The rooms were very clean and overall very nice - either new or recently remodeled. There is not a place to 'check' your luggage other than the lobby if you get in early or are leaving later than checkout time.
Great location. Extremely dirty, service was awful, the room smelled.
The hotel was very clean and ideally located near a subway station. From the station it took us 12 minutes to take the direct connection to Times Square. The hotel was very nice, but the neighbourhood was not so great. We never felt unsafe though. But we knew this in advance and the connection to Manhattan was very good and the hotel was affordable because it was not located in Manhattan.
The room was filthy. Linen was dirty. Couch was broken. Yes there was running water but not much more.
Convenient location, close to the subway, room well equipped and very clean, staff was very helpful breakfast room is very small and crowded
the air blowing from the a/c smelt like feet. no tv. over priced
Price and the fact that had a room open Staff very unwelcoming. Sheets had stains on them and not mention the huge stains on the carpet. Shower conditioner was used by last guest. Upon check in was told extending would be no problem the next day, just to call down and be told no then forced to check out with housekeeping banging on my door every couple mins asking me to leave. Overall, if you seen the movie, room 1408, I was there.
Good location close to subway station and shord distance to Manhatten, good wi-fi, friendly staff small room for breakfest
Quiet ambient, good breakfast, convenient location and easy to reach. To me there is no bad point at all.
No parking. When I asked the desk for a 15 minute late checkout he said "do you know you're like the tenth person to ask me for that today?" My reply was "so is that a no?" In the end I checked out at normal time and housekeeping wasn't even on my foor.
Clean and rish breakfast. The location is not what we had expected.
Very good location, easy trip mith subway to manhattan, superb view to Manhattan skylines, enough cheap, clean, polite personnel
The service was very good.
Very good location, can easily access the subway the room is dark... seems we live in half-basement
Hotel is close to subway station and bus lines.Staff are friendly.Continental breakfast is provided; however, if you prefer a hot breakfast, there are several nice eating places within walking distance. Rooms were quiet. There is also a fitness room and access to a computer.
Every thing nothing
Staff very arrogant: did not say hello when you arrived back to the hotel. They promised early breakfast because we had to leave before 6 am. However, when we went into dining room before 6, they unpolitely saying that breakfast starts at 6 o'clock. Only after reminding that the breakfast was promised for us there found something to give.
Breakfast is good Smell of room
staff were very nice. internet was available . it was close to Jamaica Hospital view!
Very nice location close to the subway, and close enough to JFK.
There is nothing good to say about this hotel as they failed with our booking. We have used booking.com for many years to book hotel rooms in Europe and many times also in usa, but this was the first time we arrived to a hotel and they did not have our booking and no room for us. Your booking for this hotel does not guarantee that you will have a room there. We arrived at 6 pm, they had overbooked their hotel explaning that they do not have our booking. When calling to booking.com it was clear that the hotel was just overbooked and they do not check their booking records. Even though new hotel was provided it caused extra expenses and stress to travel (in an unofficial taxi) through dark Queens area. Already the location of this Clarion hotel itself was scary enough. It is also noisy during nights: like sleeping on the highway (we stayed later one overnight here: did not have booking documents either although we had done that also).
Although in a remote location it was close to subway
The position near Times Square - the bed was very big the room was small - the wardrobe was small and there was little space for luggage
Sorry to say but nothing. Our luggage (2 med sz) took up half of our floor walking space. The bathroom was tiny. I am 5'1" and didn't have enough elbow room. The entrance to the hotel was presentable until we stepped into the hallway leading to the stairs which we had to take since the ancient elevator would operate at a turtle pace. Climbing up 3 flights of stairs was a lot faster. We were very dissapointed with the room for the amount we paid for the stay.
Location was excellent Room was too small and cramped for the price.
Rooms are way tooooooooo small!!!!!!!!!! The bathroom, tiny!!!!!!!!!! The headboard on bed, dirty!!!!!! Not acceptable!!! No extras in regards to pillows and linens. Location, great!
Clean, cosy, Staff is very nice and helpfull. Small rooms.
This is a wonderful establishment where we stayed for almost a full week. The doorman was very polite, as were the receptionists. We had a few special requests, which were all met with ease. When we commented that the room was a little small they showed us a larger room, which we chose to decline. Our room ended up being perfect for the two of us. The sushi restaurant on the first floor is incredible, we dined there twice during our stay. Everyone is very attentive here. I am very excited to plan our next trip and return to this hotel.
