The contemporary design of the newly renovated rooms was beautiful as was the lobby and other common areas. The view of the ocean from our room was fantastic. Good selection at breakfast. Staff was very friendly. The only thing we saw that was negative were the stains on the hallway carpets.
The service and the local peuple sers very good and alsoat thé Buffet was exçellent. The périod of Time end of october was not so busy, but il is not your false.
Handy location to City, helpful staff at reception and cosy room.View was very nice from the hotel. Breakfast selection was excellant. Lobby bar service staff did not pay attention to our arrival or needs at the table - only after 5-10 minutes eye contact did somebody react and approach. They were too busy disscussing with other staff members. This applied to breakfast and snack in the evening. Also Spa had no key to ladies lockers and no towels. At Guest relations we asked for a large mall and were guided to Doc which did not meet our expectations (few shops on one floor).
Pool area was very nice. Staff was excellent, especially at pool restaurant Prices were very high for food and laundry
beautiful city, luxury accommodation and excellent breakfast
Location and breakfast was pretty good Bartender in the hotel beach front bar/cafe
The beautiful outlook! Our shower leaked terribly out into the bathroom and toilet.
Nice view I think the decor is very 'souless'. The carpet in the hotel corridors is very light in colour and is already extremely dirty even though the hotel has only been open a few months.
close the sea and ıt ıs turkey of brand ıt can be more details
Staff excellent, buffet breakfast-excellent choice Hotel too contemporary, concrete & looked like a prison in parts1!, Lack of sunbeds, small pool, didn't feel like a 5* hotel (have been in plenty), a good 20 minute hike to dubrovnik, bathroom had glass walls apart from loo, so having a shower in view not ideal, weedy flower bed on balcony & intermittant buzzing sound ?generator-continuously, ongoing works in hotel & damp patches, pool toilets
Thoroughly enjoyed the spa and pool area, so much was available for free use for guests.
good breakfast, big rooms, nice location on sea staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, rooms not cleaned well enough and shower see through from bedroom
location was not bad. Very close to the bus stop, takes about 15 minutes to get to Old Town. very good breakfast. Rooms were very dated, was like going back to the 70's.Had very heavy rain on the first night and the room got very flooded which was not very pleasant
Excellent location, great food, a very good hotel that I would have no problems recommending. Checkout time of 10 am was too early. Breakfast ended at 10am checkout should be 11 am
balcony with sea view, reception staff breakfast service understaffed, pool too cold
i thought the food was very good, better in fact than a four star hotel i stayed in at split. the service also very good and the rooms comfortable.
Breakfast is very nice in the hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quite far from the old city and there was not alot to do near the hotel. There is a bus service that goes from outside the hotel very regularly and only costs around €1.50 but the buses stop going at around 11 at night and taxi drivers almost double their prices at these times because they are the only transport after 11.
Breakfast in the morning was brilliant, a great selection and excellent quality food. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Very clean, nice friendly staff, quiet area which was great to relax in. Easy to get into the old city.
Quiet location with convenient bus service to centre Poor choice at breakfast for vegetarians!
Lovely location - good sized room. Nice breakfast. The reception staff were rather slow and disorganised. To check out I had to see three different people and they forgot to return my credit card.
The seaview and proximity to the sea, the tranquility. Knowing was our honeymoon they gave us a champagne as a present and also a room with Sea view you couldn't use the restaurant's terrace beside the sea.
The accomodation was excellent and the staff very attentive. It was a good hotel for a relaxed family week away. The food(as everywhere else in Croatia) was unimaginative and expensive.Five Star Hotels should not serve frozen food items on their menu, the fish was not fresh and yet the prices were what one would expect in Paris.
Great view from all hotels windows. Too poor breakfast for a 5-star hotel.
The location was perfect, 90% of the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were great, the Hotel itself was pure luxury and the food was of very good quality, particularly the choice for Breakfast. The quality of the coffee from the machine for Breakfast was very poor - it then broke down for days and there was no nofication to say coffee was being served by the staff.
It's ideal for relaxation. None
Everything was cared for perfectly and the staff were very friendly!! Perfect views for our honeymoon!
