The room decor and space were both excellent. The bed felt firm in an inexpensive fashion, but was still reasonable in comfort. The real reason for the low rating in an otherwise four star establishment was the complete lack of hot water pressure at 1030 am on a weekday.
I really thought the room was lovely--large. Things seemed updated and clean. Bed was fairly comfortable--everything worked well. Staff was warm and friendly. Cookies in the afternoon provided at front desk. First bellman didn't tell us that we could stay parked in the Handicapped Parking spot in front. Second bellman did, but a $10.00 charge appeared on the final bill. Staff took it off when I explained. Requested 4 pillows and a view as our most important request. No view and only 2 pillows on bed when we arrived. Bellman brought two more pillows after a phone call. Artwork in hallway is a series of gigantic pictures of 1950 ish dolls---creepy. Including a 5X7 framed photo of one of the doll pictures on the desk in the room. i could see one, but entire hall lined with them.
Friendly and helpful staff Clean Included wired and wireless Internet access (~8 Mbs up & down) Valet parking only ($15/day) Dated interiors Floors are creaky, can easily hear the guests walking around in room above
Very comfortable beds. Love the hip decor. Would come back again. Really Nice people. In general we really enjoyed Manhattan Beach more than other coastal cities. It's less cramped feeling and has a wonderful Beach. Valet parking. I'm guessing you could park in neighboring streets if you wanted. It's on a busy street but it's nestled back a bit so you don't feel it.
I arrived late because my flight from Miami was delayed a few hours. As I walked in around midnight, the staff helped me load up my suitcases into a trolley and directed me to where I could take my dog out for a walk. I ordered a breakfast that night for sometime between 9:00am and 9:30am the following morning, and it arrived promptly by 9:05am. The staff also allowed for a later check-out at 12:30pm to give me time to maneuver my belonging and dog. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend. They stopped serving food for room service pretty early.
Love the idea if complementary cookies. I didn't eat any but the idea is great. Thanks. They nickle and dime you on the breakfast. $9.99 for a bowl of oatmeal. Nooooo! So sad. $30.00 for the two of us to have eggs, sausage and potatoes. Really. And the OJ was a separate charge, ouch.
We loved the location, cleanliness, size of the room and price. Room service- the breakfast was awful! We didn't eat all of it because it was a soggy wet fried egg sandwich with rolls of lunch meat and wet uncooked spinach. Honestly don't get breakfast there. Also the front desk girl didn't make eye contact or smile once- not sure why but that got to me.
Overall we loved the hotel and will go back. Very clean, comfortable, quiet. Nice restaurant/bar upstairs. Courtyard peaceful. Staff very friendly. The paintings of the "Barbie"-like girls in the hallway were odd.
The staff couldn't have been nicer and it made the stay that much more enjoyable! Highly recommended and will stay here again!
The hotel has many positives such as: clean surroundings, friendly staff, great food, free wifi, & an inexpensive valet. N/A
I though the hotel's location was cool, off the main road but still tucked away and private. And the rooms were comfortable and newly renovated. I didn't like the rooms lay out. (No foyer or hallway to separate the room door from the sleeping area) You see the light leek in from under the door and the foot traffic in the hall feels very close as you lay in bed. Also the robes were only a large and fit me more like a child's robe than one for an adult.
the ambiance, proximity to the strand/beach, complimentary breakfast, overall service was good. it has the "cool" factor of the club atmosphere at the front desk. however, it is sort of unsettling checking in late in the evening in the middle of the club, without being all done up and all the clubgoers are sort of checking you out while you stand at the front desk. i recommend trying to check in before the night life begins there if you are at all self-conscious. i like the complimentary use of bikes and beach chairs. when we arrived our room was extremely hot - even the bellman commented on it. However, after 2 hours the a/c was still not working to get the temp down. We called to front desk at midnight and said we would like to change rooms in the morning. the next day no one contacted us to see if the problem was remedied. the a/c system is strange - it cut on and off all night. in the middle of the night it was very hot in the room but by morning it was freezing cold. the temperature never stayed consistent. it was a very disruptive 3 nights of sleep with the constant temp changes and the clicking and humming of the system turning off and on all night (approx every 20 minutes).
Location, room amenities Expensive, no complimentary waters in rooms or glasses (must be requested from front desk), couldn't get logged onto the wireless internet network in the hotel, loud party til 2:30 a.m.
