The location was great. The facility was clean, and the maid service was friendly, prompt and efficient.
The staff was not friendly and caused issues when trying to check-in despite having directions clearly written on the reservation. The room was tiny, and we were right next to the fitness center and had to listen to dung bells being dropped all day and night. The rooms didn't have any hotel information on them--we had no idea where the ice maker was or how to order room service. The rooms didn't have refrigerators, and trying to get a hold of the front desk from the room was impossible.
The house keeping staff was friendly and proficient. The location is great for the opera, ballet, symphony and museums, which was the reason for the visit.
The TV had a poor cable connection and was not fixed three days after reporting it to the front desk. There was only one chair in our king room so someone had to sit on the bed.
Comfy bed, clean rooms
Mandatory $25/day "facilities fee" on top of what you pay on priceline, kayak, etc. Don't fall for it! When we turned on the bath and sink, water poured out brown. Elevators are small and slow -- not nearly enough for so many floors.
The hotel was centrally located. Beautiful inside and out. Clean and the staff was very helpful. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.
Elevators small and slow.
Midtown location near Central Park and many restaurants. Up-to-date rooms Friendly staff
Slow elevator service during busy times Somewhat pricey
Remarkably spacious room, nicely decorated, suitably quiet at night.
I had reserved a king size bed--the room had instead, a queen size
Excellent location, very close of Central Park, Times Square, Broadway, restaurants and public transportation. The room with good space and clean.
The elevators are not enough to attend the demand. Just two available, and not too big, generating long lines and taking to much time to move from the lobby to the apartment and vice-versa.
It was amazing!
It didn't have a restaurant of their own nor a breakfast.
The staff was super friendly any time we came in contact with them. The beds were comfy and the room clean. Considering 4 girls were sharing a double bed room, the space was decent. The location is wonderful! The subway was around the corner, Central Park was 4 blocks down, you could see Time Square from the door and 5th Ave and Museums were very close. It was a nice stay/place overall!
The walls are really thin so we had to be really mindful of that. The first morning we woke up there, housekeeping came in EARLY, around 8, and we asked them to come back later as we were all still sleeping. The "courtyard" is not what it sounds like and we had a terrible view but that was not a priority to us and they asked if we'd rather have a view, we would just have to wait until the 4 o'clock check in. Other than those very minor things it was great!!
The room was very large for a New York room. We had a decent view, even though we got a pretty cheap room. The room was spacious with plenty of charging outlets. There were plenty of common areas to sit. The market was very reasonably priced and had delicious sandwiches, coffee, etc. The staff was friendly and professional. The location was outstanding for going to the theater or going to central park. Tip - park your care across the street at 888 7th Ave. Icon parking garage using a coupon. It's much cheaper than the hotel parking, and couldn't be closer.
My room was definitely more spacious that other hotels I have been in the city. It's located at a very good spot in the city, easy to get around. The bathroom looked like it was recently done.
The lobby staff members weren't super friendly. The elevators weren't too big. They don't give you much blanket unless you specifically ask for it.
Good location Desk helpful for tourist information
No coffee pot in the room
Good location. Requested rooms close together and received rooms next to each other, but not adjoining.
Long wait for the elevators. Called ahead for a refrigerator and asked again when we checked in at noon, but did not receive one. Don't count on getting one! Checked in with 4 people per room, but they only put two or three towels in the room each day.