Hotel was central to all the sights and sound of NYC we will be returning!!! Times Square a short walk from one end of the street and Hells Kitchen District packed with great bars and restaurants at the other....great Sushi place next door. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean with fresh soft towels and clean linen everyday. Car service available from the hotel to the airport was also great......most hassle free holiday I think i have ever been on!!
Great location, free wi-fi, friendly & helpful staff . Tiny rooms, hotel amenities.
Easy to find, central to metro, restaurants and bars. The staff were very good, no issues. The room was very clean and tidy and the KS bed was very comfortable. Overall I would stay again. Only two minor issues, some street noise at front of hotel and the toilet/shower are could have been slightly bigger
The size of the room was bigger the expected and the location was fab! The staff were very friendly.
Staff were very friendly, especially the concierge. Room was really clean. no complaints
The hotel was exactly what I needed it to be. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The room was extremely clean, and the bathroom was updated. I would definitely stay here again. The location of the hotel was absolutely wonderful… Close to Times Square and close to the subway station which takes you everywhere you need to go in New York City. The only con would be the size of the room, but that was not a problem for me because I was by myself. Most rooms in New York City are very small so I would not put this as a negative for this hotel.
It was the best hotel I ever when so far.
It was very peaceful and quiet. Nothing
Quick check in/out. Convenient to JFK. My room was 5 feet from Rockaway Blvd. The 1970's single pane glass windows didn't block any noise
The location. It was near the airport My wife and I had a rough...the toilet over flooded. It was crazy
The room was small. I booked a king and got a double. We looked in the other rooms and they were bigger not really sure why we did'nt get a king! The room we stayed in had a funny smell like there was water damage in the room but over all it was ok for the money.
The location is excellent. The best is the airport pick up and drop. The hotel people were very friends and gave us good tips and guided us nicely to go around the city. Though it was our first visit to Newyork, we did not feel lost as the hotel staff helped us in every aspect. A special thanks to them.
I did not like anyting about it not clean at all and really does not worth the money I paid for, As said the room des not worth more than $50 a night I paid $141 with tax. I was very much surprised when I arrive at the hotel, in a bad location, dirty and was really angry about everything. I could have paid the same amount and stayed in a decent hotel elsewhere.
I chose this hotel for its proximity to the site that I was working at. It was clean and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can not think of anything.
Too far from the underground No
Proximity to airport Breakfast started at 6:30am and the shuttle left at 5:45
Great staff! Clean, quiet room. Very limited parking
Eggs, hot coffee, fresh fruit at comp continental breakfast; updated bathroom, friendly staff, economical cost Traffic was loud even on third floor, bed was a bit hard
The nights were somewhat quiet. The rooms were to small, the Wifi wasn't working, and slow when it did.
I guess that they were kind enough to give me a bed. I waited 1.5 hours for their airport shuttle and they argued with me about how that was my fault. Their driver was rude. Their front desk personnel was rude. Everyone had an attitude and Custer service was obsolete. I wouldn not recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope their manager sees this.
Close to the airport Dirtiest Best Western I have ever stayed at. Staff was rude, rooms smelled dirty (city dump next door), dehumidifiers in hallways to help with musty smell. Floors, towels, bedding, and pillows all need replaced due to stains or holes. Felt like a Motel 6, really disappointed...
Breakfast was served from 5:00 am. Since we had an early morning flight, we were able to have breakfast before boarding the shuttle to the airport. In many hotels, breakfast is not served until 6:30 am or 7:00 am. The shuttle to JFK airport only runs hourly. It should run more often.
Limited staff, rooms have a extremely strong odor especially on the first floor. Hard to breathe inside these rooms, I was very frustrated and disappointed overall.
close to the airport, good price. breakfast was decent. better than most places that offer free breakfast. i've been itching non-stop since i checked out. bites all over my body - head to toe. i just hope i didn't bring any home with me. the shuttle only runs once an hour.
The hotel was perfect for a stop over between flights at JFK.
To whom it may concern, I was dissapointed in my stay for the cost I payed for almost $200.00 a night I would have expected the follow which was not the case: -Clean and orginized hall ways (maintainance trolly blocking path) -Clean room with a order free bath room (bath room smell was horrible) -No one else assigned to my room which at about 02:30 in the morning I had another person enter my room while I was asleep and stated they were assigned the same room! Can you imagine the embarssesment and alarm to wake up to a stranger entering a room where you are half naked and asleep. I called the desk to complain and all i got was I'm sorry! (Really!) VERY POOR EXPERIENCE, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND........
