The beach views are incredible. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is lovely, with a sandy swimming cove. They also provide you with beach towels, lounge chairs, and a delicious continental breakfast. I love this place and would definitely return.
WiFi did not work for the first 5 nights of our stay; the staff only gave us excuses and was not helpful. Finally after pleading and complaining as I required the Internet for work and to monitor emails, they offered us another room, so we had the added inconvenience of having to pack up all of our stuff, move then unpack again. I travel a lot and have been to Barbados a few times before, and this is by far the most unprofessional and unfriendly place we have stayed in. I wonder if its because we are East Indian or Caricom residents that we got this unfair treatment. So... We booked the hotel for nine nights. My mom and wife went first as I had to work for the first 4 nights back home. Before booking I called the hotel and asked about the extra person fee for the room and they advised it was USD 31.44 extra per night. On arriving I was advised that the fee was USD 48.38 per night extra. No problem I paid it. We had to call the front desk to get everything that should have been in the room for an extra guest even though we paid this fee. We got these things (cutlery, extra blankets ect.) at the hotel's convenience. We asked that the twin beds be arranged into King size and for two nights this was not done. The television did not work properly and after making multiple complaints, a technician came and said he would check it. Nothing was done until we changed rooms. When I asked the manager how they intended to compensate us for no Internet and a poor television signal for 7 days before we had to change rooms, also the inconvenience of moving and the untimely service, she said that she would reimburse us 2 nights of the extra person charge (USD 96.00) which I found was insulting but to close the matter and maybe enjoy part of my stay here, I said okay. When I went at the front desk and advised about the reimbursement, the person there reimbursed us for the 5 nights extra person fee which I thought they should have been the least they did, she then called after and mentioned she made a mistake and I have to come and pay the fee AGAIN (I told her it was USD 96.00, BUT she gave me another figure which I thought was the hotel trying to make amends). I had to check my credit card transactions when I got home to ensure I was not overcharged. There are other small things like a charge for changing beach towels, I have never seen that before, and the activities area only advise activities that are provided by the hotel...so many more little annoying things that made this trip annoying!!! It was also my wife's and my 5th Wedding Anniversary, it’s so sad that we are spent it there. Coconut Court has ruined what should have been a milestone for a young couple. We had our honeymoon in Barbados, it was amazing, and we have stayed at other hotels in the area and enjoyed ourselves. I travel through the Caribbean for work and have no problems. This was really a disappointing experience. . I will never go back to this hotel

