We liked the indoor pool a lot and the location. It was right next to a park where we went tubing.
I didn't like that it did not have a microwave and fridge. We needed the microwave to heat milk and stuff so it was very inconvenient without one.
I thought staff was nice and efficient with all of our requests. They allowed us to check in early which made our stay much easier.
Nothing it was a great trip
Rooms were comfortable Parking was free Room service was swift
Walls must be thin, you can hear everything. Food was a bust. Night club cover charge/club wasnt all that.
Convenient location. Montbleu is always our favorite casino so it was very nice to be able to just walk downstairs and it was also very close to Harvey's, Harrah's and Hard Rock, as well as our favorite restaurant Lucky Beaver.
The view from the room wasn't very nice. We were on the 8th floor but facing the parking garage. You could see the mountains in the background but it wasn't the best view.
NO HOT WATER IN SHOWER AFTER A FEW MINUTES BARELY WARM EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT
Good location..new rooms are very nice
kids menu at Café del sol was great. Pool is nice and they have done a lot of renovations since the last time I was here (2012). Good food and drink specials during football Sunday.
Overall a good experience, but there were potentially a lot of add-on charges: $20 to check in before 2:00 $20 per day for mini-fridge. charge to check out past 1:00 $20 resort fee in addition to online price.
The room was not very well cleaned. At the end of your stay no matter what you have paid for previously, they will charge you additionally 50 $ for every night you stay there. They trap you by signing a paper at the check-in.
Overall comfort, view was great. Bathroom was very nice
Value for your money. The hotel is nicely located and very clean.
Lock dinning choices.
Our room was clean and orderly. Staff was very cordial, friendly and helpful.
Due to my limited diet I tend to bring my own food. I was disappointed to see that there was no refrigerator and no microwave. This was a huge inconvenience and I probably will not stay there again. Although my room was clean-it was terribly stuffy and humid up on the 10th floor. The air did not work efficiently and unfortunately the windows do not open at all; not even a couple inches for fresh air. Front entrance was torn up for construction and entry was slightly problematic. There is a substantial resort fee that they tack on for each day that you stay in addition to your room rate so I ended up paying another $80 for three nights. I don't know what that fee is for but considering the cost to stay there it was definitely not worth it.
Food was great!
BAR prices were way to high considering the room prices were not that low.
Big room and shower.
There was no complimentary breakfast.
Location was awesome.
The beds had spots and hair, there was one long strand of hair around the water spout and sink.
Ciera Steakhouse was incredible! Highly recommended.
The employees treat you like absolute crap. Extremely rude for the most part. Room service asked twice when we were going to leave! They also cleaned my room when I had the Do Not Disturb sign up. They need to learn how to read. Also, the fact I had to pay $10 extra just to use the gym is absurd. Remind me again why there is a "resort fee." I will however say that Ciera steakhouse was amazing. Great food and service all around, money well spent there!
Great location. Great food! Bed was comfortable.
Rooms were dirty and not fancy.
Rooms were nice
I was going to use the gym and it was 10.00 which I feel if u are paying to stay there the gym should be included.
I got married here 7 years ago, it was nice then but even better now after the renovation. We stayed 3 nights and took advantage of the spa and gym. It's an extra $10 but was worth it for me. Nice and quite.
Indoor pool got a little loud with all the kids. But pay $10 for the spa amenities and you get a whirlpool to yourself, (practically).
Remodeled to modern. Formerly Ceasers and the roman tubs were wonderful-gone. Bed is bad!
has very good location, the pool is great and the best that is within the hotel that is what I liked most
the only bad thing smacks too much cigarette at the bottom
My children enjoyed the indoor pool and I appreciated that they made Starbucks coffee at the cafe.
The hotel is in desperate need of renovations (it used to be Caesar's Palace). The chandeliers were missing several "crystals," the carpets were faded and worn, my children couldn't take a bath because the shower knob wouldn't turn. The shower curtain was missing links, the toilet room had gross stains on the walls. In regards to housekeeping: there was a bag of the prior guests' belongings in a plastic bag when I walked in the room. I looked inside and there were soiled underwear and socks. The bathroom floor had dirt and grime along the walls and there were hairs in the shower/tub. The halls smelled like marijuana the entire time. There were a lot of hidden, ridiculous fees that appeared on my bill upon checking out.
Hotel is nice don't forget to bring a swim suit for the indoor pool.
My room shared a wall with the elevator and I could hear the elevators go up and down all night along with the ding of the doors opening. Also the walls are paper thin and could hear some old hag with a smokers cough hacking all night. I ended up getting up early and driving home just to get some sleep... Waist of $200 this experience..
It smelled like pot the whole time. They did not tell us about 9.98 to 11.99 charge daily. Some of the staff was VERY rude. Food service slow. Would never stay there again!
It was a large room and the bed was very comfortable.
There was no coffee pot in the room and I was charge a facility fee of $10.00 per day after I paid a resort fee in my booking charges.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Air and heat work well in rooms. Elevators are fast and have short wait times. Short walk to places I wanted to go.
walls are thin... neighbors and hallway noises easily heard. Lay out of casino and common paces is terrible... bad use of space. Desk people are incompetent. Candy store on premises had a "be back in 10 minutes" sign on the door for 3 days, never opened. Casino common areas and cafe are filthy. Mattress needs replacing... kinda squeaky springy... It is an ok place to stay, but for the money... this is just too outdated. Should be much cheaper.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a good selection for room service, which was delivered quickly. Location is well suited for visitors who enjoy the activities of S Lake Tahoe, and for the partiers.
The rooms were outdated and tacky. I was told it used to be Cesars Palace which makes a bit more sense, but cone on. Other than the bed, the room did seem a bit dirty, not because of the cleaning staff, just time and wear.
Our reservation was canceled and no one informed us of this cancelation. The girl at the front desk was not very helpful . We had to rebook our stay even tho our card had already been charged
Access to casinos, nightlife, shops, restaurants.
There was only 1 person operating the check in line. They weren't adequately staffed to effieciently check in the line of guests. Tack on "resort fees" were BS. There was no hot water for showers in the morning. Called the front desk about it. They said they are working on it, try again later.
The rooms were at a great value, it was large and we had 2 queens. The restaurant had great chicken fried steak but done order the eggs Benedict.
The pillows were too soft and had no support, I never found anyone at the concierge desk, and they don't have many restaurant options on site.
used to be Caesar's Palace a few years back and now switched over to a type of boutique casino
Hospitality among the staff is very low, experienced a rather cold and unfriendly service from check in to the restaurants.
The pool was fabulous, my kids enjoyed the waterfall while I relaxed in the hot tub. The arcade is a neat feature for the kids as well.
The room wasn't very clean; the beds were made and things looked in order, however, we found leftover feathers (from a boa?), a receipt on the floor, pubic hair in the bathtub and stains all over the bedding.