Services Parking availabilities
We had an overnight layover and an early morning flight, so the proximity to JFK and the convenient shuttle service were major considerations. The room was clean with comfortable beds, and the staff were very good, although we were unable to get a receipt because the system was running something when we checked out. The shuttle was speedy and prompt with courteous drivers. While the location is convenient to JFK (or maybe because it is), the neighborhood was such that I would not have felt comfortable going outside the hotel alone. It was also right next to the Queens Sanitation Department--that did not impact our stay, but gives you a picture. The hotel could definitely use some updating.
Comfy hotel that did exactly what it was supposed to do as a layover stop. Walls are super thin and the hotel security was in and out of half the rooms on my floor during my one night stay.
10 min to the airport, clean room and friendly staff. not a luxury place and a bit expensive.
Wifi was really spotty the first day, and the shower was installed with hot and cold reversed.
Clean, friendly staff and excellent location. The rooms were large and quiet and the beds were comfortable. Wifi seemed to work well. Bonus free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby.
Price. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Spacious. The facility felt very old and outdated. The quality of the floors, rugs, couches, shades was all poor. The floors were fake wood linoleum that moved around under your feet. The rooms need upgrades. The views out the back are straight into a construction site.
Very nice and large room. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The lobby is small and not overly impressive. The neighborhood is safe but not one of the premier locations in NYC so you'll need to cab or subway to restaurants/meetings/site seeing. Fortunately it is very centrally located. Given what I Paid for the room, I would definitely stay there again Lobby and Immediate Neighboorhood
Great location between 2 subway lines and a short walk to Penn station. Room was very large and clean. I would definitely stay here again.
The spacious room, boutique/ old style hall ways and lobby, location next to empire state building and in Korea town At 2am the vent started blowing out heat even though thermostat was set on cool. Woke up to 80 degrees in the room, had to call front desk to come check it out. They said cuz the vent system is so old, there is no varying the temp. So he just turned it off and opened the window. However it was also about 30 degrees outside so as much as that felt good in the beginning, woke up again a couple hrs later to a freezing cold room. Then I had to be up early for an appt so felt as if I got no sleep :(
Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was smaller than expected with a bathroom for handicapped persons. The bathroom door would not close properly. The bed was small but comfortable. The room phone was not audible. Wi-fi was very responsive.
got a good deal on Kayak.com. When I showed up to the hotel, they upgraded me to one of their best rooms for no charge. the room was beautiful, bed comfortble, and the space quiet. What a lovely refuge for a busy business trip! Thank you Avaol for a great stay: I'll be back! not a one!
Decent location, very convenient to 6 subway which is great to get up and down the east side of Manhattan. Very helpful staff. Not a great few blocks for bars and restaurants and nothing much to speak of in the hotel itself. Wood veneer floors in rooms are probably easier to keep clean but not very comfortable or inviting.
The next two nights they changed the room and the room was great. The first two nights room was not having heating. it was uncomfertable.
Great location, excellent price, friendly staff No issues
dinning room should be bigger
Generally it was a comfortable at the hotel. It was very easy to reach to downtown, by kust walking a few minutes to metro station and withing a couple of stop we were at downtown. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was not so good but satisfactory. We left our luggages to hotel's storage for a couple of hours in the day we checked out since we can't use the room for that purpose but we had to pay 1 $ per luggage which is unusual in many hotels.
Parking too expensive
Good location, next to subway station and direct 5min. link to centre. Staff is ok, breakfast is minimal but fine. Hotel quality overall is good. Don't buy food in nearby Indian restaurant after partying. Is to spicy food.
Great location and friendly staff The room was very small, request where not granted even after being promised and breakfast was too early.
Good connection to Manhattan and cheap. Elevators came or not. Loud people on the floor.
Very clean, friendly staff and good price
Very close from Manhattan. If your room in upper level you can see downtown
close to metro station. Nice breakfeast. Nice staff on restaurant and room maid. don't take private taxi from hotel. US$40 flat to go JFK. Front desk said yellow cab will cost more than 50!!! Not good information, despite driver was friendly.
The hotel is close to metro, only 2 mins walk and another 5min to Manhattan. 95% people lives around the Hotel are black, feel somehow unsafe.
