Le Meridien is always a solid hotel and this is another example of a beautiful hotel near Split.
Some features ar e a little outdated.
Breakfast. Very nice.
The Hotel was out of town but it was easy to use the local bus service to get in and out of town. The Hotel was wonderful with great facilities ie spa, swimming pool and beach if you preferred to swim in the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room we had was spacious and clean.Other restaurants were nearby if you felt like a change. I would recommend the nearby Pizza restaurant which is only a 5 minute walk away from the Le Meridien.
Very bad service in restaurant and too expensive.
The breakfasts are excellent. The Spa is a very good feature. The rooms are large. The staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is right on the stony beach, there are plenty of sun beds and there are some nice local restraunts.
It's a very large, top quality, but mainly tour operator and business orientated conference hotel. There are no drawers for clothes in the bedroom. There are no in room tea/coffee facilities, and no trouser press. The main restraunt lacks any sort of atmosphere and is expensive.
excellent room - suite looking out over the sea. good staff at check in/out - very welcoming. Evening bar a great place to sit out and watch the sun set.
very busy pool and bathing areas - looked like lots of non-hotel guests + food options by pool very poor.
The hotel itself was most comfortable with very good facilities. The staff were very helpful and courteous.
The shuttle service into Split was totally inadequate. We had to use taxis and the bus as there were too many people for the shuttle. The wardrobe in the bedroom needed shelf space and much less hanging space.
THe faclities and especially the staff who were uniformly excellent in all respects.
Breakfast was very good
The staff at the hotel is a bit clueless! Not very profesional
All of the bars and the excellent, friendly staff that worked in them, the restaurant with excellent food, the swimming pool that makes you think you are swimming in the sea,the fantastic diocletian spa especially the hot beds and steam room, the casino where i ended up winning at poker.
The food in the pizza bar was awful
We got a great deal because of the time of year that we went (March 2007). We really got a lot of value for money. It was a very impressive hotel with friendly staff.