The hotel is great! Loved the beach out back and it was a perfect place for relaxation. The hotel is in a central location for hotel pick ups and not but a few minutes away from Bridgetown. Great food and great location. The hotel has some work to do on the wifi for hotel guests. The internet is slow and unreliable, but there are other places around that have better wifi. The only other thing was that the beds are a tad too firm for my liking but when your tired you will sleep...besides your there to relax on the beach not in the room!
Friendly service. Clean rooms. Management upgraded our room but was reluctant to assist us in finding reservation for New Year's eve outside of the hotel which held its own event. With a little effort we secured a reservation at Champers on our own. Friendly staff but not always the most competent. Clean rooms but the windows are missing mosquito screens which are absolutely necessary. Internet extremely slow and the signal rarely reached the room. In summary, 5 star prices for 3.5 star quality.
The accommodations were like new. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view is great. The Beach View has two wonderful pools and a beautiful beach is just across the road. The Beach View is a little far from the airport (the hotel arranged for one of their preferred cab drivers to meet our late evening flight), but otherwise well located. It is on a main busy street and local buses ($1 US) are frequent and provide a memorable ride to Holetown or Bridgetown. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance and others a short bus ride away. The staff happily made reservations (recommended) for us. I can't say enough good things about this place, and we are eager to get back to recapture that Barbados feeling.
The room was huge (since it was an apartment) and well furnished. Full kitchen was great for quick breakfasts, which we ate out on on patio. Laundry was very welcome, so we could rinse and dry our bathing suits and beach towels (supplied by the hotel) every evening. Staff was very friendly and helpful, booking us excursions, dinners and a rental car. Highly recommend the Beachview.
The Beach View wasn't exactly what we were expecting, but in the end, we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Our major complaint, and something we had not read about in any of the reviews we read, is that the hotel is right on a busy road. When we went to Reception the next morning to complain about the noise, the hotel staff went out of their way to accomodate us. Natalie and Carrie in the office were so friendly and helpful in booking a car for us, making dinner reservations, etc. The breakfast staff was also extremely fun and friendly. The suites are huge and really nice with great patios. The proximity to the shopping and restaurants in Holetown is perfect. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Beach View. We will definitely be back.
I liked that it was walking distance to a lot of restaurants. It was spacious and I loved the bathroom. (I literally wanted to take it home). I also liked that the lamps had outlets in them which made it easy to charge my devices There wasn't much option of cable stations.
The staff was very accommodating. The location was great, they have one of the best beaches on the island in my opinion. I see this hotel becoming a five star hotel within a year once they complete the renovations. There is a nightclub in a walking distance and also a nightclub district within a short taxi ride. The food was good at the the hotel's restaurant as well. There are other close locations to eat as well. I recommend everyone try the fish, egg and cheese sandwich sold at a nice stand located next to the surfing shop.
Barbados is one of the best islands in the Caribbean and the location of the Radisson couldn't be on a more beautiful beach! The staff is very kind and helpful. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival, there was no room for us. The hotel was overbooked, First time experience this, Waited until they sent us off to the Marriott Hotel which was awful. Another 2 hours waited in Marriott lobby with my 12 year old until I was checked in. That's 6.30 p.m. They put us in room where the sheets stinks and cooler above us vibrate the room whole night. I asked to be changed, Marriott said they don't have any more rooms available. Sleepless night for me & my son. The next day, went back Radisson Aquatica, had to wait until after 3.p.m. to be checked in. The staff was really nice, but nice doesn't work when they overbooked their hotel and got us so stressed out, didn't even consider this a vacation. Also my son got stuck in one of the elevators, it was really scary, they had to pull him out between the floors. Radisson promised the reimbursed 1 night stay, please contact them for my refund.
After a long day of travel, we arrived at the hotel and they didn't even have our reservation. We talked to the front desk woman for about 20 mins and finally she gave us a room. Upon checking out the next morning, the front desk guy wanted to charge us more than we had already been charged for the room on the website. I clearly explained to him that we had already pains but he said he needed to charge us. I called kayak and they talked to him and figured things out. I don't feel like I should have to be calling your website to straighten everything out. You should have sent our reservation over and we shouldn't have had a problem. Luckily my phone worked because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to call. This mistake has basically made me not want to ever use your website for anything ever again.
I was really impressed with the location. The beach was beautiful and at the time we were there we could always find a great spot to hang out. Additionally, it was close to catch a bus which was our favorite mode of transportation (we took the bus most days since it was only a dollar). The staff was great and gave great suggestions on things to do, restaurants, and directions. We had dinner in the hotel one evening and it was pretty good. I wish they had more of a selection at breakfast.
My family and I stayed at the Radisson for four nights. It was a memorable experience. Hotel is very clean and the beach beautiful. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The Bartender, Jermaine did an excellent job with the drinks and he is great eye candy (lol). Our Waiter at breakfast, Selwyn was happy to share information and directions to difference places on the Island as he kept the coffee flowing. Wonderful experience and I am glad we chose Radisson Aquatica Resort. Retel It was a little too quiet for us in the evenings. Maybe a couple of nights per week they should offer some type of entertainment or have a beach party. Enjoyed the breakfast, but a wider variety of items would be nice.
Friendly staff, and clean comfortable room. Only one working elevator, and diminishing towels. Every day, housekeeping would take my used towels and not replace them. By the third day, I had 2 bath towels and no hand towels. Not a big problem, just a minor inconvenience. I'm sure if I had requested them they would have brought them.

