Prós: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Ryan and Anna. The location is ideal directly across the road from the beach and our room was great. We loved sitting on our verandah of a morning or evening and taking in the view.The breakfast buffet is great value and there is so much choice. We stayed here 5 years ago and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Nha Trang.

Contras: It seems somebody had been to our room when we're out for dinner because once there's a bag of cookies and milk left in the room which was not provided by hotel and once used dental floss sticks left on the sink whcih was not ours or provided by hotel, either. Quiet wired!

Contras: They say the hotel has a beach but due to the 19 floor hotel building there is actually no sun at the place where the Intercontinental has their sunbeds and parasols. So is a real bummer to go to the beach in front of Intercontinental as there is no sun. I just took towels there and walked to where there was sun.

Prós: The staff is very kind, responsive, warm welcoming and they are very professional. They attend all your needs, everything you wish for! The pool is lovely, located at the sixth floor, water temperature is perfect! My Loan from the kids club is kind and attentive, helped my kids. Vi from reception is kind , helping, smiles all the time and tend all our requests with a lot of gentle and good will.

Great location, walking distance from the main tourist areas. We had had a two bedroom apartment with amazing sea views. Very spacious and comfortable beds. Perfect for a family with 2 children.

Hotel staff were very nice and attentive overall (even my slippers were changed every time they looked a bit dirty). Staff even showed us another set of elevators when the main ones were busy and noisy. Location was excellent.

Contras: The kitchen in 2 bedroom suite did not equip with any necessary utensils. Not even plates, fork and spoons. Knife and cutting board. Housekeeping sometimes missing clearing the rubbish bags.

Contras: The only feed back I have is that the curtains had gaps around the edges so the sun crept in very early but didn’t effect our stay at all.

Contras: We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 15 nights and there is only a very small bar fridge. There is a big balcony with nice views, but no tables or chairs out there. The 3 TVs can only bluetooth music from your phone not movies (not real smart TVs). The cleaners never cleaned our coffee table. There are two hotel lobbies and reception desks, but only one can check you in and check you out (they should both do it). Some elevators did not go to every floor despite swiping the room card (fault with 2 elevators). At breakfast there are queues for everything as there is only one station for everything. Including items that did not require cooked to order. Coffee, juices, cereal, fruit always ran out. The breakfast restaurant is very big to cater for the thousands of guests staying there, so there should be two sections of drinks and food (not cooked to order). I avoided breakfast about 8 out of the 15 nights staying there as it would have been a frustrating start to the day. It is extremely noisy inside the hotel, everywhere due a certain demographic of clientele, whom are also very rude and obnoxious to the staff, other guests and to their own travelling companions. There was also a regular stench of durian penetrating the hotel.

Contras: 1/ Check out time at 12:00 noon but my key was deactivated at around 20’-30’ before. I went out for awhile and when I came back, I could not access the room. 2/ When I return the key at the reception, they told me pls wait about 5’ for their last check the room. After wait up to 15’ and no respond, I came back and asked, they seems forgot to tell us. Not Professional!

Prós: Amazing beach front location away from the cluttered tourist beaches of the city. Well set out property with two different pools and bars, a restaurant/breakfast area directly on the beach and hands down some of the best service I’ve ever encountered in a hotel/resort. The rooms have lavishly appointed bathrooms, awesome room service and turn downs and positive staff. Well organised, brilliant staff who are eager to assist and extremely smooth logistics management for snorkelling/Diving trips, easily organised spa days and dinners on the jetty. Overall, a solid 10/10 experience, I will definitely return. Thank you staff and management of the Evason, you did an exceptional job.

Contras: The only thing I can fault (and it is by no means a negative) is that during each course of a meal at the restaurant, we were approached by staff and asked how the food was. Probably over the top but their great care and service was shining through.

Contras: The club lounge in my opinion wasn’t worth it. We had to make our own drinks and sometimes the ingredients were not even there. I’d rather go to the rooftop bar and take advantage of the happy hour.

