Staff was really great , hotel was very nice and cleaning. Hotel very pretty inside and out. No complaints what so ever about this hotel.
The property is will maintained, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, up scale vibe, lux feel, great value. Nothing really negative to say of point out. We did not experience any negative situations.
Friendly staff Room service could have been faster
Rooms are close to street and car noises cant be ignored.
The location was pretty good and felt pretty safe. The hotel lied, there was no balcony there was no bath tub, the room didn't look like the pictures at all. And the bed was like sleeping on a rock.
Nos agrado nuestro estancia en el lugar cerca de centros commercials, mercados y bancos .,cinco minutes en carro..y Clark de adradables y ricks restaurantes.. Lo principal,no fumamos lo cual fuera de humo..regresariamos...
After running a half marathon nothing beats a nice hot tub with natural thermal waters It was hot in tijuana that day and no AC in the hall ways
First time I just did not like it at all they kept opening our room door just to see the occupancy but they should nock first, second time perfect
Te hotel is ok and it has a great location but is not a 5 star hotel by far, the rooms need some TLC
They always had someone who can listen to you but did not know how he/she can help cause they were limited on services. when ever you needed help they just kept you going around circles with their own experience.
the location front desk try to give another room instead of the one I had already had paid for
Great location Mattress was below motel 6 quality
Rooms were right on the ocean with a beautiful view !!! Old and out dated unit with broken blinds and broken chairs , old dishes ... Owner is not spending much money on the unit...
Everything was great , excellent service from arriving to end!!!
Cool clean quite rooms They charged my credit card in USD when I asked specifically to be charged in pesos. I consider this scamming
We checked in then left after an hour No English speaking staff. Ugly room design. Bad part of the town. Dirty elevator. No working direction on the safe box .......
Great location. Very clean fet very safe The hotel receptionist are extremely rude and not welcoming
everyone in their staff were very helpful and polite
The family Environment and hotel access. The parking garage flexibility.
Rooms clean, nice swimming pool. Front desk people very rude, took so long to chek in, they could not found my reservetion througth your agency, almost stay with out room , no early chek in , until 3 pm. Horrible experience.
courtesy from bell boys, cleaning ladies and TV technictions, each where very promt. ****The ladie in "charge" of the counter on 11/07/15 morning could learn a thing or two from the bell boys, valet people, TV technitions and the cleaning ladies on courtesy, eye contact and respect when a person is talking to them instead of using the phone and laughing loud and not attention to a simple request from the client. ***BAD MANNERS
We really loved the pool - it was beautiful with palm trees, incredibly relaxing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only a few spoke good English - but if you speak a little Spanish, it's not too bad. All the fixtures in the hotel are quite old - there's mold growing in the Moen bath faucet, the bathtub was very worn out from years of use, the floor is the fake hardwood floors that are sticky because of the heat and humidity (I had to wear my own flip flops inside - hardly the most comfortable thing when walking around), popcorn ceiling. Perhaps this hotel was 5 stars back in its hey day, but it certainly needs replacing. Of course I knew I wasn't going to get 5 star resort for what I paid, but the rating is very, very misleading.
Pool. Clean bedrooms. NO WIFI. No signal at all. Only in a few spots.
The people here were so amazing. Attentive and polite. My Spanish is decent but not fluent and they would follow me as long as I could go in the conversation before switching to English. I would certainly stay here again. Every elevator broke down while I was there and I had a room on the seventh floor. Remember that scene in the first season of Mad Men. It was kind of like that. That said I would never fault this lovely stay for mechanical failure. I will certainly be back.
Rooms are modern and casino was fun No iron, blow dryer in rooms. Took a long time to receive ajy
The construction going on across the street at 2:am in the morning.
To many student make noise until so late 3 o 4 on the morning. And dont give anything to put on whinshild off my car to show security iam on the hotel every time in on parking lot
We got a GREAT deal!! Also, they have a very attentive staff, courteous and very helpful. They have clean, comfortable rooms...ours had a really nice view, fast room service, and a nice little Casino on site. We only stayed one night and found nothing negative to say. A pool would be nice but since it was cold and raining, it didn't matter.