Hotel was very nice in general. Staff very friendly, hotel room clean. Atmosphere was relaxing, it felt good going back after a busy full on day in the city. Breakfast was not so good. Limited options and service could have been better., i.e.making sure area tidy at all times.
I found the rooms clean with comfortable beds, and furniture attractive and in good condition. I found the rooms were quiet. I was concerned noise would be an issue since I was adjacent to the exit door and across from the breakfast room. I did hear the door close and open but the sound was fairly unintrusive. Some confusion re: the room cost. This might have been a KAYAK issue, but it was fairly easily remedied, and the person at the desk was apologetic and professional. Parking could have been difficult (I was VERY lucky to get a spot right outside the front door), but that is to be expected in NYC. If I hadn't gotten the spot, I would have been charged an extra $25 (per day? per stay?), a fee I was unprepared for.
We used it for our last night in New York and wanted a location close to JFK airport, with a reasonable rate and with complimentary shuttle service. It certainly achieved a tick for all three. Breakfast (hot) was also included. The room was clean and because our daughter was not yet 18 years old, she stayed with us for free. For what we wanted, we have no complaints. However, one downside was that there did not seem to be any takeaway food establishments within walking distance. The hotel got around that problem by having copies of menus from nearby food outlets. I think all advertised free delivery.
nearby the airport & JFK Airtrain Charging me $319 USD while the Total cost of my stay as per my online booking was $277 USD
A very comfortable and clean hotel close to JFK
The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the pillows are the best. We laid in bed and were sleeping within minutes. One of the 3 shuttle drivers, Darren. He was extremely rude, not only to us, but to a foreign student and others as well. He went as far as not opening the shuttle door for a kid until he, the driver, was ready. We sat in the shuttle dumb founded by his actions. We were not able to report this because we were running late. I hope he does not work there for long, he will cost this wonderful hotel many customers. He should NOT be in a customer service position.
Nothing Beginning with the shuttle bus, the lobby and our room. All was in dire need of upgrading. Everything I mentioned smelled was old and needs to be refurbished. by far this was our worst experience with Hampton Inns and we've stayed at them all over the country. Management's attitude also needs an adjustment
The Hampton Inn JFK was a great place to get some rest when you have to layover for a flight. The shuttle was a quick ride and the drivers where very friendly. Would definitely recommend this Hotel and I will stay here again next time I have a JFK layover!
Very convenient to the airport and long term airport parking. Limited and expensive parking.
Enjoyed the large rooms with complimentary WiFi. The breakfast was not in keeping with the rest of our experience.
Hotel served a purpose of being next to JFK airport with complimentary shuttlebus, reception staff were excellent and most helpful. Hotel could benefit from restaurant and the breakfast staff could do with some attitude training!!
Front desk staff was very friendly and hospitable-especially Ranata. Rooms very comfortable. 24 hr. hot drinks available and hot breakfast. Shuttle service.
The AC wasn't strong enough to cool down the room. The shower drain was flooded so when taking a shower it wound not drain down it would continue to get clogged
It was a short distance from the airport. The fact that your hotel does not hav a restaurant is not in your favour. We had to wait one hour for the ordered food to arrive.
comfortable hotel and room- very outgoing manager of the restaurant attached. the comfortable was lumpy with large balls of filling and other areas with none.
The room was comfortable; the staff was polite. It was a short trip from/to the airport. Not the hotel, per se, but, the livery driver/s tried to take advantage of our being tourists. It would be nice if the hotel had an agreement with a particular car service so that guests could trust that the car fare charges were fair.
The staff was rude. The reservation was wrong. Not enough towels for the amount of people. Small rooms. Too expensive.
The staff was super nice and sweet . The 200$ deposit that I dodmt know about . And i wasnt ableto stay due to me being 19
the hotel is 7 min. walk from the subway, and about 40 min. from Manhattan. with a price of $150 per night it's not bad comparing to $300 for similar hotel in Midtown.for travelers who need a place to put their head at the end of the day, I would recommend it. it's not exactly the area you want to hang out by night. It seem not quite safe, but nothing to do except eating Pizza or Chinese food...
Staff was very friendly & helpful, Bed was very comfortable.
Specious, clean and comfortable.
The staff is kind and helpful.
free internet services bad design at the bathroom,i hit my nose at the soap holder.
I feelt comfortable and safe berween flights very convenient between flights
Great stay! Rooms were very quiet and comfortable beds. Excellent service. Great reasonable meal at the hotel restaurant and great service! Highly recommend
Nice place Noisy the first night. Better the second night.