Prós: Mr Nam, one of the hotel staff met us as we arrived. He was incredible. Allowed us to check in early, have our breakfast then instead of the next day (we arrived at 7am), let us use the pool and shower facilities the next day after our snorkel tour even though we had checked out and stored our luggage for us! The breakfast was very impressive and the infinity pool is awesome!

We called the hotel and Manager was kind enough to update us of the situation. Fast forward we arrive to hotel.... 1. Staff - friendly and very efficient. Speak English very well. 2. Room - big and beautiful view from our room. 3. Facilities - they have pretty much everything you need. 4. Swimming pool - small but cute. No one was there to take laps so all good! 5. Breakfast - amazing. 6. Location - great walking distance to beach and restaurants and shopping place. Overall--- it was worth more than the dollar we spent at this hotel.

Most of them not available. My kids were hugely disappointed as cartoon channel listed was not working. They wasted lot of time as if they tries to solve it. 3. Forbuffet dinner. I asked at 8 about opening times. They said it will be open till 9:30. We went there at 9 and it was already closed. No explanation given. 4. Bathroom water was not draining properly. By this time i was tired of complaining. We had to get out pf hotel at 9:30. God knows how much time they will take to fix it.... At checkout there were only apologies and then smile.. They wanted us to wait as they send somebody to check room and see if everythibg is there. Thia is too bad for 4 star property.

Contras: My partner and I were really disappointed to find out that the pool was under repair, especially since we were told after we had paid for our stay. They had set up transportation to another hotel 20mins away which was pretty disappointing as there was only one bus leaving in the morning and one pick up time in the afternoon. If you wanted to go or leave at any other time, you had to pay for your own taxi. I tried to get a discount for our stay considering the facilities we booked for were not usable but was denied. Overall, we were just a bit disappointed at how it was handled. We read in the manual of the hotel that we would be able to get cocktails on the beach and were redirected multiple times to different bars/cafes in the hotel until we eventually gave up. Not sure if it would be better in peak season.

Prós: Everything was perfect. We got a welcome drink when we arrive and were sat in the lounge to wait for the check-in which is quick and friendly. A concierge team member, anh Luan helped us to move things upstair and showed us the room, also gave us some tips and advice for Nha Trang. All the employees we met were attentive and caring. The lifts were always available and never crowded. We were shown the V.I.P room for breakfast so that we can avoid some boisterous touristry groups. Breakfast was beautiful with a nice variety of selections and the catering staffs were always there to help and give us some filtered coffee upon our requirements. The room was clean and spacious with literally everything I wanted. The swimming pool area was nice with at least one watcher there to make sure things are fine. They were really sensible when they reminded me that my mom shouldn't go into the pool with her regular clothes and I'm sorry about that again. Also love the private beach and private tunnel.

We won a deluxe room upgrade, no words to describe the splendid seaview. Other points to mention are: the impeccable cleanliness, the excellent breakfast (it's like a banquet), the beach access is through a tunnel - something that is differential, you will find many restaurants nearby and there is also own restaurant which is very good with amazing view. Well, we had a fantastic experience in Havana Hotel, we highly recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be back.

Prós: Nice location direct at the beach road, swimming pool, gym was nice and big. Same floor table tennis and table football which was nice on a rainy day. Lots of very good restaurants nearby.
Contras: Breakfast buffet has not much choices for a 5 star hotel and sitting was not very comfortable at the bistro. Our room had a connection door to the neighboring apartment where the guests were smoking in the apartment. The smell came through the connection door and the whole floor smelled to cigarettes. When we complained at the reception, the security checked the apartment and we were told that they wouldn't smoke in the room. It was a poor answer as the smell was so obvious, but obviously this hotel has different rules for different guests.

Prós: The room facilities are new & clean. The view towards the ocean is exceptional. Plus the hotel is located right in the central of Nha Trang, where you can go to the beach or restaurants/bar in a short walk. Recommended and will come back!
Contras: The breakfast buffet is not as good value as other 5 star hotel that I’ve been to. But with that price, it is good enough

Prós: The property is in such good condition it actually feels like new. Lobby facilities and staff are excellent.
Contras: Difficult to find fault with any aspect of this property. The spacious access corridors are somewhat clinical and a little noisy with comings and goings of guests.