THe desk staff was very attentive and accommodating.
- the staff were very friendly at all times - the location of the hotel was great, Manhattan beach and the surrounding area are lovely and its an easy 30 minute drive to central LA - it was very busy, the foyet doubles as the bar which was constantly busy with parties, this meant that there was nowhere for the hotel guests to relax or sit with a drink - the lighting in the room was very dark and due to being overlooked by the main road (ground floor) we could not open curtains to enjoy the sunshine, it began to feel a little depressing in the room!
We loved the location. And we loved the quiet professional attitude of all staff- everything done with a smile and curtious attitude. Extremely service minded- which made us feel valued as customers and we will definately stopover again.
Staff were very helpful and location was perfect. Close to all the action yet quiet. In the evening you had to enter hotel through lounge bar which at weekends was packed so not ideal with kids.
Very dark and claustrophobic rooms. The colors are dark for a spa hotel. And very noisy. We don't call a spa hotel just because there is a tub in the room. more "willing to help" personnel instead of pretentious trendy ones. we request service.
The room was relaxing and comfortable. It was perfect for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. The price was a bit much for what it offered but I was willing to pay becuase of the location and it was a nice place to stay at.
great breakfast included. airport shuttle was very convenient. staff was friendly. bed was comfortable and everything was clean and up to date.
Everything in the hotel was nice. Shower was clogged enough that the water reached our ankles. Unhygienic and disgusting.
Location close to airport, breakfast included Rooms were average, lobby more like a budget hotel, mildew in shower. It took 2 phone calls and a 45 minute wait to get picked up by the shuttle bus from the hotel 2 miles away. There was no restaurant on site, a very mediocre fitness area, and no pool, despite ads to the contrary.
Friday morning there was a breakfast buffet with egg and sausage patties, waffles (cook your own) , muffins, fruit, coffee, fresh fruit and various waffle toppings. There was instant oatmeal and dry cereal with milk as well. I'm sure I might have missed a few items, but I was very satisfied with the choices. Ample tables and chairs to accommodate everyone who choose to stay there. Bring a tray from the room if you want to take it to go (breakfast in bed?). Warm room. There were too few stations on tv and only one chair in the room, but I'm sure I could have gotten another one if I asked. Wifi was spotty on 6th floor. Parking fee of $15 was unexpected.
Close to airport
I called hotel 3 times and shuttle never came at airport. I had to wait for 1 hr finally I took a cab to hotel DO NOT take this hotel if you want shuttle from airport.
the location and being close to the airport for an early morning flight The hotel. The dirty worn out wallpaper, the broken AC units, the bathtubs that don't drain durning a shower. The hotel smelled like old cigarettes and the carpet in my room was dirty with crumbs. The pillows are all lumpy and half the size of a standard pillow. We requested different pillows but we're given the same type of gross lumpy pillows.
The staff is friendly and the building itself was pretty quiet give its proximity to landing strips at LAX. The exercise facility is quite nice. The express breakfast is limited, but gives a few options. My room was not clean--and frankly wasn't ready when I checked in at 4:00 pm (no bath towels). Toilet didn't flush well. Water didn't drain well in shower.
Called ahead to let them know I would arrive late. They said no problem. When I arrive they gave my room away and instead of 2 beds we got a bed and a pullout. Not OK. The first room they gave us had no water pressure so we had to move to another room. The front desk attendant had absolutely no remorse or empathy about the situation. Terrible service complete and total liars...
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE STAFF.....from our late check- in to shuttle arrival at LAX. Having limited knowledge of the vast local area, we chose this hotel because of the Wyndham name and its location to the airport. Each and every person of the staff treated us professionally, pleasantly and with a sense of real care regardless of the job description. Hats off to this team!
Easy access, comfy bed, great amenities (tea, coffee, hot water in the lobby), friendly staff The shower head and towels need updating
Super amazing beds! Breakfast is decent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Climate control didn't work in room, I don't think it worked on the entire floor so be sure to ask about it when you check in. Hair dryer was from the 80's. Parking for $15 seemed excessive.
Location for business was excellent. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room had a lingering smell of body odor. They had tried to cover it with lots of fresheners but it was always there. Also room was bit tired looking. Needs some TLC.
staff at the restaurant was extra-attentive and well-trained nothing
My entire reservation was screwed up. The front desk clerk said that I had a one night reservation eventhough I could show her the itinerary that I booked. I also booked a room with 2 beds and got one with one bed. They also didn't mention parking and internet are not free in the kayak reservation so they tried to charge me more when I checked in. Horrible experience. But the main lobby bar service was excellent.