Service -- weekday omelette station girl remembered my order; waiter at bar also remembered our order. Double bed vs single King; the restaurant by pool was not the best-- was not value for money spent.
sea views and spacious public areas. helpful staff. food was poor with poor choice. breakfast hot drinks were never hot. external public areas (pools, bars, other restaurants all closed). 60 min massage only lasted 45 mins but charged for 60 and felt rushed.
The beach and pool set-up the quality of food and the relatively high prices of beverages
Nothing was too much trouble from the very friendly staff at The Dubrovnik Palace Hotel. A lovely atmosphere, which made us thoroughly enjoy our holiday.
Choice of pools, restraunts were very nice,
Lots of parking, incredible view, staff was friendly and curtious and always helpful trying there best to make our stay a great experience. The restaurant prices were expensive, but again the staff was great.
The location was excellent, with wonderful views out to sea. The staff were very friendly and gave great service. All in all we would recommend this hotel and would'nt hesitate to stay there again.
Staff were friendly and welcoming at reception and SPA Every thing was over all very good.
Peaceful, friendly, spotless, gorgeous spa and spa services Restaurants are very expensive - but true of all Dubrovnik restaurants
Our stay was a total disappointment, as the rooms we bought as 'sea view' were in fact only 'partial' - indeed, minimal - sea view. The hotel loses all its meaning without that view and becomes an ordinary luxury hotel. The lack of available rooms and the need to pass through a restaurant to reach our miserable rooms.
Like everything, simply excellent in all aspects. Will definitely be back if I am in Dubrovnik again.
Efficient and helpful management. When our original room was too cold, the manager personally escorted and installed us in the Presidential suite, which was beautiful, and at no additional cost.Staff all equally polite and helpful. Lovely location with superb views.
The location was perfect, a nice walk to the old city and the view from the room was beautiful. Staff were very helpful.
a convenient distance from the old town nothing
Spa pool & lift access to beach Bed sheets were slightly too small
Very modern (maybe you can't imagine from photos on website) and good value for money. I can recommend to anyone. Some of staffs have very limited information for tourists. One guy doesn't know even local bus routes.. A hotel pool is pretty and clean but bit small for a number of guests staying at this hotel.
Even though outside Dubrovnik there was easy access to the city. No large bath towels only a bath robe which was wet in the evening if you wanted to take another shower.
Excellent location and staff, facilities, food very good. The restaurant waiters need to smile a little more.
Good location overlooking Gruz harbour -very atmospheric.Hotel spotlessly clean with excellent pool and good breakfast. Also near -20 meters away a good value and friendly bistro type restaurant with lovely terrace. Did nat sample the half board option -buffet style dinner did not appeal.
The dinner at the hotel was excellent price/quality. The hotel is also located in a really nice and quiet area, still the old town is easily accessed. We did give some negative feedback at the hotel and quite honestly the staff were not able to handle complaints that well.
Except for one porter the rest of the staff were helpful, lovely hotel, good food The Porter we met on first day, very unfriendly, had to go up 3 seperate lifts to get to our room, he did not even offer to carry my wifes bag.
Charming and helpful staff. the price of the meals & drinks. Happy hour would have been nice.
Brilliant combination of a modern facility in a beautiful building. Good location and friendly staff.
Friendly staff, very clean with lovely bathroom and rain shower, modern and good location for both Lapad and bus into city -right outside hotel. Good breakfast too Everything was really good, but as it was October hair con was turned off and was very hot in the rooms unless you kept window open all day
Great hotel - luxurious room, very large bed. This was a standard room, but the view over terraced gardens was lovely. Very attractive building, great pool and delicious breakfast. Not cheap, but much better value than some of the hotels in the old town. Also, well-located (less than 10 mins on the bus to Pile gate) and bags more charm that some of the soul-less large hotels in Lapad. Would definitely stay here again.
I think the location is the best for visiting Dubrovnik. The indoor pool is large and has lots of lounge chairs to relax. the area also has two Jacuzzis, a dry sauna, a steam room and a wellness spa, all good. I think the hotel management could improve on signage. In particular the sushi restaurant is not easy to find.
