Hotel staff asked us to wait for 20 mins for the other person to come for the shift and check in. Rooms are worst with cockroach in the bathrooms and bad smell in the room. Breakfast time is 7 to 9 but you will get nothing if you go at 8:15.
The hotel was renovated, so the facilities were very good, the room was nice.
However: -the service is terrible. -the keys keep losing their connection, and we had to go back to the desk even twice a day to recharge them (or whatever they do) -you can hear absolutely everything going on in the next room and some nights it went on ALL NIGHT. horrible. And it was due to the fact that the only thing dividing the rooms are doors that do not seal. - the breakfast ends at 9 (at 9! for people on vacation) and they never told us that during check in. they actually did not give us ANY information, and there is nothing in the rooms to see the services they have or to have information about the hotel, which is very strange, as all hotels do. So good facilities is not enough.

no shuttle pick up after 9pm from airport, no batteries in tv remote and none at front desk, dirty shower, no good aircon temp control
Hotel was ideal for a 1 night stay before a cruise. The hotel provides free transportation from the airport and to the cruise terminal the next day. Just be aware that they only have 1 van and since the cruise shuttles happen between 12 noon and 2:00 if you arrive at the airport you will have to wait till about 2:00 to get picked up.
Hotel is old and shabby. Couldn't control air conditioning and room was too cold. If you turned off air, water dripped from the ceiling making a large puddle on the floor. Was tolerable for 1 night and the transportation made up for the place. Safe area with shopping mall and many restaurants within walking distance.
The localization was very good, and there is a parking connected into the hotel
the desk reception man, was very rude and impolite with me and all group and the breakfast just don`t exist.

The humidity in rooms, the price of parking (8$ by night), the breakfast very poor and bad free before 9am, very expansive after 9am !
Was in an OK location, understaffed/ poorly adept receptionist who was unable to deal with running the front desk. Hotel was run down - but rooms were fairly clean. Bathrooms very summy but OK. Pool looked quite nice. breakfast not worth it but I suppose it's a selling point. Was cheap, so what else do you expect these days!!
the basic structure was very poorly kept - ie the walls, stairs etc were in a bad state and desperately in need of paint & a clean up. Would only recommend if you are on a tight budget and dont want to spend any time in the room - if it is a base to dump your belongings and get out of the room!!!
we asked for a wake up call in the morning and did not get one. Our alarm clock and clock radio did not work and the staff said they could not replace it. I had called the hotel before we checked in to make sure that there would be a shuttle to the airport in the morning. The person said there would be but the van did not start until 8am and I needed it at 5am. I had stated when I called that I would need it that early and they said it would be available so I had to take a taxi to the airport which was 40 dollars. The elevator on the fourth floor where we stayed did not work in the morning. My experience was not a positive one.
the hotel was in a very quiet part of Miami
air conditioning had only 2 settings - very cold and off. the hotel did not discourage smoking in the non-smoking rooms
Acessible to transport and shops, I felt safe in the local area at night and day, staff were very kind,transport from airport and port from hotel was good
one member of staff (gentleman) would not send shuttle to pick up from port,the shuttle bus driver had told us to ring ring hotel when we arrived at the port,but the gentleman would not send it,we had to pay for a taxi $35, when we arrived at the hotel the shuttle bus driver said we should have been picked up, nor refund of taxi fare was given
The staff was really friendly. No need to pay the parking when reserving via Internet.
The inroom freezer was a little annoying as it made so much noise. But generally a good and cheap place to stay.
I liked the location of the hotel.
I did not like the smoking on the not smoking level. I did not like the service of the restaurant attached to the hotel.
