Outstanding service from checkin to checkout, beautiful room and most comfortable beds I have slept on in a hotel (I've been to a lot off different hotels). The scenery can't be beat and so peaceful. There is alot of construction going on, but the staff have gone well out of the way to make our stay special and memorable. We WWII be back.
Great rooms with great views! One of my favourite things about this hotel is the pool area that includes a sauna, indoor/outdoor hot tub, cold pool, and steam room with scented steam. Kananaskis Village is a great alternative to the relatively busy Banff/Canmore area. There was a team-building exercise going on in the middle of the "town square" at 9:30am on a Sunday morning, with individual people shouting at the top of their lungs over and over ("I am a strong and confident leader"). This was not appreciated as we could hear it quite loudly in our hotel room and could not get back to sleep. My only complaint for a relaxing weekend away.
The hotel in general was good, the room was excellent, liked the pool and hot tub, scenery was fantastic was a little disappointed in the food quality
every staff member we met was very courteous and wanted to make our stay special for us. N/A
I liked that I was able to take a long walk in the morning with the mountains surrounding me. Both the asphalted and gravelled walks were very good. The Sunday morning brunch although delicious, was very pricey.
The location was remarkable and amenities easily accessed. It was great to spend the day outdoors and not have a significant drive in order to reach facilities with a shower, nice room and food! On receipt of my final bill, I noticed in small print that I had been given the option to refuse a newspaper. However, this was not mentioned to me at any time and when I received the paper, I assumed it was complimentary. This information should have been shared at checkin and the option made clear at that time.
The room was very comfortable and the views were fantastic. I had trouble with very noisy neighbours and the front desk moved me to another room immediately.
Great trails and skiing. Very friendly staff. Thanks for the upgrade. Beautiful spot for a winter getaway. The food quality needs work. The suite was hard to keep warm. Hard on guests and staff during renos.
This hotel has a great location for admiring views, disconnecting from stress, relaxing and hiking. The hotel room was very comfortable and the price midweek was very good for 5 people. We will definitely be going to this hotel again. The bad side to the location is that you have to drive if you want a choice of many restaurants and grocery stores. the scenic drive makes it a pleasure to drive to Canmore or Banff.
The location and the care the house keeping staff gave ourt room The length of time we waited for our food order in the Bighorn lounge our first evening at the Delta.
Loved my room, but not the location. All the staff were amazing and helpful. The market cafe was quite pricey but really great quality. The renos made it difficult to really enjoy my stay. I was there for a conference and to go back to my room if I forgot something or to even just rest for a bit was quite the trek. When we arrived some of the staff didn't seem to know that only 1 elevator (out of 3) could take us to our part of the main building since there were "construction zones". So when we got there third time was a charm and we even had someone show us the way. Thr construction was a pain in the butt. I would definitely not come back until it's all done.
Beautiful suite. Close to Kananaskis Golf Course. Got an upgrade because of 30th Anniversary. Much appreciated! Unfortunately pretty hot notwithstanding the use of the air conditioner. Probably wouldn't stay there except for the golf. Very expensive. Stayed in NY this early spring and paid less just off Times Square!