A very good traditinal hotel, very good location. The size of the room too small for a 5 stars hotel The massages at the spa were un professinal. The Taverna restaurant was mediocar
Being next to Adriatic Sea and facing the old town of Dubrovnik and walking distance to the old town, the spa facilities in the hotel and the wonderful terrace where you can eat or drink and helpful staff makes Excelsior Hotel a perfect place to stay. Nothig at all.
free bundance of hotel towels by sunbathing area breakfast had great selection hotel very clean and spotless staff on reception very helpful. standard room was a bit small for price, although you have to accept it's little fault compared to hotel location.
Hotel location. Nice view.
situation , sight, beach, parking service is not always what can be expected of a five star hotel
Location & view. Food & service was also very good. Some of the rooms at the back are very small & look out onto a wall. We changed room after one night and the second one was much better. I would have liked tea & coffee making facilities in the room.
the pool and spa facilities as well as the location; from my room I have an excellent view from Dubrovnik medieval city I would not recommend the restaurant for dining. The food quality is not proportional to the price
The location of this fabulour hotel was perfect. We had a spectacular view of the city walls and the ocean. The balcony was screened for privacy. The terrace also had great views. The breakfast buffet was excellent. All the staff were helpful. The spa treatment - wonderful.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Location and lots of options for things to see, activities, and places to eat and drink.
Extremely friendly staff very accomodating.
Friendly staff and clean rooms, bus to downtown really close to hotel, outstanding breakfast ! Totally worth to stay and great value for the money (free WiFi) :) Dubrovnik city is amazing !!!
This is not a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3 (but it seems that all Croatian Hotels have inflated their stars by at least 1, based on 5 hotel stays). Our family room for 4 was actually 2 connected hotel rooms (changes perception of price) and we were ground floor with a view of the car park. This was a special holiday for the family and we moved after a night. The staff were helpful with this.
too far away from the city - a long bus ride if one even exists
Staff were not that friendly. No atmosphere in the hotel. Expensive for what you get
Great staff, location good although a 10 min bus ride to the old town. we walked it in an hour. fantastic swimming pool.
The only good thing about the hotel is the pool and that it is on the bus route to the old city. In the morning the cleaners kept letting the doors slam which made it very hard to sleep. bar and restaurant closed early. vERY much a hotel for older couples and familys.
Environement - a bit away from the hectic, i.e. not being in middle of town. A bit noisy. Especially when people go to their rooms - voices carry very well. The closing of the room door when you pull the handle is very loud.
The sea was close by and the pool was lovely. The staff were always friendly and well informed about what was going on in the area. All meals were buffet style and there was no room service. There was also no facilities to get even a snack upon arrival at night as it was outside of restaurant times.
easy to get to dubrovnik as regular, cheap, pleasant bus. hotel ok but nothing special. breakfast good - pleasant buffet. very loud music outside our bedroom till 12.40pm, both nights. told as it was not their facility, they couldn't stop it. unapologetic.
We really enjoyed our experience here. We loved the pool area located right on the sea with a beautiful view of old town. It was nice to be able to take a dip in the pool or jump in the sea as the weather heats up. The rooms were well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is less than a ten minute walk to old town. Breakfast was great, it even include mimosas!
The view from the hotel was amazing, the hotel is in need of a update. Very close to old city Dubrovnik
Reception and welcome on arrival exemplary-friendliness of staffa feature-positionseparate from town itself but with very easy access though extremely comfortable,a little dated though that not a bad point.,only compared to the most up to date hotels
Great location overlooking Old City. Excellent facilities right on the edge of the Adriatic. Hotel needs additional internet facilities for a hotel of its size and prestige. Transport to hotel was difficult especially on arrival into city from airport.
The staff was excellent, and it is in a great location a short walking ditance from the old City of Dubrovnik. The jacuzi shut down at 8:00 p.m., making it impossible to use for an after-dinner soak. The outdoor swimming pool and the beach were posted as being off limits.
Polite, caring and friendly staff. Excellent location and views. Comfort and cleanliness We would have valued access to an clothes iron to simply tidyup a few items of clothing
Pool side and main lobby as well as convenient parking. Also front desk staff were warm and accomodating. There were several things that did not function properly, the safe needed to be opened 3 times with master key and also and also the hair dryer hose was broken. Also for a 5 star the services by staff were not up to expectation, ie buffet breakfast was not top quality as well as cappucinos, espresso or machiato were extra charges. Also room was quite small.