We stayed in this room the Friday after Thanksgiving and got a good deal. When we checked in, the front desk employee informed us we had $50 worth of hotel amenities we could spend on drinks, food, etc. We had room service for breakfast and it was awesome.
Location, staff was very accommodating , beautiful grounds .... Only one bad experience.. but I so enjoyed my stay that I will not mention the big mistake a ( single) staff member made ..
CHAMP! The team members were those friendly surfer dudes. You wanna authentic SoCAL experience, go to this hotel. You are going to get it. The walk-cross-street to many good restaurants, and a beach that is rightfully down the street make it even better. A strong recommendation!
convenient location by the beach, friendly staff, free parking, comfortable rooms, several restaurants within walking distance many rooms now have large showers (no tubs) really enjoy the sea view
Close to LAX, Mall and the beach, ease of access to LA /room a little clear at night, but n big deal
The check in was seamless. The rooms are clean and quiet. Surprised by the amenities. No airport shuttle
Good location, clean, friendly, the included breakfast was quite good.
Hotel staff was outstanding; from valet, front desk & concierge all the way through to pool attendants, room service and bell desk.
Nice place, but not worth the Ritz premium. I would stay at the JW Marriott in Santa Monica next time I'm in the area.
Staff is great, and generally a very nice hotel. Doesn't live up to our expectations based on previous experiences at other Ritz hotels. It feels tired, not as luxurious as others, and is starting to show some age without upkeep. A simple example would be the pool has cracked tiles and feels rundown.
the location room service food. the french soup was disgusting. There was also no glasses in the room. time it took to get the food valet parking took 15 mins to get our car
I can't begin to find words to express how much we enjoyed our stay at the Marina del Rey Ritz Carlton! We arrived on a Wednesday morning with a sick child. The staff immediately took charge helping to get us situated with a room and going so far above and beyond ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. From the person who greeted us to take our luggage, to the valet, to the front desk staff to the wait staff in the restaurant and the gift shop (which opened up for us to get us meds in the middle of the night) to the manager who followed up even after we had left their hotel, every layer was kind, attentive and fantastic! They honestly made us feel like we were at home with family who was concerned about us. What a fantastic experience! T
I like the avalibiliy of the staff For a younger crowd in there 25-30 age it's not an appeasing hotel it's more for older crowd like 50-60 so for me being a pro Olympic athlete and being 23 yrs old I didn't enjoy it that much
I liked that the hotel was near the water, close to a concert I was attending. I booked this hotel because they had balconies and it was near the water. The balcony was closed due to renovations. The bath tub was small , hotel was a little outdated. Not as special as a experience as I was hoping for
Marina Totality , needs upgraded , bathrooms , amenities , need more restaurants .
Huge rooms deigned and furnished lavishly. A bit too far from any touristy attractions. Not a walking hotel b
The room was ready and clean! The staff were friendly and attentive. We were only there overnight but it was very nice, quiet enough and clean (which to me is the most important feature)! Nothing, it was all good
Location and good price Front desk staff / accounting staff are incompetent They double charged for the room and then didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I'm sure it will get refunded sooner or later but just a hassle. First and last Ayres hotel stay
The room was really nice Well satisfied
It was a peaceful getaway for me and my wife. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Room service was magnificent.
Nice decor and great location Charge for parking which is ridiculous. Girl who checked me in was a bit rude
The hotel is right off the freeway, and the location is amazing. There is a gas station adjacent to the hotel, which was great because we just walked right over to buy some waters.
All Pay for parking my car
Everything!!! Parking charge.
The look of the hotel is very cool. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice bathroom area.
Clean, and luxurious feel. Easy access, and only minutes from Manhattan Beach. Restaurant was mediocre.
Clean, spacious, nice amenities. Close to freeway and airport. Lack of nearby attractions. Far from downtown and other tourist areas/attractions.
Nice staff. Some rooms can be quite an extended walk from the elevators.
