The accommodations are pretty standard for what you pay for. Overall it's a pretty decent property. The rooms are pretty basic just a bed, TV, some storage for your clothes. Don't expect to have the latest and most fancy place for the amount you are going to spend. We did not encounter any problems during our stay, the front desk staff was very nice at check in, check out and during the times that we went to the front to get breakfast. The pool was clean and the perfect distraction for the 117 degree weather. One thing we did notice is that the water in the pool was warmer than normal, we think the water heater was turn on. However I didn't think about going to the front desk to tell them. I'm pretty sure they would have done something about it. I definitely recommend this property if you're staying in town for one or two days or for a weekend getaway. I'm more of a person that rather save money at the accommodation that way I have extra money to spend out in town in restaurants and shopping. It seemed that the pool heater was turned on but the water was still tolerable. I should have said something about it to the front desk staff but I didn't think about it.
The air condition in the room was woefully inadequate.
Nice and quiet with a happy and positive environment. Light switches were a littpe confusing but easily figured out
Location was out of way but ok. Decent value in Palm Springs, but expensive for a very basic hotel/motel. Tons of noise from 2-5am. Basically party central, people coming and going. Low rent.
Great location, nice facility As a repeat customer, I've noticed they don't mop the floors. Both my sock and soles of my feet were dirty very quickly.
Location is great The elevator was filthy, had a guy smoking in it, the hallways littered with cigarette butts and the floor in our room dirty. Our room was invaded by bugs that night and the pool was covered with bugs as well. When I complained, the desk clerk said "we can't control what people do and Palm Springs is experiencing a bug infestation" ...really?! You didn't think to tell me that when I checked in and took my money! If you can't control what people do, then clean up after them and clean the pool. No excuses, I didn't pay for a dirty, bug infested motel room!
I was very impressed with having a room with a king bed, private balcony overlooking the mountains, fridge and microwave, free continental breakfast, free WiFi, a good location, free parking ... all for under $75/night. It's only two miles to the main PS strip, so that's not bad, and it's on a semi-main street so the traffic is very moderate. I would definitely stay here again.
Free breakfast with stay. Leak in tub faucet
Not 5 star resort but the manager and staff made you feel that way! Largest hot tub I've ever seen! Older place but again staff were awesome!
Beds were comfortable. Great locations, close to many things. Staff was really nice Old tvs, not many channels to choose from. No microwaves.
I was originally disappointed because I thought I had made a reservation at the Motel 6 Downtown and this one is further from the restaurants. That changed the second I walked in the office door. The staff was super friendly and the rooms have all been upgraded. The other location is a dump compared to this one. My new favorite!! I liked everything!
Convenient location. Wifi not included & have to pay for it separately. Friendly people at the front desk. Too expensive & not worth the money. The room smelled like dirty toilet when I walked in. Not enough ventilation. The shower curtain smelled like dirty wet old towel that hasn't been washed for weeks. The top blanket on the bed had oil stain - gross!
The hotel is near a major street not too far from downtown Palm Springs; yet, it is quiet and peaceful. The room was cozy. I absolutely loved the bed sheets; they were so soft I didn't want to get out of bed. The outside is well maintained. I am definitely coming back.
to be fair: Its not Motel 6 and at least its quiet at night. the older man who was the manager/owner/front desk clerk or whatever he was, was really ehmm.... i had asked if we could cancel our stay (i had booked 2 nights in advance) since this place wasnt close to where we had work the next 2 days farther in the area. We were rejected for that. Fine. However, the place smells like old dust and air freshener, a bad combo. We had to air out the place the whole day. And while I had tried to cancel our stay, he was telling us 'Oh this place is usually $180 a night, i dont know why you would cancel'. Are you for real? Its always under 70 bucks and for $180 I'd go to the Sheraton!!
Quiet for the most part. Easy assess to the parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff. Not one thing.
Comfortable. Tv had a lot of channels. Sketchy area. Cigarette burns on both beds No shampoo in the bathroom Wifi was not easily accessible No clock Very little outlets
We stayed here for a wedding weekend. It was very easy to check in, and the customer service was great. I booked it at first because it was pretty cheap, close enough to the venue, and I had the option to cancel the booking up until a day before. Very accessible rooms. The pool was right outside the room. The hot tub was nice as well. It was not the most modern place but it had character and just felt comfortable. Would love a vending machine with snacks and not just drinks for late night munchies. There is a jack in the box near by but we did not want to drive, and it only has drive through open. But we could have been more prepared with snacks beforehand. I think it could be a little cheaper for the condition of the place, but, they have to stay in business and they are probably competitive prices for the location etc, and we payed it so all is ok.
The staff was very helpful The facility was in poor condition the first unit was dingy and the power did not work the door broke on the second room.