The scenery from the hotel was terrific. There were computers free to use in the business center, WiFi was available, also free, but only in the hotel lobby and business center areas. I received a room in a building across the street from the hotel- no elevator to reach the room. The last day I was there it rained heavily, and running across the street to get back to the hotel, across a heavily traveled street was not what I had expected from a "luxury" hotel. How this place gets a rating of 5 stars is a mystery. If the hotel is, in fact, 5 stars, how can the building across the street also be 5 stars? I would not have reserved this hotel for the room across the street, and this was not revealed to me in advance. I feel ripped-off.
Excellent hotel , great location, beautiful and luxury, i love the outside swimingpool and the view. i made reservations for a doble room, but they never told me anything about been located in a front building and not he main building, i was told about that after i check in, it was ok but across the street not the main hotel building
This hotel is friendly and very comfortable and we had a reat stay. Not as expensive as you might think a 5 star hotel could be
Great location. Stunning sea view room.Top hotel.
The hotel was easy to find and was nicely located. Easy walking distance to "old city".
food, staff and all was excellent wish wifi was free
Staff was great and very accommodating. Restaurant menu choices were likited
Old 19th century style hotel with modern conveniences just outside walls of Old City
Fantastic hotel and service, great place to visit. Could have more evening entertainment, but not really a problem.
Location Breakfast standard, but not excellent for a Hilton
the staff the rug
Staff attitude and when checked online and arrived no rooms was available eventhough I Have been charge on may credit card
The hotel itself is great, centrally located etc but what makes this place special is its people. Everyone I interacted with went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant one. They genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy! I don't have anything bad to say about this place
Its location at the entrance to the old city and close to beaches. We were promised rooms with a view of the sea or the garden, but were given rooms at the back of the hotel with a view of an interior cement courtyard.
It was a very convenient position for exploring the city but could do with better lounge facilities - quite expensive and certainly not 5 star quality
We were upgraded and we arrived very early into Dubrovnik and the staff allowed us into the room early which was wonderful as it was a very wet and cold day. This has made a great impression on us.
The staff was friendly and the location was good (short walk to old town). Our stay was not enjoyable. The hotel caters to over 65's, our room was on the ground floor and had a view of a hedge, the shower was not good, and the price was insane.
That it was convenient to get to the old town This hotel might be good by Croatia standards but it's far from luxury and I stayed in the "romantic room". the service is poor and the food is terrible. Not a 4* hotel!
We were on honeymoon and it was very relaxing. Staff very friendly and not intrusive. The breakfast ie fry - very greasy! Food in restaurant was also not good, food not cooked properly.
we found the service to be very poor and were very disappointed
The Croatian people. Hotel facilities and internet access are limited. Little use made of all the space top improve holiday facility access at the hotel. Beautiful location. Lack of internet access in the rooms, small gym, limited facilities available onsite like table tennis etc, all were at other hotels, yet this was the 4 star hotel.
The Wellness is great ... but some towels should be available without asking. The breakfast was very nice. The room was superiour, as ordered. The hotel could use some small renovations in order to get it to a 5 * hotel again (bathroom / stairs / removal of old fashioned carpetry in the hall ways / ...)
Wanted somewhere to relax and unwind, ideal location for this
Friendly clean Had no control with air condition
The staff were helpful and friendly and quite accommodating - that makes a big difference. The room was large which was really nice. The location was beautiful and the outdoor cafe with the view was great. The lifts are weird and slow. The dinner menu was ok but i think it could be better. A childrens play area would be nice. The cleaners should clean the balconies.
Wonderful setting with large well-designed rooms. Excellent facilities in hotel with breath-taking views. Would recommend Bed & Breakfast. Evening meal was very overpriced and staff cleared up around us before 9pm. So eat in town - buses leave from outside hotel and go direct.
I loved the free sun loungers provided at the beach and the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The elafite a la carte restaurant was very poor. The shower in our room always flooded the bathroom due to bad positioning of the shower head facing the door of the shower. Bar closed very early.
simply exciting to have the lift for the beach, sauna and pool in the same hotel! a la carte restaurant had to few choises
The location, view, facilities, indoor pool too shallow and too small for hotel size. too many children
New and modern hotel with a lot of facilities, excellent beach.
