It is to worth the value, and a convenient place to stay. The breakfast needs improvement. The sort could be more.
Convenience to LAX. Friendly & very helpful staff. Excellent local Mexican Restaurant. The hotel was a little run down in appearance of rooms. De-luxe was rather a misnomer. There was supposed to be a swimming pool but its location was not apparent. Maybe a plan of the hotel available at checkin would be helpful.
Nothing I got off my plane to find that room had been cancelled and sold too someone else. I had nowhere to go at 1am in the morning. My wallet was stolen a day before I checked in. When they tried to charge my card, it was declined and I was notified thatbinhad 24 hours to provide a new card number. I called them as soon as my plane landed, not even an hour after I got the email saying I had 24 hours to provide a new card to keep reservation. They did not honor their contract. Rude managers and unacceptable business practice. I will never stay at a comfort Inn again not use Kyayk or booking.com. If I wasn't a roll with the punches kinda guy, it would have been much worse. Unacceptable.
angie was wonderful at helping us resolve our booking problems. thankyou! area , ok, not much to do, for walking ,
The gun shots, the intoxicated front desk girl or the ice pool
Closeness to restaurants for convinience. Parking was small
the service My car was broken in to while parked on the parking lot, and several very important items were stolen. I was promised a refund from getaroom.com for one night, for $115.00, but I have not received anything. My wife and I enjoyed coming to comfort inn several times a year, but I think its time for us to find another hotel.
There is a small living room and sleeping room in one room, very good when one of us wants to work and one of us wants to sleep.
Breakfast The smell in the room was really bad, must improve on this
We had a great experience at the hotel
Absolutely nothing. Dirty, shitty bed hurt my back.
met my needs for close to airport, inexpensive and clean
Nice finishes Comfortable bed Good TV Ants in bathroom - even after killing what we saw at night, more still came back in morning
No. The bed and pillows were full of ants. The desk clerk just ignore my complaint. There was no food that was edible on my diet.
Proximity to the airport Very rundown area. Desk staff brusque and unhelpful. Cleaning staff co-operative. Inclusive breakfast was an insult to the name of breakfast, Disgusting. Shuttle service was not provided by the hotel as advertised and the result was expensive. I cancelled a booking for a return visit and this was not cancelled and I was charged as a no show.
First, I was surprised, that this is not a hotel, but a motel. Anyway, I was very surprised about the cleanliness of the room.. It was in very good condition (I had a room 313) It was perfect as a temporary accommodation, like I needed, when I arrived lax Airport in the night, but I do not recommend it as longer- term accommodation while it's abusing when you hear airplane landing in the middle of the night to the lax airport.
eventhough it is in the crime region , hotel is gated...and ok for singles and men
Room was clean, nice flooring and window covering. Check in evening on 2/9. Clerk not very friendly, did not smile.
the speed to internet is very slow
room size and quality Noise, transport to the airport
Booked a room thur Booking.com at $79.00 a night. When I got to the Motel there is a large sign that states $59.00 a night. Then The front counter person charged me $10.00 for the shuttle service that is stated to be free on your website. Priced Higher then the Stated Sign Price. Charged for a free shuttle service
I liked the location ...close to the airport. I didn't like the fact that there were no other facilities to use at the hotel (ie: indoor pool, exercise room, jacuzzi). My room's bathroom wasn't that clean.
Lots of restaurants, stores and junk food places close by. The maids don't dust the furniture, vacuum or clean under the microwave.
It is conveniently located between the airport/car rental agencies and I405 that I needed to take the following morning. Breakfast included in the price.
the room was well. the breakfast was in the reception, without tables neither chairs. The persons in the reception was not pleasant.
The distance to car rental from hotel was very convenient The area not so nice small parking lot and worst of all my door to the room did not lock.
it was close to the airport, provided a free shuttle to airport and had free breakfast the outside was run down and frankly a little scary, however the inside was nice, very clean
nothing. backpackers, gamblers, noisy overnight. Too many drunk people in the lounge and smell terrible. Suite is very old, dirty carpet and sofa.
Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes standing up at LAX to be sure not to miss it. I had to call back 3 times after my initial call as she told me he was on his way, he just left the airport, he's going to go back in 15 minutes, he's at the airport... Never ending run around. Another couple got in just after he and they were furious, they had been waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes! They asked to speak to the banger and were dismissed rudely by the lady at front desk. There was nothing she could do....
Receptionist tried to accommodate us in other rooms but it was impossible, all rooms were just as bad. Not a safe area, unsanitary, random suspicious people allowed to walk around the premises, bad parking, noisy, heavy smoking and uncontrolled alcohol consumption, roaches, very bad beds, rooms are not secured, guest fell near pool area due to poor maintenance. Rowdy, uncontrolled young people, apparent drug dealing and prostitution.
They wouldn't let us check in because I sometimes reside in an apartment in the LA area, even though I had booked it a week in advance.
Hard to locate, parking for checkin dismal, also got blocked in, parking lot too small, also go blocked in. Front desk understaffed. Round bed(!) and squre sheets dont work. Bed cover unclean. No shelves or cabinets. Bathroom sink faucer loose, livin room furnishings worse than charity-store leftovers. Plants on the outside grow into the bathroom through the window. + + +. Nice interior landscaping, public area full of cigarette smoke. Lots of ceanup and repairs are needed for room 101. Read above
The price was great and the location was near almost everything Parking was a little tight
No security.......unknown people in and out...very sketchy, not friendly staff or helpful...Would never stay there again.
The pool was very nice if you love to swim. Vending machines downstairs are convenient if you want a snack or a beverage. Rooms were decently cleaned. The staff aren't entirely helpful or nice. DIDNT RETURN $35 SECURITY DEPOSIT, they even lied each time I called and asked for them to return it. They either leave you on hold or lie and say they returned it
The rooms were fabulous and the food excellent
The tiki bar/pool area was cool. Cockraoches were all over our room. We paid for 4 nights off the bat, same day as we checked in....after we saw all the roaches in our room, we packed up and asked for a refund for the 3 nights we wouldnt be staying in their facility. They were rude, wouldnt refund us, and didnt have the things they said they would have. Very dissappointed in this place.
Pool a worker came into our room while we were in there to get lunch from the fridge, mold everywhere.
Front desk employees were kind mold in shower, lots of it, wash clothes dirty, top sheet stained, sofa dirty and smell, carpet dirty and stink, drug dealers pool side, crack head sleeping in lobby, our car was blocked in by several cars took 30 minutes to leave, bartender told me to get my own ice out ice maker and I purchased a drink, I want a refund, I have pics also
The room had nice furniture but, the carpet was badly stained and the room smelled really bad. The chair was filthy and I wasn't comfortable at all. I couldn't walk on the floor without my shoes.
Given the price and location, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. It had a microwave, sink, small fridge, and ironing board. The room appeared to have been redecorated recently, and the bathroom was nicely done with granite. I needed a convenient place to stay near lax for one night. I arrived after 1am and check-in was quick. There was a/c in the room, but I chose the fresh air of the open window instead. There was a little bit of traffic noise, as the hotel is on a major street, but it was otherwise quiet. Aside from the apples, the breakfast foods offered were not worth eating. Only simple carbs (cereal, white bread, and waffles) with no protein.
The staff were friendly and professional. Very helpful. The decor was drab and a uninviting. No airport shuttle available. A place to lay your head only. I requested 2 queen beds and received 2 double beds.
Close to LAX,good sized rooms, good price and friendly staff, will stay again
Very close to the airport, small breakfast is included, parking free. But very poor internet connection, no shuttle bus service, and rooms on the street are very noisy Rooms on the street are noisy, very poor internet connection. Breakfast a bit small
the room was quiet and with very nice equipment
Enough parking space, breakfast, big rooms. To close near a busy road, much traffic-noise.
