informed the front desk of the issue and that we wanted to leave! The manger would not even refund our money in full! Do not recommend a stay here!!!
I like the cly the room The atención to the costomer...
My room was clean bathroom was so clean I didn't even see soap scum on the tiles grate water pressure and the A/C to the room keep it ice cold even with it being 95 out with high humidity pool looked nice but didn't have time to use it and the coffee was fresh in the morning and there was free off street parking The ice machine didn't work on the third floor and had to go to the lobby every time I needed ice, the outside carpet look like it needed to get changed out soon but you can tell the owners are working fixing the bad here. The last thing I didn't like was the houses behind this place and really trashy people living there they keep to them selves for the most part but from 2pm till 8pm you could here some yelling from in your room
If it rained I would have been indoors. The staff was courteous. Staying in a homeless shelter would have been a better option. The stains on the carpet in my room could have been modern art. The TV looked like the vintage that came out when the A Team premired The bathroom was so small, there wasn't room to change your mind. The smell of the establishment only can be described as "unique" If I collected the dog hair from the floor I could have woven a door mat I was afraid to sleep under the covers, the only thing missing from this room was a chalk outline of a body to complete the motif.
The bed in the room was large. The bathroom was clean. The location was close to the boardwalk and beach. The front desk staff were slow and not very friendly. The lobby was dirty and needed definite updating. The chairs and umbrellas in the pool area were broken. They certainly should buy new chairs, umbrellas and consider some tables for the pool area.
We stayed here for the convenience of being close to the boardwalk, and the price. We are a young couple, with young children. We felt very scared in this very run down and prostitute filled part of town. There is a crack house across the street, where drug deals went on throughout the day. The Endicott hotel down the street, is where homeless people, drug addicts, and prostitutes are out all hours of the day/night. A loud bar down the street, where apparently there is no cut off time, as at 7 am people are outside beligerntly drunk. I would not stay here again, even if they were giving away free rooms!!
It's a dump run by crooks. No irons in the room because "people steal them'. The breakfast is a joke. Do not stay here. Run away and don't look back.
I liked the closeness to the boardwalk and beach. The pool was nice. I didn't like the mold in the bathroom shower, black mold! The bathroom light was broken and wouldn't turn on without playing with the switch. The ceiling in our room was starting to fall in the corner of our room. One towel for 4 people. Our carpeted floor had nothing but white paint stains all over it as well as the chair at the table. Extension cords were everywhere. Outlets wouldn't hold our phone cords. Tv is old and remote didn't work. No iron to iron out clothes, but we had the ironing board. Would not recommend for a family.
To me this is just a place to crash that is all Everything else
Nothing Old... ran down..dingy smells..feels like a motel in the hood..paid over 300 for 1 night..because 4th of July weekend Pool small.. ph and chlorine levels probably not in range to health department guidelines..reason surface is painted blue..
Nothing special. Wouldnt want to stay for more than one night. Card didnt always work with the door.
The stay was abordable, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok... better than nothing.Cant complain. It was a placé to rest my head at an affordable price.
There weren't bed bugs, staff was nice Everything else
Sam is the man hell do u right Brighten up sheets appearance is everything.suppose to be white.
Worst rooms and lobby..muddy smell..some lights were not working in the room..
I chose Ramada West because it was near AC at a relatively cheap price (got one night for $60). The check-in/checkout process was seamless, and I always add in brownie points for hotels with pools and continental breakfasts. I should have known that for $60, I would be getting a $60 hotel. Even though I was in a non-smoking room, my room (and the entire hotel for that matter) smelled like it was saturated with smoke. The furniture was scratched, chipped, and hasn't been replaced for 20 years. The beds had no support on them, and even with the air conditioner at full blast, I had a film of sweat covering my entire body when I woke up the next morning. Also, power outlets are sparse in the rooms.
I liked the size of the room, comfy pillows, shuttle service was the best, service was kind, location for food delivery (Johnny's d!) Not spotless but what do you expect for a cheap stay, the ventilation in room was broken or at least sounded broken
The very first night we had all separate rooms and my son was threatened by a man staying on his side of the building so we had to move him immediately. The rooms has such a nasty order to them as well. Next issue was the doors would barely lock. Then we had to switch another room due to bed bug issue. The pictures provided were false we took pictures of each incident and there was blood and a condom found in the other room given which was "NEW". I would love to speak with a supervisor. This place had drug dealing going on, prostitution and police came the last night due to the excessive knocking on the next door from us. Someone also left a six pack of broken bottles under our tire, which we also have pictures of. We barely slept while at this place. We would never recommend anyone!