Beautiful spa and hotel grounds. Food was of poor quality and expensive. Hotel was operating with a skeleton staff and limited facilities.
No shops open.
Room design, Facilites, Outside pools. Loud children in the spa area (supposed relax zone), no service by the inside pool.
We had an wonderfull appartment with a huge terase and a see view. The hotel was at his beginings and was not crawded at all. The music in the evenings was very nice. It is relativelly closed (but 17 km far) to dubrovnik so we could visit the city too without too much effort. Visiting Dubrovnik with the hotel taxi boat was very nice too. The Cilantro reastaurant was a very pleasant one. - in the bathrooms there were no hairdryer; in the fish market restaurant it happened that we ordered 2 homars and on the recept were 9 portions of shellfish (we disovered that the next day and did not follow up, but...)
The hotel just opened, so all facilities are fresh and clean. Staff is friendly but obviously stressed. Beach is 1 minute away - very convenient, can be quite windy however. The airconditioning kept pumping cold air into the room no matter what we did with the switch. Only opening the balcony door stopped the flow, but then we were bothered by the noise outside. The hotel just opened, hope they can fix all the bugs soon.
Its a wonderful hotel. The facilities are beautiful, the staff is friendly and its within a short drive (about 15 min) from Dubrovnik. I would highly recommend this hotel. Also, its a brand new hotel, it opened on July 1, 2009. no
Teething problems ++ no hot water-have to ask 5 times -bar not refilled "" phones not working--lighting in computer area " staff nice enough to overcome this Above
The rooms are very stylish, modern and clean (not too big but the big balcony is a nice plus). Good value spa&sauna (not top-notch but decent) with very friendly and professional staff. Fantastic location on the beach with great views if you don't mind being out of Dubrovnik (about 10km out). With some bits and bobs improoved could be one of the nicest Radissons I've stayed at. The reservation made trough booking.com was not received at the hotel or it was lost. Slightly inconvenient time waster upon arrival but the reception staff was fair and honestly sorry about it. The staff in the buffet dinner / breakfast restaurant (and elsewhere too) was fairly loose since it was off season (talking aloud, joking with one another), so if you're there to enjoy a quiet dinner.. well, you get the picture. A big minus: one of the waiters serving and preparing tables was picking and scratching his nose all the time whilst making sounds like he's about to spit. Something that you definitely do not expect while eating at 5-star hotel.
Terrace/Patio in Room Restaurant Staff Pool/Spa Two single beds
a very friendly and comfortable hotel, great sea view from our room, good bus connection to the old city. No internet connection in the room and poor internet service in the lobby.
The breakfasts were fantastic - great range for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Good transport links. Indoor pool a bit small - but then they usually area in most hotels.
Nice balcony and bathroom. Dull room decor, bed wasnt a double, just two single beds pushed together so hard to snuggle close to your partner. May as well had been single beds. Okay breakfast - horrible coffee and had to pay for a cafe style latte - should have been included with breakfast.
The helpfulness of the staff. The wellness centre charged alot for everything.
staff were extremely courteous helpful & friendly bus service excellent stop outside door to old town 10 min approx & just over 1 euro regular service indoor & outdoor swimming pool with elevated site & good views walking distance to local restaurants & bars no
good view, wellness center, smells very standart breakfest, if guest stay long period changes are required, no own beach
Conveniently on the bus route into Dubrovnik
Very helpful, friendly staff. Bus to city centre leaves from right outside the hotel. Indoor pool with lovely view of the bay. Great breakfast buffet each morning. Lighting in the restaurant and bar was very bright so there was not much atmosphere.
Location and relaxing atmosphere. ONe of the best breakfasts.
Excellent services from Customer desk Restaurant quality below par for a 4 star hotel.
practically everything no
basic good breakfast, Free parking, Helpful and nice staff.