Nothing I didn't like the fact that I booked the hotel online from Las Vegas drove all the way there just to find out they sold our room and then the lady at the front desk told the travel agency that I called earlier and had them change the date for THE DAY BEFORE....... Which doesn't make sense at all. Also we weren't accomidated with another room cause they were all sold out so we had to drive all the way back home in the same day. Because of this I will never book here again!
No towels were available when we requested. Yellow debris left in the tub
Nothing Everything Had trash can in middle of room to catch water dropping from ceiling During the night got up to use bathroom Slipped my shoes on Carpet was wet around trash can catching the leaks So I slipped when my shoes hit the tile in bathroom Very unsafe Not too good
Need new tubs and bad smell
I liked the fact that it is close to the airport and has a shuttle. It was quiet at night and I had a goodnight rest, which is why I was there. Hotel is quite run down and needs remodel. Old furniture all around, as well bath tub, sink, carpets etc…. The hotel looks very dirty and I was wondering if the sheets would be even clean…I smelled them bunch of times…got me paranoid….I think they were… Bathroom didn't feel clean, didn't feel too good. Bath tub didn't close, so I wasn't able to take a bath, which is fine since there is a drought right now. I wouldn't stay there again, because of the rundown and cleanliness.
I was content with the comfort of the bed and cleanliness of the bathroom. It was perfect for just our overnight stay.
Proximity to the airport The room was outdated, smelled and needed a clean. The hallways were gloomy and the noise echoed loudly.
The staff were very helpful with a last minute booking. Nice to get discount at Denny's down the street. Friendly and helpful staff. No towels in room when we checked in. False fire alarm in the middle of the night.
Can't describe correctly without expletives. Seriously w.t.f.???? Everything
Location, close to 405 and LAX. Room lacked a fridge, microwave. Only had 2 ice machines in the whole building. Pool was dirty, no hot tub. Room was dirty, according unit leaked water onto carpet while it was on.
The staff is very friendly. I got the same courtesy as I would have gotten from a 4 star hotel. Best part of my stay. When I got into my room there was still trash from the previous guest. I don't think the floor was vacuumed because when I was walking around the room barefoot my soles were covered in dirt. The bathtub was clogged and took some time to drain.
I booked s king deluxe room bc I wanted s room with a couch for my daughter to sleep on. This room had a bathtub in the middle of the room and no couch. It was really odd to say the least! I asked for a room with a couch, and was given another room, again this one did not have a couch, I then asked again for another room. The girl at the front desk was helpful and upgraded me to a suite bc she felt bad for having me go up and down 3 times. The room was dark and dingy, not the kind of place you'd walk around in barefoot. I knew it wasn't luxurious and we were only there one night to fly out of LAX the next morning but I didn't expect it to be that bad! The hotel restaurant was gross too, food was horrible!
breakfast was good. very close to highway and therefore noisy.
Its simple check in & out as well as its proximity to airport. The so called free shuttle service.
It was very quiet even though it was close to the airport. Breakfast was good. No
The staff was wonderful! Especially the young lady who cleaned exceptional! No complaints.
it was close to the airport no
Goods arrangements for aiport transfer Helpful staff Not a vegetarian friendly place
The staff, particularly the manager could not have been more helpful, basic accommodation was satisfactory, would not have wanted to pay more for the quality. all provision of utensils for eating and drinking was in plastic, it would appear that this is an American thing, not just this hotel. Would have been nice to have decent crockery.
close to airport, free shuttle, friendly staff, clean, safe, good value, morning breakfast. Street noise through windows, possibly a smoking room.
Friendly staff, relatively good breakfast. The location is horrible, it is in the middle of a highway crossing. Nothing close by in walking distance.
thanks mr. Dee , staff from airpark hotel!!! very helpfull! nothing!
Localização e acesso. Hotel estava em reforma
Room had a stale smell. AC cut off and on all night and was very loud.
I called hotel 3 times and shuttle never came at airport. I had to wait for 1 hr finally I took a cab to hotel DO NOT take this hotel if you want shuttle from airport.
