The owner who was very helpful and pleasant. The location was peaceful but convenient and close to the caldera. The room was spotless and well appointed.
lovely place to stay Not easy to find the villas in the frist time
The Villas were family run and for the money we paid I thought it was excellent value. I little way out of main town but within walking distance of about 10 minutes. If you have a moped or quad bike its with 3 minutes Not the hotel only real bug bear was the building site that was going on next door. No mention of this on your site or from the villa owner. Still it was good value for money as the owners made us most welcome.
The staff and owners were very helpful and did all they could to ensure our stay was pl;easant
the room is so so so beautiful and the host is quite kind person. the hotel is located in a very quiet place but just 15 minutes walk to Fira city center. it will be so wonderful to live in this hotel.
everything is perfect it is a little far from the bus station, but it is not far from the fira city center
Friendliness of the hotel staff, and cleaness. Nice breakfast
5 minutes far from centre of Fira, nice decoration!staff was very friendly and helpfull!
great service, friendly people, felt at home
Wonderful hotel staff. Great location...lovely jacuzzi. Would definately stay here again.
In Summer Time Hotel I like the most the helpfull staff, the modern decoration of the room, the clleanliness of the room and its location clode to all things needed like bus sto, supermarket, taxi station, night clubs, restaurants, fast food, travel angencies and all these a capital offers. I surely recommend this hotel either for family vations or for friends vacations.
The location (2 mins walk from the main square in Fira) was great! The room was basic but cosy and had a nice feel to it. The staff was lovely! Also the free wi-fi was a nice thing, even 4* hotels in Greece don't always provide this. At the price we got it for it was an absolute bargain.
very friendly staff, always smiling and very happy to help when needed :)
Nothing. Apart from being assigned a room next to the kitchen & being located in the reception area, it was a nightmare. The son of the owner kept my passport until the last second & there were yellow crusty stains on the blankets. The sheets provided on the bed were already dirty upon arrival. Breakfast was served directly outside my door.
The location is great very close to town but away from the crowds, the swimming pool and the reception are ok.
We like the position of our hotel because it is near center of Thira, whitch is center of all island Santorini, and near bus station and rent a scooter/quad/car. We did not like the very poor breakfast. 1 kind of salami, 1 kind of cheese, 1 kind of butter, 1 kind of mermelade and 2 kind of cereals. That is all you get and in small quantities.
The pool was nice and the view of the sunrise was also nice. The bathroom was poor, and the toilet didn't work most of the time. There was not power or water the last day. Checking in and out of the hotel was very time consuming. We were originally told our room would be ready at 10 AM then we were told it would be ready at noon, then we were told it would be ready in 10 minutes for about 2 hours. Checking out was also time consumeing.
Close enough to the center of Fira Its price and personnel
very close to city center(fira) very noisy, poor breakfast
pool, quiteness, price breakfast was very poor, just bread, cheese and jam and ended at 10AM. Overall i think most things in Santorini are overpriced, though Villa Popi was a good option if you are looking for a budget hotel.
The big room.
Clean room. Staff very friendly and helpful. English well spoken. Nice pool. Good A/C. Close to main tourist area, just a 3 minute walk. Off the main road, so no car noise. Bathroom very small. Toilet almost in shower.
The location was ok, very close to centre of Fira. The wardrobe stank, the toilet seat was broken, reception was closed from 1400 to 1700 (without prior notice - we had to wait 2h30 on the day of arrival). Staff was friendly but not hardworking.
Location is good. Good value for money Noise into the room from other parts of the house
The building was beautiful, we had a huge terrace with a view, and a table and chairs. There was a swimmingpool ( a bit hidden though). The room was nice, with air conditioning ( very useful there!!).The neighbourhood was very quiet. The bathroom was a bit small to be confortable.
Personell was great, very helpful. My 1:30am arrival was no problem even though the reception was closed.
The terrace- aerated, big enough, with one marble table. We didn't fiind glasses in our room!!!! I drank water from the tooth-brushes-glass!!!!! And for my husband,I cut a plastic bottle!!!! The bath-room so small, when I used the w.c,was possible only with my feet in bathtub...and my head.....in the sink...
The hotel was okay but you need to make sure they won't transfer you. They transferred me to what they said was their family's hotel on my third night because they had overbooked. One of the male proprietors tried to enter my room during the afternoon, and the family walked by my window a lot. The room overlooked local homes and was less comfortable. Yet the third night was at the same rate as the third.
The room was clean, had everything we needed, and the staff was very helpful; they even gave us a ride to the airport.
The cleaning lady did not speak any English, (and she ran the hotel most of the day) but she was wonderful, helpful and polite. They charge you for expenses you do not make. There are several other hotels nearby that are better and cheaper. Look around!