We just got back from Tamarind after a 7 day stay. Firstly, the grounds are amazing and the entire staff were very friendly. I gave this a 4 because the room was nice , but the shower doors were a little funky and we would end up with a huge puddle on the floor. The breakfast bar was great. Lots to choose from. Was not too crazy about the lunch menu, not a lot of choices, plus had fish on two occasions and it was extremely salt . Also lots off birds show up at breafast, not a fan. Nice beach. Clean rooms. The duvet was a nice touch and the bed was very comfortable .
My wife and I stayed here May 2009. We upgraded to an ocean front deluxe room but probably should have saved the money. Rooms are not any bigger than the standard, the view is better, just make sure that you get a second or third floor room. The bushes on the bottom floor block everything. We had problems with the bathroom electrical outlet, the cold water knob in the shower/tub was very hard to turn and the hot water did not regulate correctly. The shower Water pressure was very low. Also, there was a very bad smell in one of the closets (something rotted). The electrical outlet was fixed on our third night but the water regulation was not fixed, even after talking to the manager. The reception staff in the lobby are very unfriendly and always on the offensive. Service in the restraunts is very slow expect to be there 2 to 3 hours. One night people were sitting for hours and were never served because of a staffing issue. People complained and recieved free drinks. We went somewhe...
The newly renovated hotel is just perfect. The rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant areas are also great, and the food was spectacular. For anyone traveling with teens, this is the only place to stay. The teen club was so cool, I wanted to stay in there and hang out. The level of service and attention was out of this world. They really make everyone who checks in feel like a VIP with the service, friendliness and extra specials in the room. I recommend this to anyone- single travelers, family, couples. The beach was beautiful and it is right next door to Daphne's restaurant and The House (which is also amazing). If you stay here, you will have an amazing vacation.
Tamarind is located on the fashionable West Coast of Barbados. It has a lovely beach with good facilities. The property is in excellent condition with nicely decorated rooms and up-to-date bathrooms. The restaurants serve a variety of well-prepared foods. There are three pools, but these are a bit small. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Overall, a superior choice among many good hotels in Barbados.
The location was perfect, overlooking a beautiful beach with plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. The room was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and fast to help with any needs. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of menu choices throughout the week. When visiting Barbados next time, I will definitely stay at Tamarind Cove again.
Our stay was Sept 19-23 2012. We stayed in room 337. Upon pulling up to the property I was not impressed. From the outside it looks a little raggedy. The inside looks much better than the outside! Check-in was easy, they offer a welcome Rum punch and a cold towel to cool you down(mine smelled weird so I didnt use it). The room was wonderful. It looks as if the room was renovated but you can tell overall it is an older building. No elevator. The room was a nice size, nice size bed, large balcony overlooking the pool area. Great space to sit out. The bathroom was a decent size, I didnt really understand the tub/shower door (when you take a shower water goes everywhere.) The included water sports were a great addition! Water skiing was fun! The included breakfast was also great. Some of the food changed everyday but for the most part they always had the omelet station, fruit, pancakes, bacon/sausage and breads/pastries. Wonderful way to start the day off! I just wish breakfast started ear...
The hotel was quite aged. The room the put me in seemed very old. The ac was not working properly and it had a view of the dirt lot next door. When I checked my reservation I realized I'd actually paid for a room with a balcony and this did not have one so I called down to the front desk, they did not seem happy about this call but when someone came back they said they had a room for me. So they put me in a smaller room on the first floor, facing the street, but it did have a working ac and a balcony. Just not what I was expecting for the rate I paid! Everything seemed old, worn down and dingy.
The hotel is located on one of the best beaches in Barbados and there is beach-side food and drink service for guests. We loved hanging out at the swim-up bar in the afternoons and the bartenders are very attentive and knowledgeable. The front desk staff was very helpful with coordinating taxis and tours. The hotel itself is a little run down/outdated. The lounge chairs by the pool are mildewed, the paint at the swim-up bar is chipped/peeling, and the tiles throughout are a bit dated. Also my friend Cari used the spa one day for a facial and said it was good/fair, but she had an entire second day of massage, manicure and pedicure that was cancelled on her without notice. She had asked to just re-schedule the massage for another time/day and instead all of the services were cancelled. When she tried to re-book them, she was told there was no one there to do the services. Not sure if the spa techs are just on call or what? The spa seems to be disorganized and poorly run. Also $70 US for 2 people to eat at the buffet seemed high for the quality.