The staff is friendly and the building itself was pretty quiet give its proximity to landing strips at LAX. The exercise facility is quite nice. The express breakfast is limited, but gives a few options. My room was not clean--and frankly wasn't ready when I checked in at 4:00 pm (no bath towels). Toilet didn't flush well. Water didn't drain well in shower.
Super amazing beds! Breakfast is decent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Climate control didn't work in room, I don't think it worked on the entire floor so be sure to ask about it when you check in. Hair dryer was from the 80's. Parking for $15 seemed excessive.
Easy access, comfy bed, great amenities (tea, coffee, hot water in the lobby), friendly staff The shower head and towels need updating
Called ahead to let them know I would arrive late. They said no problem. When I arrive they gave my room away and instead of 2 beds we got a bed and a pullout. Not OK. The first room they gave us had no water pressure so we had to move to another room. The front desk attendant had absolutely no remorse or empathy about the situation. Terrible service complete and total liars...
great breakfast included. airport shuttle was very convenient. staff was friendly. bed was comfortable and everything was clean and up to date.
Sheraton brand did not ensure a quality experience. Have stayed in other Sheraton's that maintain high quality I've come to expect. No food service available after 10pm. Security gate to parking lot prevented me from being dropped off and picked up at front door. Can hear noise from hallway /neighboring rooms because of thin walls. Felt like I was in an inexpensive hotel for spring breakers. Much better options available in the surrounding area at competitive prices. Definately will NOT recommend or stay there in the future.
Place was clean. Plenty of towels and hand cloths provided. They left a coffee maker with coffee Beans but I couldn't make it because there was no coffee filter. There was plenty of trash cans which was good but no trash bags in any of them. Also they decided to wake us up at 8am just to ask us when we were checking out. Why couldn't they come knock at 11 when that's the check out time.
The check in and out was quick. The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel is shabby. The carpet in the room was old and worn and the look of the room was tired. The bed was comfortable. There was an annoying low buzz sound all night coming from a corner of the room. Every time I used the sink the drain stunk.
Room 505 smelled of vomit and bed was lopsided, old and uncomfortable. was switched to 305 which was much better and was given free breakfast which we never used overall a notch below nearby courtyard marriott
Staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable. My room was upgraded after initial inconvenience of being sent to a room that was not made up. I didn't have hot water the first day, but that was fixed. Frig is big. I was given complimentary breakfasts for my inconvenience. Breakfast was okay, lots of carbs (bread, toast, pastries), fresh fruit minimal and not that fresh. Omlettes and cooked food was good, and I was immediately brought orange juice and coffee/tea.
Everything was great except I feel it was a little over priced by 25%. The price was a little high
The staff was nice and helpful despite a nightmare experience . I found a bedbug in my bed and it was a total nightmare. I would never stay here again and would warn everyone to avoid this place. I didn't sleep at all and had to clean all my luggage and launder all my clothes before returning home. Stay away!
The king-size bed was very comfy and warm. The hotel does not stock any tampons or pads? It seems like this would be a necessary courtesy item. For the price, it would also be nice to have had complimentary breakfast, as I've had this at hotels that were not as expensive.
Easy check-in/check-out. The bathroom, especially the sink area was too small.
We enjoyed how knowledgeable the person working the front desk was about the stay. We enjoyed that they had free internet and affordable parking ($12 - with unlimited entries). The hotel was very nice and kept together well and in a nice neighborhood. Within walking distance there is a beautiful mall with nice restaurant choices and shopping opportunities. There is a gas station next door and it is a straight shot (less than 15 minutes) to the airport. There was very little to complain about at this hotel. We were hoping for an included continental breakfast but it seems many places in LA didn't have that. The rooms were slightly small but still lovely and good for sleeping which is all we wanted it for anyway. (It should be noted that it still had a mini-fridge/coffee pot, lounge chair, desk, and TV). The walls are a little thin but we always take earplugs to hotels anyway because you never know what to expect.