Everything about this hotel was fantatic, in particular the staff who were more than helpful in every way. No
Everything! We were a group of four and all agreed the family run hotel was the most welcoming we had ever experienced, either individually or collectively. The kindness, warmth and hospitality of the family and their staff was just wonderful. Not applicable
Everything about this hotel was excellent. The staff were exceptionallly friendly and the atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed but professional. The rooms were amazing and our room in particular had a fantastic sea view and a huge balcony.
courtesy of desk staff
Our week at the Berkeley was a delight ! An excellent family-run boutique hotel in a convenient part of town close to Gruz Harbour. The owners (Maria and family) obviously take great pride in what they do.Superbly furnished, quiet and spotlessly clean rooms. Very good breakfasts, buffet and hot. Efficient and friendly front desk service . No pool yet, but this will be added at the end of 2010. Otherwise everything was exemplary.... we'd head back in an instant !
A wonderfully appointed new hotel with great views and generous sized rooms that were modern, clean and with high attention to detail. The hotel was beautifully finished. Breakfasts were superb. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive to all travellers needs and requests. Location was close to all transport for ease of arrival/departure to Dubrovnik and access to the old town. A perfect place to stay for singles, couples young or old and families. Overall excellent. We can't wait to return for our next holiday!!!
The hotel is situated in the Port Gruz area with excellent, easy, and very affordable access to the ferries, bus station, and city bus line. The staff was very helpful and our room was very clean and lovely, complete with a small balcony and kitchenette. Overall, we felt it was a good value.
Access to nearby tourist attractions were excellent. Hotel staff (receptionists, restaurant staff, cleaning staff, et al) were very friendly. Good quality breakfast was provided at a restaurant facing a square....good ambiance. Suggestions by hotel receptionists on 1) opening times of tourist attractions and 2) restaurant recoccomendation, 3) airport transportation were not accurate. They were all very enthusiastic and friendly, though.
The whole experience.
The location. The discretion of the staff. The breakfast. The decor The smell from the sewage
Fantastic location in the Old City. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful stff. Hard to find and only accessible on foot. Older folk with baggage would find thid hard to do. We arrived about 11 p.m. and had to walk through the Old City with our bags. Someone finally directed us and we did get there.
It is elegant but also very friendly and comfortable. The situation in the old town is full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. I was on a winter break with my husband and I would recommend it highly. We did have to walk (5 mins) from the old town gate as cars cannot drive up to the hotel, but this added to the charm. No
location..location...location The fact that it was my birthday and I was given a cake and a gift. A la carte breakfast included..Beautiful little Hotel not one complaint
Very welcoming I arrived late at night and would have had difficulty finding the hotel if I had not been met by the hotel's porter. It is worth noting that there is no car park within 200 metres of the hotel, so it is preferable to be fit and agile, as Dubrovnik Old Town is full of steps and cobble stones.
Everything was really amazing and beautiful
The breakfasts were very good. The value for money was poor in that for a five star hotel there were no facilities, eg lounge, gym, pool, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much but did not think that the price or the five star status were merited.
Beautiful old building, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. No.
The hotel was centrally located in the walled city with access to easy parking. Spacious room with included breakfast. The Staff were amazing, friendly and filled with information and recommendations. Super friendly and in a beautiful city. We liked every thing!
The location was fantastic. Only a 15min walk with our luggage to our ferry. The room was huge and the air-con was a godsend with the heat outside. Didn't like the "double bed" which was in fact two singles combined but with a wooden partition in the middle. Did a lot of damage to myself when I collapsed onto the bed on arrival only to smack my head off the thing!
It's comfortable and not far from the old city.Room was clean, staff polite and helpful.
Excellent breakfast, comfortable and spotless rooms, adequate lift, good access to public transport and helpful staff. Located on a busy road, light traffic noise.
Modern. Nice big room. Very good breakfast.
A very pleasant stay. Nice room and great bathroom and the price was fantastic. A great location and really helpful staff. I would definitely recommend.
Breakfast included was okay, including bacon / eggs / sausages; 44 euro per night during low season was good value; most front desk staff were pleasant (they seemed to rotate quite often); relatively large room; free parking; free internet; bus stop close by or, alternatively, a good 40 minute walk into town. Although there were few people staying during November, and the room was of reasonable size, we were still allocated one of the smaller rooms of the hotel (room 314); the TV was problematic (mixed colours were broadcast); room had a 'funky' smell; safe did not work; focus of hotel seemed to be on tours which the hotel seems to specialise in, rather than individuals guests
very clean, spacious rooms, good parking. Friendly, helpful english-speaking staff. no tea-making facilities in rooms
the staff help you and answer for any quintions, easy to get the old city, (by bus),aircondition in the room not
good rate, good location, good service
Fair price for the location, spacious room, large balcony, good breakfast Requested a non-smoking room, although this wasn't guaranteed, by being given a smoking room it would put me off staying in the hotel again.
