Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again. My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
Great view, location - nice rooms. Bed was way too comfortable!
The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great. Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
The personal are professional and very polite.
Rooms are stylish, well concepted and executed. Baths and beds and interior design is well done. Rooms have great views and are quiet. This hotel and the W are the two best hotels in Fort Lauderdale and this is a great value. Close to restaurants and the beach. Slight access issues, but once you've stayed there you figure it out and its fine, the location offsets any access challenges.
Friendly staff, clean, close to beach. Nothing negative
The staff is friendly and accumulating. Easy access to beach front. Updated lobby and rooms. Near liquor store. Don't worth the $200+ a night rate I paid. It looks and feels like an old Holiday Inn that was renovated. The view from the rooms of the beach is only a half view as the building is blocking the rest. The carpet was stained. The shower had mold on the grout and caulked in areas. The A/C only kicked on when it wanted to. The pool is the size of an above-ground pool. I paid the rate because the reviews and pictures looked appeasing but it turned out to be a front. Also, it is not an adult only hotel; many, many families present and being very loud and obnoxious. 2-star rating. Only stay here if you find a rate for under $100 a night. Very, very disappointed.
Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool. Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
Vera¡y good location The service specially for the breakfast was very poor
This was a great place to stay. It was very nice and looked more modern than most of the hotels on the strip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean! The higher your room the better. Beds were very comfy. Room amenities: Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice bucket, 4 glasses, safe, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in shower, iron/board, mirrors on the closet doors, 2 bottles of water daily They also offered 2 welcome drinks from the bar upon arrival, free beach towels and 2 free beach chairs daily. Location: The location of this hotel was good for us. It is located at the corner of A1A and Sunrise Blvd. The beach was right across the street and this section of the beach wasn't as crowded. We did not need to rent a car. There was plenty of things within a block surrounding the hotel. There was a Thai sushi place, 24hr pizza place, Mediterranean/Vegan spot, deli/sandwich shop, ice cream, popcorn, Subway, 7 Eleven. There were also several souvenir shops, a pub and a couple of other small restaurants. We rented a scooter from Fun Rentals right behind the hotel so we could explore a little further. Great transportation without paying for valet parking. We also used the beach shuttle ($3/person). Other transportation options include Trolley ($1/ride), City bus (bus stop right out front), cab, Uber, bike rentals. The nightlife is about a mile south of the hotel (30 min walk) on A1A. The Galleria mall was about 1/2 mile west on Sunrise blvd...not far at all. Overall this was a great place and we would stay here again. The pool was sort of small though. I would have liked a microwave as well though. Restaurant in hotel was kind of expensive so we never ate there.
NOTHING. EVERYTHING. I would not stay here, they are not accomodating, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. There sheets were terrible, and the room was dirty.
Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great. Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
I have stayed at the Atlantic twice and there is literally nothing one could not like about this hotel. That my trip was not longer :)
Great location right on the beach. Large, comfortable rooms. The staff allowed me to check in a few hours early since they had a clean room ready. Nightly turn down service with chocolates on my pillow were a nice touch. Front desk staff was average. At best. At a hotel of this caliber I expected a lot more courtesy and friendliness. Broken shower. No available chairs at the pool TWO days in a row. No bellhop to carry my luggage. And no apologies when I told them about my underwhelming experience.
The service, food and staff were amazing Can't think of anything
No housekeeping No available chairs, etc for the beach
Great location. Comfortable bed and room. Dated and worn out furniture and kitchen cabinets.
friendly efficient staff and service. we were upgraded to larger room, which felt like an apartment. The hotel appeared to be located on the beach, but there was a busy road between the beach and hotel.
I loved everything. Especially the staff. Marisa or Marisha ( not sure how to pronounce it) was extremely helpful. We will be coming back just because the way we were treated by the people there.
I know this might sound wired but the shower, hotel showers are usually bad but this one was great! Lots of pressure and never ran out of hot water. The king bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable.
I loved that we got upgraded to a very large suite. It was a beautiful "apartment". Great hugh balcony. Nice finishes. I didn't like that there was nothing to cook with (despite the full kitchen). The kitchen was vey very dirty and I had to spend time cleaning it. Not what I want to do I vacation.
Location was nice. Housekeeping and the valet were polite. Hotel construction was everywhere including the expensive beach front view I payed for. I was treated disrespectfully by the day manager. He lied to kayak about approval for an early checkout refund. We left anyways. The chair in our room was held together with gorilla glue, the a/c and fridge worked intermittently. Overall all of the inconveniences made it for a difficult first trip with our new baby. The hotel refers to itself as luxurious, but customer service and repairs to the inside of the rooms are greatly needed.
well appointed rooms
Nice large room and decor Hotel Pool and Lobby are very nice Restaurants are fun Missing remote, room service book, etc. upon arrival and took about 45 min to bring it up. Food prices on room service menu. View of construction site with blocked view of ocean on "oceanview room"
Location Unfriendly, on accommodating staff . Managers unavailable. Don't bother having a drink outside very unfriendly wait don't bother having a drink outside very unfriendly weights staff.