All you can drink beers during brunch while watching NFL playoffs. Smoking allowed.
Loved the location and the facilities. No pool, but you can do without. Room service and any requests for the front desk took hours and sometimes went unattended. That was the only flaw over my 3-day weekend.
It was cleaned room bed was comfortable Totally old stuffs special shower
The rooms are nice and bed is very comfortable The staff is extremely rude. Had to call the front desk so ice and it never was delivered. They would allow me to take sugar from the bar for my coffee I was told they would bring it up and an hour later I got my sugar.
I have to say that the place was nice. Ive stayed at other hotels in Tijuana and others look good from outside but lack quality in the room. The Pueblo Amigo Hotel and Casino has nice rooms and the room we stayed had a great bed. I was hoping for some type of entertainment there other than just gambling. Some live music would have been nice. The Bar was small and not a good place to just chill.
Made and paid my reservation online and hotel couldn't find it until I had to make phone calls and tell them teir own confirmation number, that was the only way they found my room, took about half hour to check in, promissed me an extra free breakfast, next morning different staff was there and did not even get the included breakfasts.
Breakfast buffet Carlos was an awesome member of the front staff. They were all great but Carlos really made an impression. Convenient shuttle to the clinic we were visiting No fitness center
Amazing services N/a
I love the hotel, the pool, location, jacuzzi, parking but best of all the service
The swimming pool was heated and a great place to relax, the hotel rooms were very comfortable and the buffet restaurant very reasonably priced, and there were department stores close by.
It had a pool and great staff security all around the clock Bed are uncomfortable no fridge in the room no microwave wifi is not great
I have stayed here about 6 times and this time it was horrific! The hotel is under new management and they are horrible. The front desk staff was very rude and not helpful at all. Never coming back here again
It is close to places I wanted to go: border, USA consulate, nice restaurants. Thanks to this location we discovered Pampas restaurant, Brazilian cuisine. The bathroom didn't smell good. It seems that the ventilator didn't do its job. The sink is not deep enough to clean the hands, even though it seems fancy. TV is terrible, the signal was very weak. There was no wifi signal in our first day. On the second day, it was good. This hotel is 4 star (Mexican's standard) and pricey. The quality is worse than those without star and cheaper in San Diego or USA.
A.C Was to noise
The rooms were nice n clean. The staff was very friendly. Very helpful. My stay wall overall good. The only thing was a concert that was going on somewhere near with very loud music and dj. Other that the room and location were good.
Very Friendy Staff. Excellent Shuttle service. We had a room next to the ice machine which was a bit loud but not too bad.
Is a great hotel employees are great
very clean staff were excellent restaurant staff & food were excellent
Very clean. Professional staff! Outstanding value for the money.
Great place use to be more afordable
The Restaurant, the bar, close proximity to a 24 hr restaurant, Ricardo's (a block away), a drug store a half a block away, Las Pulgas, a very popular bar thats open seven days a week around the corner, 24 hr convenience stores within a block, and a taxi is usually on sight. No pool and hot tub for guests.
Everything else was great Bed was horrid. Terribly hard!
Overall my stay was great! I live the beds and pillows are super comfy! My boyfriend loved the room he didn't want to get out!
Close to party places We have to wait till the house keeper says that the room is alright.
The hotel checked someone else into my room while I was out. My things were taken and the hotel told me that I had checked out already. My computer was of great value to me. I filed a police report and waited for 8 hours so that the manger could review tapes. Hotel finally realized they were wrong. It's been a week now and I've not heard from hotel our received my refund. (they wouldn't let me wait in my room and made me wait in the lobby for the 8 hours)
Rude front desk guy straightened out a little after I called out his bad attitude. But still quoted a taxi price double what we ended up paying- when we we for for the typical rates this year. Maintenance handy man & security were warm & friendly. Dirty room, dirty stained sheets, run down motel from 50s.. Should be charging half the price or less, like all the other hotels nearby of higher quality. Walk /drive around and ask around.. Definitley not 3 stars. 3 stars is Ticuan or Pueblo Amigo.