The staff was AWESOME! Very helpful and sweet. We had a 6 month old baby with us and we felt absolutely comfortable here. The room was lovely. Not luxurious, but perfectly simple. The bathroom was a little cramped, but it didn't bother us too much!
Villa Soula in Santorini was a good choice mainly because of its central position in Fira. It is just a couple of minutes walk from the centre. The rooms were quite spacious and had good furniture and facilities. Good breakfast as well. Something that I thought could be introduced is a 24 hour front desk.
The staff are very professional and work hard to please their clients. We loved the proximity of the hotel to everything we wanted to see in downtown Fira, the suggestions made by Ana the manager, and the handling of the overbooking issue. For the question about the usefulness of the reviews, there are not any displayed yet.
This hotel was excellent! Great location, helpful staff and very relaxing by the pool. Most important to know are directions as website is not accurate and no pick up from airport or ferry offered. Walk up the pedestrian street (Main St) over the cobble stones and walk up the hill about 600m, walk past Hertz and turn left just after Sun Sand & Sports and you will see the hotel. There are no signs and most locals don't know where it is.
Central location, clean, nice staff and hotel.
Aria Lito was a lovely place that provided the perfect atmosphere for our stay. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help.
It was a quiet hotel, with friendly staff and generally good service. A perfect place to escape from the world. I had to ask for the bed linen to be changed on one day.
Super place to stay in Fira. Location is fantastic and plenty of room. A quiet place in the centre of town. Htel staff go out of their way to make you feel special..
The staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. Wonderful and sweet location. Everything nice and clean. Site is located in the centre of Fira but still really quiet. A place to relax.
Marcos was one of the bests hosts in all of Greece. He arranged a car for us and gave us several suggestions to do on Naxos.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the Fira location was convenient. The hotel, an updated former mansion, was very charming. The view is not that spectacular since the hotel is not at the edge of the cliff and is surrounded by other buildings. I would have preferred a view that shows more of the sea and volcano.
Location, location, location... Curtains too thin, bathroom less lights, a/c behind the curtains, bed could have been bigger in size.
The staffs are very nice. we loved the environment. and it is close to the Fira center, just few walking time. lovely hotel!!!!
good location. You can go to Fira by a path with beautiful view. View from the hotel is also fabulous and Swimming pool is very nice. Staff extremely kind. we have no complaint.
The room was large, very modern and the views spectacular. Apart from our balcony, there were several terraces where you could view the sunset. Breakfast was very good, usually taken outside on the terrace. We felt it is situated in one of the best places in Santorini as Firostefani lies between Fira and Imerovegli, both within easy walking distance. A fantastic holiday! The only thing was we felt the shower should be fixed to the wall and the bath was quite difficult to get out of.
The location was great-we ejoyed being tucked into the Caldera, away from the noise of the city and with awesome veiws all around.
This is a gorgeous hotel with an amazing view, great rooms, lovely breakfast, and very helpful staff - especially Tsiala, she is a star. If we ever return to Santorini, we will definitely be staying here. Due to an unforeseeable problem with another guest we were unable to stay at Agali Houses on the first night and were put up in Cliff Side Suites instead. It was aweful, dirty and not nearly as nice as Agali Houses. We were very pleased when we moved and luckily got an upgrade to make up for it!
Beautiful view, service, design, cleanliness, warmwelcome, special attention to customers ( my wife birthday), good selection of music (cd's) to bring in the room, outstanding swimming pool. tranquillity, and charm. close to 200 steps to get to the street
The view was amazing. Modern and clean. Friendly staff that recommends and helps with everything you might need. Hard to find.
Our apartment was spacious and even nicer than expected. The views from our two large terraces was spectacular! Loved every moment. Thank you. The steps to the road was a little tiresome and not for the weak or disabled.
This hotel is beautiful. The views from the rooms, swimming pool, bar area, everywhere are stunning. It's exactly what you would expect from a hotel in Santorini. It is approx. a 10 minute walk into Fira which is fine as it gives you plenty of spots for photos. The hotel will organise a taxi for you into Oia, we always got the local bus back as it drops you directly outside the hotel entrance. All in all a super place to stay. Room was great with a real double bed!
Lovely location. Nice to be just outside the centre and away from the cruise ship crowds. Lovely rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. A real treat! Good view of the sunset! It wasnt a problem for us but be aware you will need to be able to manage stairs. The location is worth it!