That room service ended at 11 and the kitchen closed at 12 downstairs at the bar. I had gotten in from the airport at just past 11 and really didn't want to have to sit down at the bar. So it was quite disappointing to find out that room service had ended.
Everything except the soap. The soap makes your skin dry like sand paper and makes you smell like meatloaf. I'm dead serious.
Beds were great. And the food at the restaurant was excellent! No pool hours during the week day mornings.
Only negative was the level of outside noise throughout the night....would recommend earplugs
I did not like anything, staff, cleanliness, location was all bad. broken furnitures.
downtown easy to acces the environment
Free parking, light breakfast, price No facial tissues or toilet paper in our bathroom. Room not very clean. However, for a one night stay, it was okay.
Fast connection with MTA Subway to downtown Manhattan. Noise from the street night over. Carpet (what's in the name!) looked extremely old and unclean.
This hotel is conveniently placed on the L subway line, when you come out of the station it's literally right there, but make sure you check that the Manhattan bound service is running. Unbeknownst to my friends and I the service was down all weekend while we were there. Fortunately we were able to find an alternate route via the M and J-Z lines, but it made travel in and out of the city take significantly longer than it should have. The rooms could be cleaner, though that could probably be said about many places. Also, the continental breakfast left much to be desired: a few donuts, pre-buttered bagels, and some coffee isn't exactly offering the greatest choices. Also, make sure you know how to get to the place if you're taking a cab from Manhattan, none of our drivers had ever been out to that area and we had to direct them, luckily we could since we had our phones with Google maps on them.
Next to the subway. Good value for NYC.
Nothing! All Staff had no matters, The room had no cleanless. Was horrible. The Smell was so bad. And the bed was falling apart. We was expecting a little more.
location was good for the money spent. it was a bathroom and a bed, that is what we needed kind of dirty, shower did not work correctly, neighboorhood was a little seedy. i reserved my room with a credit card, but payed in cash, they charged my card anyway and now i have to wait 8 days to get my money back
I liked its location and how close it was to the sub way I hated the staff and how they treated me. The man at the front desk was extremely rude and tried charing me an extra 65 dollars for checking in 2 hours early. He also screwed up our payment and this caused me to have to get money wired to the city so i could pay for the additional night. Also my car was hit in the parking lot that is covered in camera and when i went to ask him if he had footage he said summer only which doesn't make any sense. You could tell they could care less about the customer then any thing. Also we told the house keeping staff not to clean our room and we came back from being out all day too find all our underwear folded on he bed which is discussing but at least they changed the towels
it's location (2 subway station to Manhattan). The Quality/Price (incl breakfast) the carpets in the passage looks dirty and/or old
Everything. Very rude customer service only gave me one washcloth for 3 people, just horrible
The hotel was ina good location to get in and out of New York really easily. There was not enough room for breakfast, it got extremely busy as there was a limited amount of tables and chairs.
Clean and convenient. Quiet rooms and parking usually available on site. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was terrible.
Nice and budget hotel, perfect for exploring the city (close to the subway). It offers also breakfast and internet connection, which is great. We loved it :)) in general I don't have complaints at all..
Front desk was friendly and informative at check-in. Room was clean Air con was a little fickle. It was a long wait for the elevator as it usually had staff using it. Decent breakfast but split between 2 rooms- only coffee available 24 hours, not even spoons or napkins
We had really comfortable stay and the hotel was really clean specially our room and the ataffs were friendly as well.
We got a clean room on the 10th floor with a great view of the city. There are a few free parking spots right in front of the hotel but during the weekend you can park on the street all day like we did. Alright breakfast and good wifi. Great location, literally a 3-4' walk to (orange) f line train station and from there downtown is a couple stops away but also close to Astoria's great Greek restaurants and cafes. Ι highly recommended it!
The breakfast was ok, although everyone seemed to appear for breakfast at the same time and the size of the breakfast area was totally inadequate for the amount of people staying. One of the girls working there also arranged for a $10 transfer for us to JFK which worked out well, much easier than using the subway system to get to the airport The staff - the girls working there were pleasant and helpful but the men working there were so rude and generally acted like you were a nuisance to them. The location was intimidating but it was only a very short walk to the subway station. After the first day or so we got used to the atmosphere around the subway station. The carpets were so dirty and disgusting in the hallways. Would not stay there again or recommend it to anyonel
Room were comfortable and always clean ,stuff at front desk were helpfull try always for the best .... Very close to hotel the subway , next block... Well terrible worst ever traffic during the breakfast ....and variety of breakfast were really really very very poor , just american ....donuts donuts and again just donuts...