Fighting going on outside in the parking lot..... Area look soooo ghetto Hsd to pay extra money (hidden cost) No breakfast!!!
Location. Close to airport The room was dingy and old. the bathroom was almost unusable. There wad bugs in the bathroom also and rings in the tub
Room was clean, for the most part. Staff were friendly. Continental breakfast was only coffee, juice and donuts. "Free internet" was not achievable in the rooms - only if you sat in the lobby. "Free shuttle" does no longer exist - be warned, even the hotel's own webpage says "free 24 hour shuttle", contradicts itself by saying it's $5/person, then when I called I was told to take a chain shuttle. Which is fine, had it been told to me off the start. Contact number was someone's cell phone - someone at the airport had to call directory assistance to get the real number.
The Hotel rooms are spacious and the staffs are very good. It was a pleasant stay in the Hotel. No complain at all.
Only the location if you need go early to airport I can´t recomended this hotel, it´s really horrible, i prefer best western in all my travel but this hotel...never come back
The price was reasonable and the room we were given at the back was reasonably quiet The location was not as expected and the breakfast room was very small.
Excellent service, good decor and layout of hotel plus indoor swimming pool. Staff friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Need to ring the hotel for shuttle bus when arriving at the airport, which is not handy when you have a non US phone
I had a Christmas eve and Christmas day unplanned layover in LA. The girl at the front, Jordan really was sweet and nice. Helped my stay start off right.
The bed was new and comfortable. They allowed late check-In. There were young prostitutes everywhere and the staff just let them.As well as Pimps outside. The staff even talked with Johns to arrange room visits with the prostitutes. It was uncomfortable atmosphere. The suite had several holes in the floor , under the carpet. The tubs drain plug was broken. But we said nothing since I was too afraid to open the door again.
location; airport shuttle; coffee in room; no valet parking
I had a long day and became stranded in LA overnight. The manager did a great job realizing my situation and helping make me comfortable and ensuring that I had all I needed..
I thought it was lovely. Furniture was lovely and the room was spacious and spotless. The pool area was lovely and the free internet access handy. I would stay here again and would happily recomend it to others.
When I had first arrived at the Embassy Suites Los Angeles--International Airport South, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the hotel. I enjoyed the less busy location of the hotel as well. The hotel staff were friendly and comforting. There was no selection of expensive champagne. Kristal or Dom Perignon would have been preferred.
It was excellent & more than fulfilled our needs. Instead of just being a 'kill time / stopover place' we discovered a spacious suite, good bistro food, friendly staff, amazingly efficient check out system & free extras - free internet access, free drinks & nibbles early evening, an excellent breakfast included in the price & a no fuss free extension to stay in our room til our free transfer to airport was due. All more than we expected & reasonably priced. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if waiting for connecting flights at lax or just a family get together in la! Nothing to complain about - all excellent.
The hotel is really close to the airport as well to Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica.
- location - price - free parking (due to some changes being made) - pool - Tissue-thin walls ... could hear EVERYTHING in next room - Restaurant burger I ordered had bone pieces in it, chipped my back molar ... NOT kidding.
The Hotel is very nice and well appointed. It does NOT include breakfast. They would not come to the airport to pick me up because they did NOT have a record of my reservation. I had a copy of my pre-paid reservation and called Get A Room. They agreed that they showed my reservation. Who's fault it was (Get A Room or Doubletree) I am not sure. But it took 2 1/2 hours for them to work it out and pick me up. They (Doubletree) originally claimed that they had no openings. Some way or another one must have opened up but 2.5 hours waiting at the airport is NOT acceptable.
While being close to the airport you don't hear much from the planes.