Location... Actually not a thing about the hotel, however the people in the room next to us, sure had a big issue quite early in the morning.
The hotel is ina very dangerous area. It has a street that goes in the middle of the hotel for real! It is very poorly furnished and not even close to be a 3 start hotel. I decided to move to another hotel.
Bilingual friendly staff, clean rooms, downtown, parking
Good location. Nice staff Let's be honest. By U.S. standards this would be a 1-2 star motel. Now clearly Mexico may have different standards. It may be helpful for your clients to know what they are signing up for.
We were given a room that was already occupied, but the lady at the front desk was amazing and wonderful and apologetic -- she fixed the problem instantly . . . by upgrading us to a suite, which we hadn't asked for! For a new building, it sure creaks like an old one . . . when somebody above, below, or on the side moves. And the windows are pretty thin for an urban setting; those late-night sirens don't make it inside at some other hotels, but they rang loud-and-clear here.
The location was great. It was right around the corner from Revolucion. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE bathrooms! Mold and mildew growing in the ceiling of the shower, on the floor in the grout, around the sink . . . And it was VERY, VERY dirty. The toilets had urine stains on them when I got there. There was no lighting in the room, and I had to use the light from the bathroom. AND THE BEST PART? (Yes, I'm being sarcastic.) The AC was a thousand year old window unit ON AN HOUR TIMER! The room was constantly hot. In fact, I asked for my money back because the hotel advertises that the rooms are air conditioned, but I was told no. If you're college kids who aren't very picky then this is your place. Otherwise, steer clear.
Nothing. Don't go there, you will get robbed. Hookers, drugs, and thiefs will rob you!! The staff is super ghetto.
Fine for my purposes. Probably not suitable to families due to a generally rough (red light) neighborhood at night. Clean, easy, simple bordering on bare-bones. I was surprised our room didn't have a window to anywhere other than the interior courtyard.
So I canceld my stay about 2 days before the trip and the card I had used all of a sudden started getting charged for things in Tijuana when I hadn't even gone to Tijuana after all
Near bars and night life Poor ac... Sink drained slow
Adrian was very helpful
Good value for your money close to airport
In general everything is fine More expensive if you don't reserve online
Staff spoke no English at all but tried their best 2 help. No soundproofing whatsoever!!! I heard everything the couple next door were doing between 1 & 5a.M.!! Had to complain to reception but they did nothing. No windows so rooms are claustrophobic (tho this seems common in Mexican hotels!) No lifts either. Long way from city centre but v frequent buses & shared taxis from right outside. I cancelled my last night!
The area Peaceful Clean Got an upgraded room Could have had an actual continental breakfast included. It was more like bread and butter, orange juice and coffee plus pastries
Love the location and the privacy. It's a safe place and kids are comfortable walking around alone. Love the fact that we can play tennis and go on a peaceful walk. It's convenient to have a restaurant, bar and a oxxo steps away from your room. We have been staying here for years. We know the staff and vice versa by now. But over the years te grounds of the hotel seem to be getting less and less maintained. The pool is always dirty and the grounds smell of manure? We continue to come back because of the privacy and the fast pass and great rates. But after years of staying here we will be planning our vacation elsewhere. Our kids are now at the age they want to be in the pool all time and do activities. It was something we passed off when they were younger but now literally everytime we visit the pool is green dirty and the jacuzzi never works and there is always something wrong with our room. We had to change rooms 4 times in one day due to broken toilet, broken tub, AC not working etc.. It's so sad this once great hotel is taking a plunge.
I liked the view. Place smells bad. The swimming pool is dirty. kitchen cabinets handle missing. Not a very good breakfast. I would not recommend to take your family to this resort.