Liked the room. View was beautiful. Didn't like paying for parking and getting a 100 fee that they say is mandatory after paying 170 for a room that was very pricy,
For the price, the hotel was excellent. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was walking distance to the main attractions in Hermosa beach which was nice. The rooftop pool was great and the view of the sunset was awesome. I feel like the hotel nickel and dimed the guests for everything. The bathroom products were cheap and left my skin and hair extremely dry. There were bike rentals, but they were 20-30$ for the day. Parking was 30$/night. I generally felt like the staff was overwhelmed as well.
The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were FANTASTIC! (The even helped us find a pizza place open late to get a late snack). Everything was in walking distance, we didn't take our car out of the garage once! N/A
View Could not change reservation when plans changed. Awful
Coffee machine in room but no ceramic coffee cups provided to use it. Told per IHG platinum member could not use club room with free breakfast because rewarded with bonus points.
I loved the all around look and feel of the hotel. It was clean, the staff was hospitable, and the room was amazing. Parking in the parking garage was an additional $125 for the 5 nights I stayed and was not disclosed when booking the hotel.
Room service and housekeeping had the best customer service at of whole hotel! It looks like a hospital. No one greets you or shows that they want to be of service. I was looking forward to a bath after long conference and when turning on the water a huge clump of hair came out of drain and killed it for me.
House keeping staff are friendly and quick at preparing the room. Check in staff was friendly and it was a quick process. Clean room with a lot of space and giant mirror, balcony and fridge. The fitness center is a small room with mainly cardio machines. Please add some free weights. The elevators, vending machine and ice are located in just one area of the hotel; my room was literally 88 rooms away from them. The bathroom next door had a pipe issue that would make a huge noise every time the guest was using it and woke me up several times at night and in the morning. At check out, the front desk lady was in a hurry and unfriendly (I didn't catch her name but she was red headed with eyeglasses).
I didn't get the room I reserved, I paid for ocean view room and I got a street view room
We had a very nice stay and will return in the future. Our son and family were also there and we all found the hotel to be helpful and attentive to our needs. The location is great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the staff to be very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. 5 stars. We also did NOT like the parking fees, but with that the only negative it's not such a big deal.
We love this hotel and this was our second stay in 4 years. We love everything about it and the staff is exceptionally friendly and wonderful. The only complaint was this was booked through Kayak and we booked a "Premier Oceanfront Room King Bed". It was confirmed and stated on our confirmation in three different places. Upon arrival, they had us booked in a double bed oceanfront room (not premier which is the 2nd and 3rd floors and not a king bed) and they were adamant that was what Kayak booked us in. When we showed them the printed confirmation from Kayak they gave us the Premier Oceanfront King on 2nd Floor. Anyone booking through Kayak should absolutely call the hotel to confirm what they show you are booked in prior to arrival as obviously there are some issues there when booking through a third party like Kayak.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and the views are just breath taking on ocean side Marina side room by parking lot on 1st floor. They need to build that up with plants for privacy. People walking by looking in, noicey from people and cars. We had the staff move us to another room or we were leaving. They almost lost a week long customer when all it would take are some trees, hedges and plants for privacy. You can't see the marina anyways from the 1st floor
Location Parking and amenities fee
Rooms, bathrooms and hotel need to be remodeled.
We loved the very cosy 'livingroom' bar with fireplace and live music....and Baleen, the restaurant and bar, also with live music was very nice!
The lobby and seating area are lovely and a nice place for a quick breakfast or glass of wine in the evening. The room categories are misleading: the hotel is behind a breaker wall and therefore on a canal not oceanfront.
The hotel looked as though it had been remodeled fairly recently. It was well designed and had a very cozy great room/lobby with a fireplace and a bar. The rooms were large, clean and very nice. We had an amazing ocean view and the front desk upgraded us for free. The restaurant across the parking lot is part of the hotel and was delicious. It was a great place to spend our 6 year anniversary.
Valet attendants were great Front desk employess very very very careless and non hospitable
Had to pay extra for parking, breakfast and Internet. Internet starting dropping every 20 mins one day even after paying. Lost my dry cleaning for three days. The phone did not work and I had to tell the front desk three to four times before it was fixed. The gym is tiny. For this price surely these should not be issues.
The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the ocean. Very nice staff. Room was very close to outside pool and jacuzzi and had to listen to people in the jacuzzi talking until midnight.
clean & comfortable some of the lights didnt work, like the vanity mirror in the bathroom. the tv wasnt in HD..wifi also scared me cuss it might charge $11.99 ice machine on our floor was broken as well.
