Staff was very friendly and helpful.
I do not like European comforter. It made me hot and clammy.
European duvets, decor, cleanliness, cute items for sale, and casual feel
The price was great.
Everything was excellent
Upon arrival, the valet was helpful and accommodating. The building is clean and appealing and the staff are all helpful, friendly & knowledgeable! Had a great 2-night stay.
The street noise is nearly unbearable. Perhaps if they upgrade the windows it may cut down on the noise a tad.
Love the dog-friendliness! And so did our pug! Very quiet in spite of being downtown. Very comfortable bed - my husband who doesn’t sleep well when we’re not home said it was the best hotel sleep he’s ever had! With a new baby it’s hard for us to get going in the morning, so it was nice to have the continental breakfast - and the muffins were delicious! Also, it was really cool that there were bikes available to ride around downtown - not an option for us with our 2 month old in tow. If we were staying longer, we might have taken advantage of the available pup package, too.
Only thing I wished we had was a bath tub! We don’t have a tub at home, so I was hoping to take a bath during our stay. We were in a regular room, so I’m not sure if a suite or one of the nicer rooms might have a tub.
Wonderful Room, Great Staff and customer service is excellent.
Only way to park is to pay 45$ A night to valet or risk getting towed on street parking and no attached restaurant so there is no room service.
Good value, great location
Convenient location. Clean rooms in very good condition. Friendly staff. I would definitely return to this property. Fair pricing.
No significant deficits were noted.
Awesome location and staff!
We stayed here in the Gaslamp Quarter for one night because my boyfriend and I had a global entry interview in SD and decided to make a night of it. Upon check in the woman at the counter was very bubbly and helpful! She offered up cupcakes and coffee which they serve in their lobby daily. They also have a cute little coffee place in the corner. Everything is really colorful and bright with touches of pineapple decor throughout. They had yellow bikes in the front of the hotel by the valet ($38/night) that I believe they let you borrow for free- I could be wrong. We parked around the corner in the parking structure on Market and 6th. It’s $15 a day and then I think $1.25 an hour after that. The room didn’t have a great view but the bed was extraordinarily comfortable! Modern rooms and bathrooms. GREAT location. Cute sports bar right next door if you like the divey feel which being from Long Beach, we do. There are a ton of restaurants and bars all at your fingertips here. You really are in the heart of the action! We will most definitely stay here again.
Not the best view of the city and the price jumped from $140/night to $299 the next night. Prices fluctuate so no big deal. We just wanted to extend our stay and weren’t able to justify they extra $$.
Great hotel in an excellent location
I liked the theme of the hotel. The hotel is located in the gaslamp district which was excellent. The bed was really comfortable and they even give you individual comforters which I loved.
I didn't like the location of our room we were on the fridt floor next the the elevators and every person that was leaving the hotel with their luggage had to go by our room.
Really nice place to stay. European feel, all hotels very expensive in San Diego on weekends. Very comfortable beds, nice shower products. Loved being able to use bucycles. My room should bave darker, was told upon checout that there were privacy blinds that I never saw.
Pleasant and Hip
The bed was super comfortable. I like the European duvet style without the bed cover that doesn't get washed. The whole hotel was styled in a very contempory, upbeat and cheeky sort of way. There were many thoughtful touches I appreciated. I had a quiet night of sleep in comfort.
Nice urban modern boutique hotel with great location. Park a block up for $15/night. Would definitely stay there again.