The hotel was nice enough. I was in town on business and searching for places to relocate to in the area. This has always been my go to when I am on business travel and was excited to bring my girlfriend and show her where I stay when I travel to LA. Unfortunately we had some items come up broken after we were gone all day. Management never came to see us after they promised that they would. Nothing has been done about it. I am not trying to get anyone in trouble, but at least give me the courtesy of attempting to make it right instead of constantly saying sorry. Sorry doesn't fix it, it admits fault which further enraged by the lack of effort to make things right
Great staff, very friendly and a nice location close to LAX. Pool needed a bit more service, eg towels.
Staff staff staff ... excellent staff,, very helpful also the room was very luxurious, hotel had plenty of amenities e.g. complimentary shuttle to my test center was very nice indeed of them. its location ,, as for me it was perfect for my main purpose which is being near my test center but once um done with my test theres nothing near by ... nothing to do it gives the feeling of an out of town hotel
Extremely courteous and helpful staff and comfortable amenities. Indoor signage for pool/spa is lacking.
We checked in at there check in time but the room was not ready. We were asked to return in an hr. Upon our return the room was still not ready!!! I was very patient with them but VERY disappointed in the quality of service!!!
Very close to LAX Staff was very rude and unwilling to help.
close to LAX,provides shuttle service to/from airport, room was comfortable and quiet breakfast did not include any fruit
The facility itself was not that bad. Location Customer service was horrible. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. There was two people at the front desk and none bothered to even say anything. One was on the phone and the other was just sitting there. I was told over the phone several times before arrival that I could request a roll away bed if needed. I planed on having my son over for a night or two. Upon requesting one on arrival I was told they would get me one. I later received a call questioning how many guests I had and harassing me as to how many guests I could have in the room. (after I had already explained this to the front desk prior to making a reservation). They refused to move us to a bigger room. The break feast was a joke. It was completely messy with cereal and spilled liquid all over the place. The trash was overflowing and there was obviously plenty of staff to take care of it. The internet was down about 30% of my four day stay. The room and air conditioner smelled like urine. The hotel facility itself was no bad at all. This place definitely needs new management. They need to start by training and/or simply hiring front desk staff with better manners and people skills. The information given needs to be consistent with the actual hotel policies. This was just a bad experience. We travel frequently and hardly ever deal with so many issues at once. Again with better management, I think this hotel has the potential to offer so much more. We paid a ( Marriot ) 5 star price for this room and we probably could of got better service at motel 6 for less than a quarter of what we paid a night. This is just my 2 cents and observations. Stay here if you just want a place to sleep.
The staff was wonderful. Truly made our stay better. Nothing :)
close proximity to the airport. They have no pick up when I arrived at 0130. I have to find my own transportation in the early morning. they said they would refund my taxi ticket but has to have a printed receipt. Of course I could not have one as I was traveling. To use their computer to print it would cost me almost the fee of the Uber. Forget it!
The shuttle was conveinet. Roderick the front desk man was funny and helpful. I didnt like how in front of us checking in their was a group of irresponsible swearing mid 20 year olds. The walk to our room was long and cold. We tookthe 6 am shuttle but I wasnt able to eat your " continental breakfast".
Staff was friendly and efficient. Access to LAX very good. Rooms were inexpensive. Facility was a bit down at the heels; stains on carpet and furniture surfaces. Toilet did not flush. Breakfast had no fruit or protein.
Location near the airport. Breakfast included in room price. Proximity to food court. Free print-out of boarding passes. Shuttle pick-up at, airport, only after telephone request: no regular pick-up. This is most inconvenient as, arriving from abroad, our telephones do not work in the USA. Not knowing this in advance caused us to wait more than an hour before returning inside the airport terminal to inquire at the tourist information desk. The comment of the tourist information desk attendant was, "Oh, Travelodge South LAX has ___tty service". In comparison, the shuttle of Travelodge Century Boulebvard made 2 rotations before I went and calledTravelodge South LAX from the Tourist information desk. The room we occupied was inadequately sound-proofed. I know that US hotels are notorious for this, but our room seemed particularly subject to incursions of noise; from around and above. The battleship gray paint, used for the exterior walls, has the effect of camouflaging the hotel so that it disappears from view.