Stayed here at the tail end of our honeymoon. Beautiful in-room finishes, modern yet charming. Ocean view rooms with views of a colony of cute barking sea lions, complete with sailboats passing by! Spectacular. Would stay again.
Vibrant lounge with a nice view of the marina. $30 valet only parking option!! Weird odor in the room
My husband and I had a fabulous stay at the Marina del Rey Hotel. Our room had a amazing view of the marina, was very well appointed and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to that part of LA.
Ambiance was great from the beachy/sea vibe in the lobby with the "flying" seagull sculptures hanging from the ceiling a wonderful scent machine in the lobby that makes you feel like you are at the beach. Very romantic setting at the outside bar complete with couches and fire pits. Beds were super comfortable. $30/day for valet parking is a bit steep when there is plenty of parking around the hotel. Give an option for people to park their own cars, even if you have to charge a fee.
We loved the view, facilities, great beds and location of the hotel. No complaints.
The remodel is first class. The front desk service was fine. The dining was terrible. Slow inattentive service, overdone steak, raw salmon, overpriced.
I booked a handicapped accessible room online and when checking in they had no record. Other than the booking problem I thought it was an excellent hotel.
I've stayed here twice. Both times were great. Clean rooms and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Pillows a little flat. Clean modern feel establishment. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice continental breakfast. If you have the time you can monitor the rates and save at least $20 off the normal daily rate. Love this hotel. Will continue to use as my primary place to stay. If you aren't familiar with the city it can appear to be a bad area. It's really not bad but it's definitely not Beverly Hills. All the major fast food places are in walking distance. Close to the airport and freeway. Needs to put a microwave in the lobby with continental breakfast.
One of the best Hampton inns I have stayed at !! Have stayed here 2x's and will return
Very clen, good breakfast and friendly staff.
Check in was super fast. Parking was free & in a gated parking garage which gives peace of mind. Hotel looked updated and clean. Room was clean and roomy. Bathroom was telling perfect size. Wifi was free which is always great. TV worked well. The hotel room bed was super comfy. And the breakfast in the morning deserves a 5 star rating! Shower was probably the only downside.. the water was luke warm at its hottest & I didn't like the shower head water settings.
We booked through a travel site and Hampton Inn staff was ill-prepared. Although we paid for three nights, Hampton Inn checked us out after the first night and I had to check us in again. Moreover, we were charged again for the stay even though we paid up front through the travel site. Getting our money back or to even get Hampton Inn to recognize the error was a nightmare. We recommended Hampton Inn to our relatives who were also staying for the Thanksgiving holiday. Because of my wife and I, Hampton Inn booked four rooms. Never again! We will never stay at a Hampton Inn again.
I had a flight in the early morning so I stayed here for one night. Room was spacious, clean, and convenient. Price to value was perfect. Free secure parking but you have to walk back down the parking lot and enter the building from the front instead of through the parking lot. The best thing is that it was 8 minutes from the airport! The area was a little sketchy and not a lot of food options near by. The woman at the front desk in the morning could have been a little more helpful. We left our car keys and room key in the room while rushing to our flight, and we had to wait for her to "finish her transaction" in order to get the keys. Breakfast eggs were not fresh and you could taste it but there were plenty of other options.
Everything was wonderful. The rooms are nice spacious and clean. The service was excellent. the breakfast was hot fresh and had many items. The indoor heated pool was very nice for the kids as we went in December and the weather was a bit chilly. Parking is free and the attached garage has plenty of space. Nothing
Staff very friendly and accomodating. Was having work done on my apartment and needed a place to crash. everything was fine
I liked the location. I reserved a non smoking room with a KING bed. I did not like that the room we were checked into smelled strongly of paint fumes. When I asked the clerk if she could change our room she booked us into room 226. This was a smoking room with only a full sized bed. When I spoke to the clerk about how usually I was with the room change, I was there was nothing they could do about it since I booked through a third party. I was very displeased with the staff and the lack of accommodation.
The room didn't have a refrigerator.
The room was clean and the desk workers were courteous. The hotel shuttle only runs until 8 pm so we had to take a cab from the airport after our flight arrived at 10:30. The continental breakfast was also on the skimpy side
cheap, clean advertise hi speed internet but most of the time it didn't work at all
I liked the location The towels, sheets, and overall cleanliness was just horrible. Our towels had crusted brown stuff on them, sheets had black marks and the comforter in a non smoking room had cigarette burns and smelt of smoke. The walls had holes in them and the upkeep of the property was obviously not a priority.
