room was fine
the breakfast included was not very good and the pool and hot tub is pretty much in the lobby
Arrived very late at night, staff extremely helpful with airport shuttle information and helping me plan schedule during my stay.
Close to the airport!
Staff was accommodating and friendly. The restaurant attached to the bldg was good quality. The complimentary breakfast was best I've had at a motel. This establishment is a very good find for the price. The carpet in the room definitely needed cleaning which would have eliminated weird smell that was covered by deodorizer. That was the only downside.
The beds were very comfortable and clean. We liked the hot tub. The restaurant was great although a little understaffed - the servers were very kind.
The staff was a little unfriendly but not rude. The rooms could use a little maintenance (ie: cracked tiles in the bathroom, chipped paint, etc.).
The staff is cold, impersonal and unsympathetic. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel but it is now little more than a place to sit while eating what they describe as "complimentary breakfast", two eggs (good) bread described as toast (bad) and french fries described as hash browns (bad). The waitress never said a single word to me. The hostess took my order (one of two breakfast options). The grounds were not clean. The room's bathroom was not very clean. The only microwave in the entire place had what I can only assume was a month's worth of previous guest spilled food in it. And this must be the only hotel on the planet that still collects a $100 deposit on the off chance that the guest doesn't own a cell phone and will need to use the room phone. I am not in the habit of loaning hotels money so I won't be returning.
There was no hot water in the morning so we could not bathe before flying home. Otherwise it was fine and the staff was nice
Best free breakfast with the room
comfortable bed, clean, courteous staff, great aisan bistro
Crappy windows and heard cars and people all nite long. Also I wish I had requested a room farther away from the entryway because everyone was super loud walking stomping and chatting down the hallway.
Bare bones, inexpensive, but comfortable.
Dated, but reasonably well maitained.
The price is right, and the location is great: very close to the airport.
The rooms and decor of the whole place are dated. Small parking lot.
They have an exceptional person at the front desk named Jessica. She picked us up from the airport on the shuttle. Our car wouldn't start and she personally stayed after her shift to assist us (it was in the middle of the night and our AAA had expired the week before). With customer service like Jessica gave, this hotel is worth any inconvenience. I like that they offer breakfast, the airport shuttle, and a reasonable parking fee for the "Park and Ride" to the airport.
It is in a location near the airport, but not ideal for a hotel. It is older, with older furniture, TV's, etc.
They gave me a room close to the lobby, because I am a smoker and it was a non smoking hotel.
Because I booked the hotel room threw a third party they wouldn't give me a receipt for my work.
The free hot breakfast was well above average.
The whole hotel feels worn out and old. The pool and hot tub are in an awkward area right in front of the check-in desk and look dirty, old, and dingy. The room was noisy and the TV was at least 2 decades old.
Room was clean.
Staff was not very friendly or helpful at all, and in fact bordered on rude. Although the hotel was very clean, it still felt a little dirty because the building is old and dingy. It is literally attached to a Chinese restaurant, for what that's worth. The price is reasonable, but I would pick another airport hotel if the price was close.
Room was clean and mostly comfortable.
Every time we tried to use our free breakfast voucher they said that breakfast was over even when it was before the cutoff time for breakfast.
The Airport Inn Hotel was in a very convenient location for us (driving in from NV, leaving car to fly out of SLC airport). What really stood out was the kindness of the early morning staff to get us on our shuttle ON TIME (5AM), with a breakfast snack in hand. THANK YOU!!
Close to airport and advantage rent a car
Restaurant about average
Price, location and cleanliness very good. Would stay there again.
Place is a bit dated. TV was old solid state and the furniture was bit large for the room.
Price was reasonable, bed was ok.
Hotel has musty smell, rooms need to be updated. For traveling alone, for the 6 hours I spent in the hotel, it was fine. If I was traveling with my family, I would have paid more and stayed in a nicer place.
proximity to airport
ripped fabric on chair, broken plug, and ants
I forgot something of small value in the room but when I called back they had nothing in lost and found. They took my phone number but I did not get any call back.
First room I checked into had what can only be described as a "money shot" on the right side of the bed frame that had a dried and crusted trail going all the way down to the bed. When I went to the front desk to complain, I was informed that the hotel does not actually have a cleaning staff but, apparently, outsources this activity to only certain parts of the day. Thus, the poor girl who worked the front counter was forced to come up to the room with a sponge and attempt to clean it herself - only it WOULD NOT COME OFF. Apparently, this particular stain had been there so long that by using a sponge to clean it, the fake leather on the frame simply started to flake off and the stain remained. While I feel sorry for the staff, this hotel is a dump. It is VERY run down and very isolated, despite supposedly being close to the airport. It also didn't help that I was charged a near 40% premium for happening to stay here during the Outdoor Retailer Show. Salt Lake City is a pretty barren place, in terms of activities and amenities, but if you can stay in a hotel in the downtown area (will save a few bucks in the long run as well).
The location is the only good thing.
Everything felt awkward. The staff was cold, the restaurant was uncomfortable, eating breakfast is a closed Chinese restaurant and a pool in the lobby.
Waited too long for airport shuttle At check-in I asked for a taxi the follow morning at a certain time. The following morning when I asked about the taxi, they had no idea. I had to wait 20 minutes for a taxi and was almost late to my meeting. Once I got to my room on check-in day at 22:30, they shut off of the water for 40 minutes.
Close to aurport
Room was extremely hot when we got there and took several hours to cool down. They did offer a fan from the office to help.
The room was clean
The staff was rude and not welcoming it was not a good experience.
Staff was cool... Location was excellent.... Room was clean...
Lights kept flickering: shower was at short level; room smelled moldy
24 hr FREE airport shuttle is fantastic - friendly driver Comfortable bed
RUDE staff, very dated hotel, old crappy TVs, smells old, NASTY breakfast made of recycled leftovers at the dirty in-house Chinese restaurant, the housekeeper barging in the room at 9am after checking in at 3am (delayed flight).
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet overnight.
The breakfast is a sit-down and order in the restaurant. This is really inconvenient for those who want to just grab a quick bite to eat on the way out of the door. Also the "fitness center" is just 4 pieces of exercise equipment, no weights or mats. And the swimming pool floor looks like it has never been cleaned.
It looked a lot different on the internet the pool was freezing cold the hot tub was tiny it wasn't relaxing
I left a $40 cell phone charger in my room, called a few hours after I left the hotel and the person at front desk told me they had it and would save it for me. I went back to get it a few days later and it was gone. Long story short, the employees steal from the lost and found.