Very friendly and helpful. I needed some documents printed and the gentleman was able to print them for me
The comfortable bed , room and location. The smell of the room .
It was very close to the airport the services that were available in the hotel were very poor for the price of it.
The hotel staff and people who worked in the restaurant were all very well trained, courteous and just a pleasure to deal with. We stayed at another JFK hotel last year but your hotel was superior. And the food inyour restaurant was actually surprisingly good, fresh, well presented.
Would have loved if u Have sight seeing buses None was available
Convenient location next to JFK. Breakfast was simply stunning. We loved it. We had to leave early and they provided us with a take out breakfast which was very good of them. Surroundings less than salubrious. Very isolated, but convenient to airport
Comfortable beds allowing us a good sleep after a long flight. Swimming pool was reasonable and food at breakfast was good. Staff service was poor. Although I had paid for breakfast included, they did not give us vouchers and also tried to bill us for breakfast. The taxi they booked for us was a complete rip off.
it was quite. grate shuttle service no walking distance shops
Friendly staff. Efficient airport shuttle service. Coffee provided in room tasted awful
Friendly Service at the reception desk There was no safe in the room
Easy access to the airport & subway station. It was great that they ran 24/7 every 30 minutes Everything is good except the inability to walk to a restaurant.
constant smell of smoke in a non smoking room
Nothing I end up wasting my money and not even staying there because the front desk guy was so rude. He was ignoring me he called me stupid and my boyfriend got into a huge argument with him because he was so unprofessional and rude. NEVER WILL I GO BACK
the bed was nice, big and comfy. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Location was ideal for LIRR and Jamacia Centre
Close to shops, dining, rail stn. Asked for a taxi to take us to major rail stn with elevator (Local stn. has stairs only). Indian man arrived in car without meter and charged us about twice the price we were told it should cost. As we were in a hurry, we had no option but to accept this as a taxi and pay the price. The manager and other staff of the Hotel are Indian so I suspect that the driver of the "Taxi" is a relative.
Nothing about this place was good Everything rolm smelled like marijuana bed was hard as a rock location was not safe at all actually didnt not feel safe. Room window was right on the street and people knocked on the hotel room window i would never recommend this place to anyone your better of staying closer to jfk airport
closeness to the train station No
Cleanliness Welfare residents noisy kids-flat pillows
Proximity to our event The neighborhood was a bit sketchy
The bed, sizable room and bathroom, and cable The neighbors that were having loud sex for the entirety of my stay and the unwillingness of the hotel staff to do anything about it.
there was a fair alarm at 6:30 a.m. We did not get any information. the fire department and chief came in full gear. We were not compensated in any way for our inconvenience
The gas price is cheap $2.55 at nearest BP gas station. I like nice, kind, cordial and humble Indian staff. This location is little far from the city but close to long island market
good price for nyc, friendly staff location. fare from jamaica metro station
It was convenient for our travel, clean and comfortable. The take out breakfast was great since we had to leave too early for breakfast.
The staff, location and complimentary airport shuttle was the absolute best! Needs to be updated
It is very close to JFK, less than 10 minutes and you're in the airport, and the free shuttle to take you right to the terminal is perfect. There is no room service, bar or cafeteria to order quick meals. If the guest wants to have a quick meal it has to order by phone to restaurants nearby and it takes almost 45 minutes to get a meal.
Clean nice . Good service at the front desk Comfortable bed Good breakfast None
The staff are freindly , the location is convenient , the room is spacious comparing to the category of the hotel the breakfast :(
shuttle bus to airport not convenience for dinner,
This hotel was very close to JFK. After hopping off the plane and looking for the AirTrain, we got off at Federal Circle (the train is free when getting off here, but if you want to go into the city via train, the AirTrain is five bucks). Then, walk out past the car rental places to the shuttle buses. There are a few hotels around the HIExpress that you may be able to take their shuttle. Breakfast included hot food, such as sausage, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. The hotel was not in the best part of town, so plan on not walking to dinner. :) You will probably find yourself catching the tram back to the airport to catch the AirTrain to go to the city.
Family members stayed a night to be close to a family celebration at another location. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. WiFi and shuttle to JFK is a definite plus. There could be an improvement on the key card system for the room. It was challenging to open the door.