The location was great. The rooms were updated and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. No complaints. No complaints
Needed a place near the beach and didn't want to spend a lot. This place was greate for just that. Location and price! It's getting old and they did some upgrades, but they weren't low budget.
Centipedes and spiders Were found and killed in the room. We told the front desk clerk at checkout but there didn't seem to be much concern. Don't think we'll be coming back.
It was right across from the marina. A beautiful setting. Convenient to restaurants and nightlife. The staff was very friendly. The room was immaculate and clean. I enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend it.
Room was nice and clean Parking for $37, valet only was a rip-off!
Service Rooms not ready for check in
The lobby, close location to Venice beach and the bar were quite nice. Staff is accommodating and nice. Rooms and interiors of the halls were old, carpet is definitely old, and the lounge for elite members is tiny (cramped seating). Really small outdoor pool.
Parking fee not included in stay
The service and staff were great - hotel is very nice!
When we arrived at our room, the door was open the room was being cleaned. They gave us another room, and it was very noisy we were put right next to the laundry room. Early in the morning, we were able to hear the water pipes. :(
The convenience to the beach. The hot tub did not work properly. The day evening staff was to friendly. The breakfast could had been a little better.
I like it just it was near to Beach and Near to Airport. The over all look is not good. When I was booking I saw the online picture which seems nice but when I got there it was like an old guest house. People are not nice and I think it is run by a family who also lives there. The breakfast is just a Junk. The room was dirty and the furniture was old. The bathroom was terrible. I would not recommend any one to take a chance to book in this hotel. You will be disappointed
It was reasonably priced and the outside looked decent parking was free there was some decent options for the complimentary breakfast the front desk worker was nice There was hair all over the bathroom floor, no mini fridge, the giant jacuzzi in the room looked like it should have stayed in the 70s where it probably came from. We thought of trying it out but the plug wasn't doing its job and it was probably a life saver the Jets looked moldy and gross. The tv wasn't working. I need to use the comp in the lobby for a quick question aire for something and that had a window open that wouldn't close or allow me to use the internet how frustrating!
Close to LAX and the beach When I first arrived they asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room. I tilt them that I wanted a non smoking one. The room I got had an ash tray outside and reeked like cigarette smoke. Also the last day I was there someone broke into my car and stole a bunch of items. I asked if they could review the security footage and they said that they wouldn't be able to do so till Monday! Oh well I guess you get what you pay for when traveling. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra and go somewhere nicer
Nothing The carpet was filthy, felt wet, and had huge burns in it. The room smelled terrible. No amenities, the tv was ancient, and there was no privacy. The curtains were transparent so people could see on the room. Do not stay there.
Price was okay. I paid for my stay in advance and when I arrived at the hotel, I was told they were sold out. They scrambled to find me a room and then when I got in the room, the bathroom was not clean with old towels on the floor and someone's flip flip flops. There were no shades in my room, broken desk, broken bathroom door, no mini fridge as promised and worst of all mold/mildew in the shower. Also, they ran out of towels, shampoo and conditioner. I switched rooms the next day because of all of these issues but they pretty much remained the same so I checked out 6 days early. Also, there was one super rude guy at the front desk with the worst attitude. I will never go back here. Terrible experience.
Close to beach Smelled a little funny, maybe to much cleaner
Nothing They told us the day we got there that they lost our reservation. I don't know whether to blame kayak or the wave but what a horrible experience.
They gave us a free upgrade to Jacuzzi room!
The room was newly remodeled and very clean!!!!
Owners were the nicest people, they took the time to tell us all about the city and what it had to offer. They gave us tips on where the best restaurants were and beaches to go to. This is the only place I wanna stay in Manhattan beach.
The interior is nice and free parking was a huge bonus. Nothing fun within walking distance that I could find.
The room was clean and modern. But it was so small that I had to leave the room to change my mind. The tiny room had a desk but no outlet nearby and the chair barely fit up to the desk. No place to hand wet towels to dry or put bags. We were given a corner room to the street so had a LOT of traffic noise at all times. Was OK, but would try some other place next time.
Perfect for price. Close to airport. Super clean, super new and modern, comfy. Would stay again!
