Pretty far from strip. Beds are lumpy. Rooms are very basic.
Check in process, not friendly and in a hurry. Did not brief us about the amenities until we asked questions about them. Clerk seemed irritated by our inquiries.

We were traveling from San Diego to Michigan. The hotel was a welcoming place to stop on our journey. We had a wonderful meal in the Zenshin and breakfast at the Garden Buffet. Everyone was very friendly.
The atmosphere was very nice the employees were very helpful.I would definitely stay here again when I come back.More frequent shuttle service to the airport and from the airport to the resort when you flying a more frequent shuttle service to the airport and from the airport to the resort when you flying get there you really don't wanna have to wait 45 minutes for shuttle.
Everything in one place. Movie theatre, bowling, spa, food and great value for all! Felt ok having kids in Vegas here since off the strip and lots to do in one place. Smoke stinks but that's vegas.

We stayed for the weekend and we enjoyed it. Rooms are clean, friendly staff, several restaurants/bars, and not that far from the strip. My family and I had a good time. I would recommend it.
Friends and family came to South Point for the annual Buckles and Barrels for Bailey barrel race. I have stayed here many times before, and the staff is always first rate! Equestrian facilities are fantastic! Thank you for another great experience!

South Point is my preferred place to stay when I'm visiting Las Vegas. I have stayed at South Point many times and have always enjoyed it.
No Keno. I miss playing Keno during Breakfast. Resort Fee.

Price is very fair, large rooms
The first room we were assigned didn't even have beds and the bathroom was thrashed. The registration desk changed our room no problem. Rooms are large but they need better beds.
The rooms were clean and the garden buffet was a great place for foodies!!
The hotel charged a separate $14 amenity charge per day for wifi, shuttle, print services even though I did not use it at all!! I did see the notice near the checkin counter. However, it was not clarified that the charge would be mandatory. I was upset about it. I would have preferred them to either include it during the reservation itself or make it clear during the checkin. This was clearly a hidden charge and I am clearly not happy about it.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds and at least one good, reasonably priced restaurant on site; away from the strip.
Resort fees? It was a bit pricey for being as far from the strip. Make sure you know how far you will be traveling to go to the strip. Staff was curt and at times seemed annoyed.
Room was very clean and nice size. Buffet on Friday night was good and well stocked. Gaming area was clean and staff were all friendly.
$14 resort fee was not worth it.
