Breakfast could have been served - even a take out bag - for early flights.
Hot tub debacle
Picked the hotel because they had a hot tub. In fact I called to verify the hours. When I arrived there was one hour left on the operating hours. When I got in the tub was cold. I went and talked to them at the front desk and they said they have been having trouble with the hot tub. But they assured me it would be ready the next morning at 6. When I went down at 6 it was again cold. The manager was unavailable but I spoke to the assistant manager and all she could say was gee I'm sorry.
Location near mall and airport is good.
The room had obviously not been used or cleaned in some time. There was a stale smell when I entered, and even the bathroom counter was dusty. The lamps in the bedroom were unplugged, and there was so much dust behind the furniture I only plugged one back in. Several surfaces were sticky. The seal or grout around the bottom of the toilet was coming apart. LOTS of noise from adjoining rooms. Possibly no soundproofing?
Excellent service and facilities
We got off a cruise that morning and wound up coming in *way* early, but were take care of immediately. The suite was two rooms plus bath, and was clean and comfortable. There was a tv in each room, so we didn't disturb each other. Breakfast options were numerous and fresh - very good! The shuttle to the airport was large, clean and fast. Thank You! We will use this hotel again.
The atrium is a large open well like an Embassy Suites, and got a bit noisy during happy hour which could be heard in the first suite room as a dull roar, but the bedroom was very quiet despite this.
Kids were disappointed pool was being renovated and we we're put on a floor with a bunch of renovating as well, but after we were moved to another room and floor stay was fine.
The personnel was so accommodating, and the hotel was very peaceful. We had been taken by mistake to Doubletree Sea-Tac, and the difference in peacefulness was marked.
The shuttle to the airport and the free parking. Room was large.
Staff didn't seem very organized.