I was able to book at a discounted rate through a booking site. The location of the hotel is perfect, right across the street from the beach. They rent out towels and chairs at no additional cost which is a HUGE plus. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to upgrade to a suite which had a private balcony. Perfect for me and my guest as this was to spend a weekend away on the beach with her. The water in the shower would get hotter every time someone flushed a toilet. Was constantly having to step away from the water because I would getting burned. The shower head had no pressure and the paint on the ceiling in the shower was peeling off.
Great location, chairs and beach towel service excellent.
Lpcation Age of appearance. In severe need of updating.
Second time staying here. Great people behind the counter, and all four of us enjoyed it. Walls are thin and had noise complaint on us shortly after we got there from our group having a normal conversation. But nothing that would keep us from going back!
Wait staff at the cafe were outstanding. It is a funky hotel.
Location location location. Outdated furnishings, poor lighting in room, somewhat dirty in places.
The hotel is across the street from the beach, they supply sand chairs and towels for the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The room was very clean. Even tho there are some problems, we adjusted and had a good stay. The hotel is old, they have tried to dress it up, but the exterior door has a gap around the side of the door, and the dead bolt did not work. The bathroom is very old and needs to be updated, the bathroom door did not shut. The walls are very thin and you here everything in the rooms next you.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely appointed. Overall a good value for a one night stay. The bathroom was a bit frightening... Paint pealing, mildew in the shower... Just needed some love...
Great location, affordable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room smelled musty, bathroom dated.
Patio bar for breakfast & dinner Rooms need washing and upgrades
Can hear everything going on in room next to you.
Old fashioned beach area hotel recently renovated. Really lovely and family run. Full kitchen including dishwasher. Dining Table, living room with flat screen TV, King master bed two night stands and chest of drawers and another flat screen TV, nice size bathroom with glass enclosed shower, huge closet for clothes, two free beach chairs and a beach umbrella. Tile floors through out makes it feel clean instead of rug full of sand. A real gem !! Nothing !!
Location was great, walking distance to most They seemed short staffed, one person for pool bar and pool service. In the restaurant Dinner was delivered, never refilled water or asked if we wanted another wine. We waited before, during & after the meal. Food was OK.
1. I was upgraded to oceanfront. 2. Across from the beach. 3. Oceanfront room 322 was spacious. 4. Staff very friendly. 1. Not many eateries around there. Though Village Cafe very good, short walk. 2. No coffee in room despite having coffee maker. 3. Room 322 had a shower head displaced facing the sink and not moveable so water was not directly on you per se. 4. Soap, though provided, was Irish Spring. Did its job but am used to fancier soaps. 5. Construction next door. Not quite completed.
Staff, rooms and cleanliness!
very clean, very nice staff, bi lingual, helped with everything, very knowledgeable about the area
They were nice rooms clean and close to the beach It's not tht I didn't lik but I didn't know it was a gay hotel maybe a little more of telling when it comes to stuff lik tht
the staff and the excellent service
Very, very friendly staff, cosy and hospitable atmosphere, nice pool and spa, free water and coffee in the room, free internet
Nothing Was cold unfriendly local clicks hang out nosy guests up all night loud pool noise
Everything looks clean, great location, friendly staff
Since we were a couple blocks from the beach the pools we're calm and quiet. We arrived a fewhile hours early and the staff was very accomadating. We would stay again if headed to Fort Lauderdale. The good restaurants were quite a ways away.
Great pool setup, nicely landscaped with friendly staff. Rooms were old and a bit tired.
The room smells smoke
Pool, big HD TV,jacuzzi, fridge, stove, micro, bathtub and friendly helpful staff
La ubicación y la decoración, realmente es tranquilo Pudieran ofrecer una barra de desayuno ya q no hay muchas opciones cerca.
Awesome location, clean rooms, nice people (both staff and guests), nice pools, stress free Make sure to bring your own soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions
The person who welcome was so nice I wish I got here name. She lived on property and was so nice. The bed was very uncomfortable. The outside and surrounding property was awful. Would not stay there again until everything is fixed up.
The hotel was great! We got the king deluxe and the size was perfect! The hotel was very clean! I didn't like that we had a visitor for only three hours and they still made them pay $10 dollars for parking. I wasn't a big fan of Jasmin, she had a little bit of an attitude but the rest of the staff were very nice.
Angel was very cheerful and helpful!
Staff was friendly and location was good. Just a short walk to the beach and shops. Good value. Mattress was basic and pretty firm. The room, in particular the bathroom, was dated and in need of renovations. The pool was right in front and not very private from the street or other rooms. Decorative fountains had green water that needed to be cleaned.
Great hotels, quiet and with quality decoration, it's nice
Very private and very tropical. Very good value. I didn't like the bed.
We loved the rooms, ambience, the folliage, the cozy area of the pool and canopy to play cards...all quite nice!
Charming. Quiet. n/a
The quiet surroundings No not really
