The location also has downsides like lots of homelessness and beggars. The hotel itself was nicely appointed, but was less spectacular on the small details. Felt like a standard issue hotel a bit.
Staff at check in and valet super friendly! Great atmosphere in lobby.
An unfortunate renovation of a grand old building
The hotel is clean, the views are great, and the staff are friendly.
They nearly ruined the gorgeous marble lobby of the Fulton Building by adding all sorts of slightly trashy 90s design don'ts to this Beaux Arts beauty. TV screens all over, a cramped, ugly bar, and nasty multi colored lights inside the glass dome. The rooms are fairly large but with more oversized, shabby chic furniture which would make Dorothy Draper blush. And PLEASE renovate the bathrooms! The fixtures are really cheap, dated, and quickly becoming obsolete.
Great view, but not very clean
The room had a fantastic view of the river (although it cost extra) and great decor.
after settling into the room for a little while; obvious dirty spots started to appear. Coffe spilt on the desk, yellow stains on the comforter, and hair in the bed.