FREE SHUTTLE TO/FROM JFK, FREE BREAKFAST, COMFORTABLE BED, FREE WiFi
good hotel, clean and comfortable. mad sick view of the freeway. word.
Totally worth the price. It's beyond my expectation. The room is competable to a four star hotel room. Only one shuttle an hour.
The location Floor
Easy check-in and timely hotel shuttle.
Location right off of the highway. Shuttle service to mall and train station. Decent free morning breakfast. Breakfast area is congested and tight.
Friendly, helpful staff Kind of pricey for the level of accommodation Room smelled luke cigarette smoje
Breakfast, wifi Pay to park
This is a hotel you stay in to wait for a plane. The rooms are too small for extended stay. The size of thethe rooms
Good connection to the JFK airport, value for money
The breakfast was great. The free cookies in the lobby were a nice touch and the staff were helpful and polite. My room had a bath and what looked like a shower but it wasn't. It was just a bath with a shower head... odd. Because it is a hotel where people mainly stay if they need to get to the airport early, it was very noisy with people moving around from very early in the morning (i was woken at 3:30am and did not go back to sleep). Also, the location sucked. The rooms say they have coffee making facilities, but there was only decaf in the room - blearrch! Luckily, I was on the same floor as the breakfast area where there was proper coffee. There was nothing within walking distance to eat (NOT what it said on the website) and I had to order in some dinner and got ripped off by the delivery guy. :(
convinient for Airport no Bar/restaurant. Shuttle only once an hour. Had to take taxi.
Staff is very good & cooprative We have taken Taxi & Taxi Driver was very bad & Cheater
Breakfast at hotel, convenience to JFK Room was very small
The room was very small.
Price, close to airport Room was same size as the cruise ship
The slick furniture and soft sheets are a boost!
Due to overbooking (which is hotel's fault), the hotel had rebooked us at another hotel farther than we had originally planned for. Further, they did not even care to inform us about it before arriving at Days Inn in the wee hours of the night. Friendly, informative staff. Small, cramped room. But then again, maybe the room was taken up by the king-size bed! :)
not comfortable, thesre is a strange smell in the room, and water taste bad even if it's boiled.it's convenient to JFK airport by free shuttle.
There isn't anything that I didn't like. The shuttle service back and forth to the airport was quick and comfortable. The room was extremely neat and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The food was great, all of the staff, and especially Jasmine who helped me put together a special event, went above and beyond attending to all my needs and the needs of the guests that met me for dinner. The Sunday brunch was a wonderful change, and everyone there was very attentive. There aren't enough stars in the rating for this! Absolutely nothing.
It's a clean and quiet hotel. Definitely worth returning to. I wish it was near a subway or they had a shuttle that took you to a subway. Would have saved me some money with uber fees.
Clean, comfy, good price. Indoor pool was closed.
I liked that checkin was quick and painless and the room was spacious and clean. The room was pitch black and turning on the hall switch was dim. Had to use my phone to find the lamp switch.
Mattresses need to be replaced. Very noisy after midnite. Security was called. I don't know if they ever came as noise stayed loud for a long time. Also noisy early in the morning.
Proximity to LaGuardia airport with free shuttle. Neat and clean. Convenient buffet breakfast at reasonable price.
Clean and spacious Had a big issue getting the shuttle from the airport. They left us there for 1.5 hours eventually took a 4 minute Uber. Management was totally unresponsive to the problem.
Very nice, newly renovated hotel. Everything feels very modern and their staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The location of the hotel is both a positive and a negative. Very handy to the airport with a shuttle but inconvenient if you want to try to head towards midtown. The hotel does their best, however, to accommodate you in this respect.
Loved the free shuttle, all of the staff was extremely nice, rooms were clean and updated, love that we were able to have an early morning check in. N/a
Nothing I cancelled my hotel more than 48 hours in advance. After I cancelled it, I saw that they had a no cancellation policy. Since they would not refund my money, I asked them to reinstate my room. They refused to reinstate it and so I had to book accommodations at a different hotel. So basically they took my money and refused to give me a room.

Shuttle service and breakfast. Other than that the rooms and facilities were pretty ordinary. There was no bottled water available in the room nor was it available in any of the vending machines parked at each floor. The hotel shop what presumably carried closed two hours before published time outside the shop. Finally I had to purchase expensive water from the hotel bar.
