The staff are tremendously helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble and although we ate out on other nights, the food at the Riad was the best we experienced. Time was taken by Abdel and Lessen to inform us of the sights to see and some of the pifalls to avoid, they were both very helpful. Although we had no direct contact with the other staff, on the odd occasion they saw us, there was always a polite greeting.
The location is a little off-putting, and it rained for a couple of hours with the result that the alleyways in the immediate vicinity became quite muddy. Also, being in the old town, it is near enough to the mosques to be very noisy at 4am now that they all seem to have state of the art public address systems.
Very welcoming staff, makes you feel right at home. The riad is a little paradise, an oasis of calm in the bustling medina.
Sometimes staff is a little overly concerned, asking if everything is ok over and over. But maybe that's just me...
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (Abdel & Lahcen). The owner Marc provided excellent communication and service. He gave me a free upgrade to Grey room which was very spacious, clean and of beautiful design. The dinner on the rooftop terrace was absolutely delicious and so relaxing. Great location too.
The staff was uniformly friendly, helpful and set us at our ease immediately. The food was very good, particularly the evening meals. In all the other places we stayed in Morocco the plumbing was poor but here it was just like home. The internet was reliable, which was also exceptional.
The Manager Abdel was a star.100% at all times a pro at his job at all times.Without his help settling in.In Marrakesh could have been a problem.
The staff were incredibly attentive and the riad was beautifully decorated. A lot of thought has been put into the layout and facilities. Our room was stunning and the dinner was excellent, the shared rooms were lovely and the terrace was great to chill out on. The plunge pool is very welcome after a few hours in the heat of the city.
The owner of the hotel sended us just after the reservation a mail with a nice explanation of how to find the riad - and offered a taxi from the airport for a good price. The room was great - very comfortable and clean, and a nice tadelakt bathroom. The jacuzzi was great - nicely cool in the summer; a good place to relax. The staff was very friendly - we could eat there for a good price although we arrived late at 21:30. They also booked a bus ticket for us for the next day - something we forgot. The roof terras is nice and quiet, with a good view over the city and a souk (shops). Excellent dinner, nice breakfast. Even after check-out time we could stay a bit longer to relax at the jacuzzi.
Staff is lovable and take care of all your needs. Both common spaces and rooms are very clean. Breakfast on the terrace is the best way to wake up in Marrakech.
Nothing. Just consider that if you pay by credit card they will charge you a 3,5% commission. Far better to pay cash in Euros.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Simple but comfortable accommodation with well prepared local cuisine. The location in the old city provides a real taste of ordinary life in Marrakech.