Close to the airport, with shuttle service. Clean. Five dollars extra for parking--the usual gouge of hotels but, for a motel, a ridiculous charge. The rooms are tiny. The price was too high.
Room was clean and spacious. Hotel located in somewhat seedy area. Didn't feel safe to walk anywhere.
This place is really a great value, the building is safe and well maintained. Having a gated parking garage is great for peace of mind. The rooms are very nice for what you pay and overall stay was very comfortable. I've been there twice already and plan on staying again because the experience was so great. Highly recommended!
We needed a place to stay near LAX that didn't cost an arm and a leg. This Comfort Inn was just the ticket. Plus secure off-street parking and a full, hot breakfast.
Very nice and clean room and good breakfast. The only thing I did not like it the parking situation and entry to hotel is weird.
Free airport shuttle Clean large room Clean laundry facilities Friendly helpful staff Not too great an area for walking to restaurants, etc
Friendly and attentive staff. Clean rooms with large frig and full-size microwave. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Secure parking. Nice pool area. Minutes from LAX. Some of the breakfast selections weren't appealing. TV was too small for the size of the room (hard to see from across the room while sitting on bed).
Ample room soace (double queen). Convenient location, close to LAX, near shopping malls and fast foods, at reasonable distance from Hollywood - one hour drive. Breakfast OK. Parking OK. Near Metro station even though I did not use it. Amenities ok: microwave, refrigerator. Good value for the cost. Bumpy elevator.
1.Clean and tidy environment 2. Freely available water machine for drinking 3. Room very spacious and comfortable 1. Breakfast area crowded insufficient sitting area 2. Quality of TV is cheap and poor and no HD 3. Room is well equipped but toilet basin is too small 4. 1st night the WIFI not working at all 5. wardrobe too small
It was very clean and comfortable, very nice rooms,I was pleasantly surprised by the full size refrigerator and the stove top, good to know for a longer stay
Airport shuttle, breakfast, comfy beds, and clean/large rooms! The TV in the room didn't work. I informed the front desk and was told maintenance would come look at it. Waited 2 hours and no one came so I canceled the maintenance call.
Shuttle service to and from the airport is very easy and efficient. Size of room is above average. Neighborhood. Showerhead was old and clogged.
The room was pleasantly cleaned daily. Adequate workout room. Weekday staff was pleasant and accommodating. I PRE-PAID for a week and upon arrival was told there were no more rooms available for that which I PRE-PAID. After much discussion, they found a room. The room key kept deactivating, even though it was no where near our phones. Around July 4th - it is a VERY busy hotel, lots of large families. For us, overall, it was too far out from Santa Monica, however, there is a shortage of mid-range hotels closer to Santa Monica.
Hotel wass very clean & all the staff was very nice and courteous. Free breakfast was excellent- no waffle maker but there was a wide selection of everything else and a selection of teas which you normally don't see at any other hotels. There is some family friendly fast food locations very close by & parking garage was also very close Nothing to complain about except the rug in our room was stained so we wore shoes in the room the entire stay.
Free parking Free breakfast Comfortable soft beds Close to airport Close to activities
Location was great Very thin walls could hear ppl in next room. Whom was liud
The staff (Chris) we're very helpful and polite. The customer service was great!!! Hotel had a lot to offer!!! I was concerned about the location and safety of my family. Didn't feel to secure when I went across the street to get food and a security guard was wearing a bullet proof vest and a gun. I'm aware this is out of you control and has no reflection on our stay but left me wondering how safe I was.
Comfortable King size bed and a clean bathroom. Very slow Wi-fi connection and the noise heard from opening and closing of room doors at night.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. There was inside parking, wifi and free breakfast. We had a handicapped accessible room which met our needs. There were too many people for the room where breakfast was being served. It was difficult to find a seat for breakfast no matter what time you went. We would suggest that the hotel offer green to guests so that they could indicated if they needed more towels or wanted the sheets changed. The area was not a safe area and we did not venture forth at night.
