I was a little concerned going in because I had been asked to book at this hotel and afterwards saw the one and only review, which was a bit alarming. As I checked in, I mentioned the review and inquired about the renovated rooms. The only way to get a renovated room was to pay more money, which I did not have the authority to do. I decided to go look at the room and take it from there. The room was very nice and clean, the carpet was worn, but not to the extent that the first review led us to believe, at least not in the room I was put in. I was assgined that room because I paid a discounted rate! ($118 per nite (2 nites) & $95 per nite (2 other nites). She spoke to her Manager and the Manager approved 'an upgrade' to another room. When I returned to the hotel to change rooms the attendant in turn (Pamela) was not happy about it and said that it will be done thi...