We truly enjoyed the Accra Hotel. The location is great! We were steps away from the boardwalk. There are stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Transportation was 100 steps away. This hotel is very convenient. The housekeeping staff was very efficient. The grounds were well kept. It was truly a good experience. The beach was perfect We didn't care that much for the food and it was a little pricey.
The numerous nooks spotted throughout the property to welcome holiday reflection, and meditative like relaxation is sublime. An isolated compound with oceans of charm and none of the over imposed employee invasion is an original experience to enjoy for as long as you are staying in Barnados. Lush Quiet spaces, jungle pool and peacocks, are words that come to mind.
I stay at this hotel over night and was very impressed with the over all experience. The room was clean and the bed heavenly soft. The food was not as tasty, but the other amenities made up for this short over site....will definitely stay there again.
Just stayed here on my business trip and this hotel was much nicer than I had expected. Apparently it is a new hotel - and the rooms were very clean, roomy, and were nicer than when I normally stay at Hilton. Also had free WIFI - very happy with my choice, and I will be back.

We just returned from a trip to Barbados and thoroughly enjoyed the Bougainvillea Beach Resort. This was our second year visiting the resort and we found the room, service and staff to be excellent. The resort is ideally located near St. Lawrence Gap and has beautiful grounds and views of the ocean.
The hotel is beachfront, nicely laid out, comfy, clean. It does not protect the guests from taxi overcharging - the only country I've been to (and I've been to many) where taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is cheaper than from the hotel to the airport!! Taxi overall is expensive, and there are no cheaper alternatives for families. Ocean waves were all the time too choppy to swim. Hotel could use renovation.

Very relaxing, every night they have some events to entertain. Staff are all lovely and kind but not too disturbing. Also it is very clear it cares about environment which is the best thing I see in such a resort island. Bed cover (top duvet and pillow) are not washed ages and smell bad. Hope they can clean it more often.

They have two resturatants. The Waters Edge is the best restaurant on the island. There other restaurant is possible the worst. You have to request a room that you like. they will try to put you in room that has no view. so just simply request better room and they will review vacancies and put you in wonderful room.This is not a complaint but just heads up.
One receptionist, Katrina, was quite above average. Fast and friendly. For a three hours longer stay in the room on the day of departure I had to pay 75 US dollars. The hotel was not fully booked though!!!

The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is actually a great value as well, since food in Barbados is generally very expensive. We stayed at Infinity twice, first when we arrived into Barbados, and for our last night. We decided to return to Infinity because after traveling around the entire island, no other hotel offered the same value for the money. For the same price elsewhere, we were staying in shabby rooms located in far to reach places without a car. In comparison, the Infinity is a breath of fresh air. It simply has everything you want/need on your vacation minus the stress or cost. If we ever return to Barbados, my boyfriend and I would use the Infinity as our base for our entire trip. The pool isn't all that, but we didn't even think to use it with the beach just steps from the hotel. It would have been nice if we didn't have to pay for an umbrella on the beach. That really should come with the chairs. Nothing other than that.
Location was nice for walking to restaurants Would like to have had a coffee maker instead of instant coffee in room. Breakfast menu needs to be improved. Daily buffet would be so nice. the restaurant location is beautiful but underused because of its menu.