Everything was comfortable, the breakfast was good That the pool closed early
all inclusive. Not a very good area.
Same variety of breakfast items everyday
Did not get to experience hotel Did not like treatment from staff. There was a misunderstanding due to hotel staff misunderstanding me and using hotel jargon, assuming that I would know what she meant. When my husband and myself got to the hotel at 1am, we did not have a room to sleep in for the night and was forced to pay for another room in another hotel because of the assumption of particular staff member. When problem bought to person that created it, the next day, we were told that there was nothing that could be done about us being wronged and staff showed no sympathy and did not apologize. We then cancelled our reservations and would not again book here, being that we felt customer service was not good and did not like area of hotel either.
Room was very nice, comfortable, breakfast was great, location next to an exit for I405 was good, its LA you have to have a car No
It looks like an arts museum. We felt very cosy with its European charm, classy decor and inner courtyard. Amazing amenities for budget-savvy travelers, that we haven't encountered at this class of hotels before: microwave and fridge in the room, in couple with free Internet and free parking it gave an excellent value for the money paid. Staff is going out of the way to help, very friendly and professional. Everything was spotless and everything worked! Matisse restaurant exceeded our expectations with great food and service for the prix fixe menu. Breakfast was filling and tasty (loved the roasted potatoes!) And late checkout (12 p.m.) worked very nicely into our lazy vacation schedule:) Could not quite find anything wrong... Keep the excellent job going, folk! It was kinda far from most of places tourists flock in, but close to the airport.
atmosphere, comfort, russian oil paintings breakfat (organisation)
Hotel is located near the international aeroport, it is very convenient for travelers. We liked a really nice design and spaciousness of the room, friendly hotel staff, simple and free of charge parking near the hotel All restaurants and bars except McDonalds are closed after 10pm
We stayed at Ayres Hotel at the beginning of our trip through California. It is conveniently located near LA airport. From here it's a short trip to either Disneyland, Beverly Hills, Hollywood of any of the beaches near Santa Monica, Venice or Manhatta Beach. Staff was very friendly and the Matiss restaurant serves excellent diner. Both the lounge menu and the entrees contain very well-tasting choices. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this in-hotel restaurant. Furthermore, we were welcomed with Mexican-style music as a wedding was going on at our arrival.
We had a very pleasant, two night stay at the Ayres Hotel, which is quite a specialty. It's a "European Classic Style" hotel in a modern business like location. The staff was very friendely, the room nice, the beds comfortable and the restaurant (also for the included breakfast) is very nice for the price. Recommended.
Nice pictures from russian soviet times :) Maybe not so fast brekfast
good value for the price
Hotel facilities were excellent for families. Breakfast was well received by parents with good selection of cereals and fruit and less focus on hot meals.
The room size and location
It was a peaceful getaway for me and my wife. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Room service was magnificent.
I normally don't do surveys but I have to share the experience at this Courtyard Marriotts. I am very impressed with the hispitality I received from the front desk. Everyone was smiling and cheerful, helpful and pleasant, curious and attentive. I was so comfortable and welcomed. I have not had such an excellent experience in a long time. I will recommend this location to all my friends and family. Not being able to stay longer.
Very nice, clean, big rooms.
10 minutes from Santa Monica & Venice but much more affordable Facilities seemed very nice, even though we had plans elsewhere so didn't use many of them Bed was comfortable Room was spacious & had mini-refrigerator Housekeeping cleaned the room much better than at most hotels We had an "accessable" room, which I don't remember requesting. This wasn't bad, but I wish there were a few normal height towel bars & hooks, in addition to the low ones. There was a coffee-maker but no tea bags for non-coffee drinkers
1.) location- walking distance to Westfield Mall, CVS, movie theater. Close to freeway. 2.) free WIFI 3.) comfortable beds 1.) view outside is dumpster of CVS. 2.) noisy AC 3.) not all staff are friendly.
Our group had several requests, and the front desk was very accommodating.
$15 fee for parking for guests staying for the night.
