The bed was super comfortable and the room was very cozy, clean, and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and so full of history. The two bars are both excellent. I love the location, being directly between old town and Boston Common. I couldn't ask for a better first stay in Boston.
Honestly, nothing. It was perfect!
Location was good. Pretty hotel.
No wi-fi, walls were very thin and cleaning staff was loud in the hallways- they woke us up both days. Besides the women behind the counter, no other staff smiled... literally. The bellhop, valet, restaurant staff, etc. They all looked miserable. Very strange.
It looked nice in appearance
The front desk did not do as professionally as he could have. I waited interacted with him for almost 30 minutes before he finally checked me in.
Beautiful historic hotel in a fabulous location
This hotel was stunning! We were instantly greeted by professional and friendly valet and escorted into the lobby, which is breathtaking. The history alone is what motivated us to book our stay, but the service, decor, location, and comfort of the bed is what will make us stay here again and again in the future.
The rooms and bathroom are very small, but the comfort and decor make up for the small spaces.
Expensive. Small rooms.
4 stars..... a joke!
The history of the place and the location
Superior rooms are old, small, no safe, no fridge, no water in the room, terrible isolation....and the place is worn out... not worth 3 stars at European standard! A rip off!
The staff were awesome What a wonderful stay at such an historic hotel
No free breakfast
Historic hote, in good location.
First hotel I have stayed in where elevators were something I discussed. as in "waiting 15 minutes in line to get on an elevator".
Kayak screwed up
When we arrived the hotel was sold out and did not go or our "guaranteed reservation" for a double room. We were instead offered a full size bed and a cot for the same rate even though the room sells for $50 less. Spent most of our night on the phone with Kayak who didn't care. Says it's non refundable yet how they can say it's a guaranteed reservation when clearly it's a maybe!
Horrible customer service by hotel manager and kayak. Hotel didn't offer to call around or find other accommodations for us.
Had to move rooms 3, almost 4, times. The whole situation was handled very poorly until we finally were helped by a manager. Just wish it did not have to get that far... Overall, the hotel is extremely outdated, struggled to control the temperature in the room and the walls were so thin we heard a screaming child all night. Images online are extremely deceiving and lead to a disappointing experience as a whole.
Although small, the room was comfortable and the shower quite lovely. Plenty of hot water in the morning. A blizzard was expected so I decided to check out a day early, and this was hassle free. I did not ask for the name of the person who helped me with the checkout, but she was very polite and extremely helpful. The door man and valet folks were quick to bring my car and wish me a safe journey. Overall a very pleasant stay and I was able to accomplish that which I was in town for.
I found sleep very difficult due to the noise level throughout the first night of my stay, which was a Tuesday. Many drunk people coming to rooms late very loud in the hallway and then one couple in the room next to mine arguing until approximately 4am.
Seamus Murphy is a gentleman, most accomodating and gave us an impromptu tour that was wonderful. He is one of your finest assets.
Great place. More affordable on more calendar days would be great. We'd be back more often if that were the case.
Location and the staff were excellent. The hotel was also beautiful!
Location right in middle of Boston in safe area
My room was small , which is fine, but the bathroom was miniscule. Dont' stay in Room 832 unless it costs less than $100 per night.
The Omni Parker Hotel had the ambience of what a New Yorker would expect from a five-star hotel.
Since my daughter and I drove to Boston from New York, the fact that I could not retrieve my car at whim was a little bothersome but it made us walk the city and absorb the rich culture of Boston.
We were lucky enogh to be upgraded to a suite and the hotel is beautiful and luxurious with a great service staff.
The only negative is that the bathroom was extremely small for a suite.
Location very good for evrything. Staff abd service also very good
Size of standard room very small especially considering price
central location
An excellent location. The valet parking was a big plus.
The electronic key system they use for the lifts and the rooms was a total nightmare. The keys seldom worked and has a result, one was always delayed in using the lifts and getting into your room. As I wasn't alone in having problems, taking a lift was a circus.
The location was amazing and the hotel itself was nice.
The service was not as friendly as I would have expected but it was very efficient. Also, the construction outside was an issue with dust and debris blowing into the room when I had the window open. I would have liked to have a fridge to keep water cold but there was no provision for this. No major issues though.