Staff are friendly, close to the sea, and easy to access the Dubrovnik old town by the number 4 bus! In other words, a good hotel in a good location!
It was in a very good position for everthing no
The friendliness of the staff. The beds and pillows very comfortable
The location was good - close to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Food was poor, service poor, quality of room poor and overall value for money very, very, very poor. Please never stay here! Awful hotel!
Friendly staff, willing to please.
The hotel was clean and comfortable
the facilities the bedroom. especially the bathroom cleanlinesss not very good when we arrived
Pizza restaurant was terrific A little farther from the city venter than we expected. They have shuttle vans but would not use them to take us into the city.
The buffet breakfast was great..couple of times they ran out of food but it was quickly replenished. The waitstaff in the dining room never smiled...other hotel staff were much more friendly.
Friendly Staff, Good location
Good and nice location, good food old furniture in the room
the pool and activities lack of information on excursions etc in english and when asked staff to provide such info, we were told no
friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good food
Easy access with bus to old town, friendly staff, nice pool, free bikes, a lot of activities, nice green area, Restaurant not to good organized, always empty with food, you have to wait, open kitchen = a lot of smell, little variation of food. Poorly designed building for baby carrier or wheel chair. Cleaning lady forgot to empty garbage, ran out of toilet paper.
We stayed in this hotel for one night and was overrun by many many bus groups. When it came to dinner and breakfast, it was a buffet which was magnificent but was like a stampede to get near any of the food and the guests were really rude. This is not the hotels fault but this hotel does not seem suitable for a young couple.
The entertainment team were very good and the facilities for kids are awesome. Rooms are on the small side and we had no balcony.
The hotel and entertainment were great the staff were very helpful and the food was healthy and well presented, we had a great family holiday. We almost changed the hotel after reading some reviews and we were so glad we went to the hotel. Its in walking distance of bars and eating places of sea walks and east access to dubrovnic. no
close to sea receptionists
The all-inclusive option made the holiday very enjoyable The tiles around the lovely pool are very slippery when wet.
We liked all the recreation facilities, the pool and the easy way to get to the beach. Food was good if you take into account the huge number of guests. Always fresh fruit with the meals. Sometimes the staff was very busy and would not take the time to give advice. A vacuum cleaner under the bed would be very advisable!!! Recreation should be suited for public. Think of the grandpa's en ma's in September.
very nice personnel, very quiet, very clean, nice trees basic hotel rather than luxury (we did not care)
The area where the hotel was situated was not very nice, i.e. Lapad Bay.
Excellent location and helpful, friendly staff Nothing
very friendly staff. relaxing afternoon menu was the same as evening menu. food excellent quality especially the seafood
The location & sea views were excellent, the staff were friendly & helpful, there was easy access to a private beach area & nearby bay, with clear, shallow waters (good for families with children or adult swimmers), easy access to Dubrovnik city centre (10-20 min bus ride from a stop outside the hotel grounds). On our first night we were given a standard double with a shower, which had a limited sea view. However, we were offered the chance to move to a larger twin room with a wonderful view of the sea and gardens, and a larger bathroom, with a bath which was much better for my child.
Friendly staff proximity to sea
Sitting on the patio looking at the sea, swimming and playing tennis.Hotel is in a great location with a wonderful sea view, excellent nearby restaurants and promenade and easy access to bus to the city. While the staff was pleasant they were not that helpful when it came to recommending restaurants, rather they tried to get us to eat at the hotel.
Very close to the centre of town Very hard to find parking!
Friendliness of staff is genuine, location is good, beach is arguably the nicest in the bay, a nice place to relax.
The hotel was good, we liked it as it was a short bus ride from all the tourist location which meant it was nice and quite after a lively day in the old town. We liked the position of the hotel in Lapad Bay. We did not take our children with us but I think that there seams to be a lack of facilities for children of all ages but we did go at the end of season.