We were greeted very warmly. Felt as if the staff were inviting us into their own home. Everything was very personal & they were so friendly. We were given a glass of peach juice to enjoy while they finished setting up our room. They did not even allow us to carry our luggage to the room; someone brought it there for us & I was very thankful for that because climbing up and down the stairs was very tiring that first day. It was very quiet and relaxing. Every room/balcony had a beautiful view of the volcano/caldera. a safe 10 minute downhill walk into Thira. But that means going back was uphill! We were graciously upgraded to the loft since it was our honeymoon. It was an incredibly wonderful experience and I'd love to return!! It was perfect, nothing to change!
The hotel staff were great, very helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable, clean and had a nice view of the island. The water in the jacuzzi was a bit cold.
Great spa pool overlooking the sunset.
It's a beautifully decorated hotel situated on the cliff with the most magnificant view. Although it's 10-minutes walking from Fira, I like it even better since it's nice and quiet. Breakfast on the patio looking out the volcano is something I will remeber for a long time. When we got to the hotel there was no one there. Luckily we had a laptop with us and called the number listed on the door. It wouldn't be a problem if guests have cell phones, but with international travelers it could be difficult to make the call.
Fantastic view, the hotel staff are friendly, the was clean and big. We recomend for everyone. Fantastic place.
The view was incredible from our balcony, a little minus we had a electric cable just in front of it, so to take sunset pictures you had to go on the street .The breakfast was ok. We had a hot spa in our bedroom the smell of the chlorine was there but you get use to it, also it was hard to get in to with narrow ladders . We had a couple of trouble in the room which were fixed during the day while we were away (like bad sound on TV, fridge not cooling, burned bulb).Beside these ,the location was perfect for us ,away from the center of Thira , which is a Zoo when you get 9 cruising ship in the port.
like the sea view from the room, nice breakfast a main road in front of the hotel, no privacy at all.
Spectacular views from west side rooms. 2 bathrooms. Free internet connection in rooms.
hotel is well located to visit the island Photos of the hotels are misleading. jacuzzi impossible to use and does not add any value to the hotel. very expensive for what it is.
We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. We decided to take one of the bigger room (junior suite) and it was the perfect choice. Our 15 months old daughter had lots of space to play around. The staff is great and the shuttle to Mykonos very convenient. Food at the restaurant was very good and prices are fair. Elia beach is beautiful, it is very clean and the colour of the watter is just incredible.
We stayed 3 nights here in mid-September. The situation of the hotel is excellent, the little village of Firostefani is a little bit more authentic than Fira, and you can reach Fira on a very beautiful stroll along the cliffs. The hotel and the room is extremely clean. The breakfast is served in the room and was very good. We had a maisonette style room, a quite small jacuzzi next to the bed, from where we could see the sea on both sides of the island. From the hotel, you can book many different boat trips. Next to the hotel there are some excellent restaurants, we especially can recommend the Vanillia for its fresh fish and the small terrasse of Vallas for its excellent fresh juices and salads! All in all, an excellent choice! The car rental is actually free and would be a very good opportunity to visit the island. The problem is, you don't have insurance if you use this car, so whatever happens, you pay.... Also, the room is not very cheap, even though you get a good deal for the price. September is a very good time for travelling in these islands, the prices are a little bit better than the rest of the year and it is less crowdy. It is very windy, during the day no problem with 30 degrees, but the evenings can be cold, so take a jackett!
The position of the hotel, amazing... and not many steps for Santorini as my husband has knee problems Did not have a private balcony, our room was next to reception, a bit noisey in morning with staff walking past talking.
staff were lovely and the setting and views were stunning could not get internet access in our room
Convenient location if you want to be central to Fira (not the nicest place on the island though!) We were upgraded and treated v well. Fantastic view and pool It's a bit too in the middle of it all to feel really relaxing. It's all very luxurious, but there's something of a soul missing from it (as with many of the 'luxury' hotels in Santorini
This is an awesome hotel, we were greeted upon entrance with champagne and friendly staff. The host has many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants! And of course the pool is one of the best places to sit and relax in all of Santorini! Thanks to everyone at the Cosmo for a great stay.
The location and the view of the vulcano from their pool was spectacular. The personal of the hotel was very friendly and tried to do their best for a pleasant stay. First, our reservation overlaped with other reservation so in the last two nights they had to move us to another hotel. The good part was that the second hotel was nicer, at least the room and the service was amazing, just that it was located in Oia. So at the end we were happy after this incident. Another issue that we had was that at Cosmopolitan hotel we reserved a standard room, and it was sooo small that u couldn´t even move ( around 12m 2 all room with bathroom). In the first night I fell that I don´t have enough air in the room, but at the end I got used with it. So if u truly want to enjoy ur stay book a suite.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the views from the pool area are stunning and you are right in the centre of town, but still away from the hustle and bustle.
