Didn't realize it was a dog friendly hotel. I wish I would have had the option to be on a non-dog floor. Difficult to find pool.
great place. A real nice place on the strip
Awful / no view
Staff was excellent particularly Llelani.
"New" or newly remodeled hotel and the ac in the "living" room made noise in the bedroom that literally sounded like a jackhammer. Pillows were bricks but they sorta fixed that while we were there.....it's a trying to be trendy, darkish hotel with rock and wood that could be cool. Strange music playing 24/7 at too high of a volume. Smells like an Abercrombie and Fitch store ALL the time.....not sure what they are going for here but it's strange. I have stayed at Mandalay before and would go back there before staying here again.
Newly upgraded room were gorgeous. Front desk girl, Asia, was very professional and friendli.
The woman at the counter upgraded our room and gave us a $20 credit just for chatting a bit with her. Very friendly people at the front desk. The room was incredible. We had a half-bath off of the dedicated living area that I didn't even know we had until a little bit before check out. The view was breathtaking and the bed felt like a million dollars.
Construction EVERYWHERE and getting to the front desk requires going through a maze of hallways unless you know their hidden shortcuts. They unplug the ice machines and pretty much disassemble the hallways in the mornings. The snack machine ate my money.
I liked the bed- very comfortable... I liked the space of my suite I liked that the maid wouldn't let me back into my room w/out first checking to see that my key card worked I liked that it was quiet I liked the lounge restaurant I like the bell staff as well as the staff that checked me in.
I didn't like that I couldn't enjoy it in all it's splendor due to the amount of construction taking place.
Hotel is under construction, so it is not as luxurious as expected for the cost.
The room was very spacious. It was our anniversary and they upgraded us. Corner room so we had extra windows and more than one view. The bathtub was very large, the shower was great. The bed was so comfy, never heard a single neighbor, I liked that it was separated from Mandalay Bay and right near walkway to Luxor and Excalbur, didn't have to walk through casino every time and the line to check in was very short. Overall I was very please (except the no HDMI allowed on TV's)
The TV's were meh - mediocre reception - looked like analog on nice flatscreen TV's and they blocked off all the HDMI connections so I couldn't hook anything up to the TV. I hate that. Seriously - if I choose not to stay there again that will be the ONLY reason why.