Contras: We couldn't reduce the temperature to below 25 degrees. Upon leaving, staff firstly accused us of stealing two glasses which were there when they looked a little harder. Also refused to refund the deposit without the receipt, which their housekeeping threw out.

Contras: My fault as I left my earphones in my room on leaving and returned a few hours later to be told nothing was left in my room. Staff kept asking me to go and check the now cleaned room and could not understand its of no use. They were left on the bed. In the end it’s my bad for leaving them. But disappointed they didn’t get handed back to the front desk.

Contras: Massage was bit rough and spa receptionist asked if I wanted to leave a tip on my credit card. Don’t appreciate being asked that. My son had the breakfast buffet and I only wanted a cup of coffee but could not serve myself since I did not get the buffet. Really, a cup of coffee?

Prós: Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Almost luxury looking interieur. A little gym with all you need for some fitness. Great buffet. Clean rooms and we got a free upgrade due to spare rooms. Not to forget about the outside rooftop pool in the 16th floor.

Prós: We really enjoyed our stay here and staff went above and beyond in their service. We were able to check in early after night bus and got an upgraded room, which was very welcome after the night bus from Hoi An. Staff were extremely helpful. Everything was perfect. The lady on reception (Linh) was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. It was my birthday on my second day in the hotel and all the staff in reception said a big happy birthday when I arrived in. Later in the day I was surprised again with a wonderful and intricate flower arrangement on my bed to say happy birthday. Lots of time and effort was put into this by the staff. Breakfast was very good and we were able to store our bags in the storage room before leaving. Linh also arranged a cheap car transfer to the train station when we were leaving. Overall this is great hotel and would highly recommend staying here!

Contras: There needs to be a proper bar for a drink in the evening, not the pool bar, which is lovely and food and drinks are very reasonaby priced. Music a little too loud for relaxing atmosphere.

Prós: Close to the beach with excellent staff

Prós: The rooms looked very nice and the aircondition worked fine. We got free sunbeds and towels every day. It’s located close to the beach and mostly all other facilities.
Contras: The fridge in our room was really bad. It couldn’t keep the water etc. cold, so the milk and yoghurt got bad after just one day... The bathroom was very small so you had to close the door to get behind to the toilet. The cleaning wasn’t the best either. We could find dirt from before cleaning still being on the floor after cleaning, such as sand. The pool on the rooftop looked nice, but there was floating sigarettes. There was little sun on the sunbeds because of the other hotels plus the rooftop was turned away from the sun aften 12 PM. The breakfast had poor variety and little amerikan and european choices. The eggs was served cold and they never managed to refill food that got empty even though there was over an hour left of the breakfast time. Since the hotel is close to everything, it’s also close to parties. There was loud music and bass all night long. We were provided earplugs, but that didn’t help much.

Prós: Family room was good enough with 2 kids. It was good that Vin mart is just around corner so we gets stuffs we need
Contras: It was our 2nd stay but we didnt enjoy as much as the 1st time. The reception area was very hot. The price is way expensive compare to what we went through. I assume that it was a high peak.

Prós: The hotel is really nice and as per the photos. However, the roof top bar and swimming pool are really small. Location is good. Not beach front thought. Airport bus stop (stop no.1) 10 meters from hotel! Lots of restaurant and massage/“spa” places nearby.
Contras: The staff could be more friendly and provide tips and options for the day boat trips. Only one option offered for a day trip and not very clear what was included. It would be really helpful to know what your options are so you can make informed decisions. There are so many islands that you feel overwhelmed and want to make sure you visit the nicest ones.

Prós: The view from the room was fantastic. Well worth the small upgrade cost. Nice big room and bed, big seperate bathroom. Rooftop pool. In a great location, one block from the beach, where they have a private area. Restaurants and bars all over the nearby streets

Contras: The hotel itself was quite ok, like on the pictures, but we didn't really like the city itself (Way too many tourists). Biggest problem was that the staff did not properly speak or understand English.
