The room was good. Please note: that the hotel is under construction. The room was nice. Our weekend was not interrupted by construction but I don't know what could be affected during week days. The hotel offered ear plugs for the potential construction noise, which was a bit odd.
Small stain on comforter. Made me question the overall cleanliness, i.e. Was this a stain or was it leftover from the previous customer??

The breakfast needs work. My husband and myself were very disappointed in the breakfast bar. The food was over cooked, so we barely ate anything at all. Then we got a bill for 30 dollars just for 2 of us. For a few pieces of sausage a buiscet and my husband got a scoop of powdered eggs. Very disappointed.
The woman at the desk that took care of us when we arrived at the hotel was very friendly. She also was very helpful when I asked questions about using the computer and printer. The jacuzzi was very comfortable, the only complaint we have about it is that we wished it had been open much later than what it was.
Some (not all) of the staff were very rude. After checking into the room and coming back from dinner, we were walking out of our room to make our way to the pool, and we were having a conversation and laughing as we were closing the door to our room, when a maid walked up to us and rudely said to us, "What's the problem?!?!". We looked at her very confused and said we had no problem, that's when she stomped away from us and went down another hallway. Upon checkout on Sunday, we waited at the desk as the gentleman at the desk was on the phone, he decided to take our room keys and acted very annoyed. I remained standing there because I wanted to ask a question, and before I could finish my question he immediately cut me off, and gave me an answer that had nothing to do with what I was attempting to ask him. It was very rude and we left after that, with that situation being our last impression. The mini fridge in our room was turned up to the coldest setting, which was not cold at all. The outlet next to the coffee maker did not work at all and the entire switch plate was loose. It would have been nice if breakfast was included, but it was not. There were no exhaust fans in the bathroom.

I absolutely loved the hotel, the staff, and the room! It was very modern and up to par!
BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW! (Unless you like super soft, to where your head is sinking into the pillow) I could not get comfortable because I didn't have enough support from the pillow.. This may sound like I'm being prudent, but I like my sleep just as much as the next! Also, breakfast is NOT included with your stay. It has to be billed to your room or you pay for it when your done.
Wish we could have slept in
The room we lovely and comfortable. The front desk was very nice and accomidating. It was a short drive to fun things in Atlanta. We went to the movies, a braves game, the world of coke, lots of Dinning out, and lots of stuff to do. Would consider staying here again.
We were traveling to a different time zone so our sleep schedule was a little off. The first morning there were guests in the hallway talking loudly about having to pack and leave for over 30 minutes. Later that day we took a nap because we were so tired. The staff knocked on the door for room service. It was the wrong room. Oops. The next morning, the one we were due to check out at 12Pm the housekeeper knocked on our door at 9:30am. Seems a little anxious to get us our of there to clean lady. The only other drawback was parking. The parking lot was close but it was up a steep hill or mountain of steps. We came and left the hotel a lot and so there was a lot of climbing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay though.
Sam and Charles, our shuttle drivers, were the tops! They took us too and from the MARTA Medical Center station nearest to us, and Sam had a good recommendation for a nearby sushi restaurant and even chauffeured us there and back on Saturday night! Even though they do not expect a tip, we gave each of them $10 per day for their excellent service. The junior suite was very clean and well-kept, and everything we used (particularly the Keurig coffee/tea maker) was in good working order. The whirlpool in the spa/pool area was just right on Saturday night (we got back from dinner in the L5 too late Friday to use it). The hotel even allowed us to keep our car in its lot after checkout on Sunday so that we could visit Stone Mountain for the day, and Charles graciously shuttled us to and from the metro station again so that our packed car could remain safe in the hotel lot before we traveled the three hours home. This was the first time we had actually stayed overnight in Atlanta, believe it or not, because we live close enough to Atlanta that we usually drive down and back in a day. But we plan to do this again and hope to make Hilton Garden Inn Perimeter Center our regular home when we do. We are timeshare owners with Westgate Resorts, so we are used to getting pampered while traveling on leisure, and this hotel very much met what we have come to expect from our resort company.
At $18.95, breakfast was pricey. My wife did not care for her pancakes, although I found them to be average. Even without getting anything from the kitchen and taking just the continental breakfast, the price is $6.95, while many hotels offer such items complimentary. We ate there the first morning but not the second, as we didn't feel it was good value for the price.
Had to wait a short time to check in so was given a small gift. Food outstanding, service just as good
Lovely property. The front desk staff was very professional.Location is great for business or shopping in the Perimeter area of North Atlanta. The parking lot is a killer! Hope you like to climb hills or steps!
