Great location from the Alamo and the river walk, comfortable and clean room. Okay breakfast for what you are paying for.
Air conditioner was VERY loud (it sounded like a motorboat engine) and the Wi-Fi was unavailable the first day I was there.
The only thing good about this place was the breakfast. Lots of choices to choose from. It is very close distance from the River Walk and the Alamo. That was the only to pluses of the whole stay there.
The house keeping staff was very unprofessional!!!!! I placed the please do not disturbed on the door and they came in anyway. On the second day there we walk into our room to find the lady propped up in our bed on her phone, when we walked in on her she started to laugh at us and continue to talk in Spanish and walked out. They own the parking lot and still charged you $23.00 a day to park in it and long with the room charge. You did not even get a bed spread for the bed only two sheets. We ran out of tissue and never did get any more. I asked the man in house keeping if we could get some and all he said was si si and we never got it. I went to the dollar store and bought our own. I will never stay at this place again.
This is an efficiency hotel. Very old under updating and a long walk
Ok for one night. Beds and flooring were newer no carpet.
Didn’t explain that parking charge extra $17 a night. $139 total for a one star property too much even for riverwalk. Wyndham bought this so it will probably be torn down and rebuilt as other large hotels in area (La Quinta, Red Roof)
The bed bugs bite
It was a short walk from the convention center and the Riverwalk.
The room was filthy and had not been properly cleaned since the last guest who seems to have trimmed their hair over the trash can but missed. I woke up to two full bed bugs in the bed with me. The fan in the bathroom didn't work a double the bathroom was pretty moldy.
Bad smell, one towel for 2 people, roaches, bed was broken, got cut on my leg
No blankets on beds, paid parking but not enough parking spots, room service wouldn't leave me alone without signing, toilet leaned into wall, staff didn't bother helping with issues,
You get what you pay for
Great location near down town and Alamo
Loud location and cheep amenities
Near down town and Alamo. Close to conference center (walking distsnce).
Broken bathroom tub drain. Most of staff unfriendly. Don't expect much... You get what you pay for.
No desk or chair,no welcom info in room, blanked were dirty with stains, chair had stains and was badly worn, water at sink was only a trickle, only stayed one nite rather than 2.
The room smelled, no blankets for bed, my bed was broken and leaned to one side so kept rolling off to one side. TV didn't work. Called front desk they came and messed with breaker boxes in room. The breaker box shot out sparks amd popping noises. Then the attendant acting like nothing happened and I was imagining things. If you just need a place to fall. Down after drinking on riverwalk then sure it's adequate but don't expect much more.
A 5 minute walk from dennys
We were able to walk the two blocks to the Alamo and the Rivers all!
Basic Motel but basic price!
The location was great and the staff was accommodating.
I am a frequent traveler and this was about the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We requested to switch rooms because the first restroom was covered in hair. The staff was very nice and gave us a second room, which was not only also covered in someone else's hair but wreaked of cigarettes, despite the non smoking facility. This time he came to the room, agreed and gave us a 3rd room. This one smelled like old take out but I didn't see any hair on the tub, so it appeared to be the best of the 3. We were exhausted, so I didn't notice the 2 used bars of soap and used washcloth until the next morning. Disgusting! The convenience of the location is not at all worth the lack of cleanliness. When I complained in the morning, I was told they're remodelling and they'd give us a discount. I wouldn't have stayed another night if it was free. Unacceptable.
I really liked the location, we didn't have to use our vehicle to get around, we walked the whole time and we liked the fact that there was a Denny's restaurant about a block away.
I didn't like how at night soliciters came by our room and slipped flyers through the door, it sounded like someone was trying to break in or playing with the door, it scared us a few times. We didn't feel safe. And one other thing we had no knowledge that half of the hotel was on the other side of the street, very dangerous to crossover to the main office for continental breakfast.
Proximity to interstate and Alamo. Front desk staff were helpful and professional. Would recommend the hotel for these reasons.
There were several dead bugs in the room and shower faucet didn't work properly. Room had an odd odor.
We had a pleasant stay at this motel. It was very easy to find, right off of the highway andWithin walking distance of the Alamo and the Riverwalk. With a bus pass, we could get to anywhere it town with little trouble. We enjoyed the simple breakfast and the nice, clean rooms.
The morning staff was not very friendly, and one of them seemed moreinterested in her cell phone than her customers.
The location was quite convenient and the hotel presented a good value when compared to adjacent properties.
I would have prefered a wider selection of breakfast foods.
The best thing about this hotel is the location. Everything is close by and there was no need to use my vehicle to get around.
I was attending a congress at the San Antonio Convention center and the location is very convenient.Compared to other hotels in similar price range location wise it is very convenient for Convention and the 2 major attractions: the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Also close to shopping area though I am an atrocious shopper.
Breakfast included is rather frugal by American standards but testwise quite acceptable.
walking distance to Riverwalk and Alamodome
The room was quite clean and not smelly.
It lacked a refrigerator which is very much needed.Service and behaviour of staff can be improved. Quality of breakfast and space provided definitely needs improvement. Service by staff during breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.
The staff was very helpful, the hotel was very centrally located, the room was very nice and they did offer a very nice and complete continental breakfast. It was very reasonably priced
I can't really think of anything. I was highly satisfied.
staff were great with directions
need a new mattress and brighter light over the vanity