Comfy beds and pillow, bathroom water pressure on point, Breakfast really good, the pool was nice too. Service was great too It is dated, things need to be repaired as well and cleaned a little better.
Very quiet and nice rooms Have to pay when check in can't pay ahead of time
The check in process was smooth and the staff was very professional and courteous. The room was clean and was stocked with enough towels and washcloths. I would definitely consider the Ramada for my next stay in Atlantic City! The first night was great but Saturday night was very noisy. There was excessive door slamming and there was a very loud argument that seemed to go on forever.
Location Dirty, the bathroom had hairballs in it, room was dingy and dark, no blankets just a bed spread that was probably never washed, loud basically crack motel.
THEIR WAS BED BUGS, have video proof. Place needs to be shut down. Disgusting
. Only because it was cheap A lot of characters hanging around not a good look at all .. My first time there so I don't if it's like that all the time .. And they charge for parking .. Which I think the was front deck guy come up money .. Pulling that stunt all night and if you move your car you may have to park a block away if your parking space gets taken .. Smh
For the price it was fine!! The room smells like cigarette and was a non smoking room.
Hotel is close to the AC boardwalk and casinos. The room was clean and comfortable. The parking- not enough. We paid the hotel accross the street to park the car so that it was only about 1/2 block to carry our bags.
There was people nocking at our door at night and morning Our next door neighbors were rob They stolid there car and stuff of the room and there were no damage to the door
Nothing Everything dislike
Close to the casino. It was clean, just what i expected nothing fancy but decent. Says free parking. No parking available at the hotel had to park somewhere else.
It was affordable. didnt feel very safe had a late check in and front desk guy was sleeping with a bat next to him.The bed sheets had like black dots on them scared it was bedbugs but didnt wake up with bites and the shower the water dripped all night leaving a rusty drain and rusty wall under faucet. Didnt like how when we got to our floor the bed were right next to window knowing the guy was sleeping.
It's walking distance to the casino. There was no parking. Desk guy moved his car and demanded 10 dollars cash! Holes in the wall, shower was beyond gross, dirt everywhere, big cracks around door so the wind just blows in, the bathroom had peeling fixtures, and even the steps and outdoor walkway were sticky with something gross. I only paid 80 bucks but I might as well slept under the boardwalk.
The hotel is inexpensive, and close to the casinos. There is a pizza place immediately next door, which was nice. They have a shuttle that picks up and offers free slop play/rewards at various casinos. However, even though the woman at the desk knew that we were waiting for the shuttle, it showed up 10 minutes early, and she watched up wait outside for it for 15 minutes, before telling us when we went back inside that it came before we went outside. The hotel does not operate the shuttle, so I don't blame her, but you'll want to go outside 15 minutes before it's scheduled to arrive, just in case. The jacuzzi I paid extra to have did not work. I told the manager this, and she said they would fix it tomorrow (after I was to check out, which obviously would not help me at all). When I insisted on a refund, or at least to be charged the price of a room without a jacuzzi, she told me there would be no refund, and that if I did not "leave [her] alone" that she would call the police on me. Needless to say, after coming home from a casino at 2am and trying to relax in the jacuzzi with my girlfriend, I had no interest in speaking to the police. Fortunately, it did not come to that, but what I was provided was the opposite of customer service. As I said, great location, and inexpensive, and probably my review would be great (knowing that you get what you pay for) if I had booked a room without a jacuzzi; however, this woman's actions and behavior were entirely inappropriate and I would simply say to be careful/aware when booking here. You may have a great time without any issues, really... Or, in the alternative, you may be threatened with the police when you ask to be provided what you paid for.
I like my stay at the inn. the only problem I had was finding the place as advertise on the website. if your driving it shouldn't be a problem but for non drivers I suggest the inn advertise the bus route to their location for easy access. other than that, the staff I met were very professional in assisting me and making my stay at the knights inn very pleasant. I would come back again and recommend it to friends. No complaints.
