Wonderful place to stay!
Very centrally located. Wonderful charm about the property. Staff is excellent. Rooms a bit small but cozy and q so quaint. Place was immaculate and a lot charm. Cait greeted us with tremendous smiles and was helpful to get us about town with great suggestions. Will return.
Rooms on the small side.
Great stay on a quieter side of the green
The location, staff and facilities were amazing. Booked via kayak and got a great deal for this place
At the center of Dublin
The experience overall was great. Exactly what I wanted: great location, clean and good value. That is exactly what I found here. I would recommend and stay there again!
The room was extremely small and the TV was dated but that being said I wasn't in Dublin to stay in my room. Therefore, it worked for me perfectly. One thing to take note is that the walls are very thin, I had to block my ears during the night since I could hear the noise from the street and the hotel neighbours when they came in.
Stellar location and very friendly staff. Excellent value. Nothing fancy, but nice and comfortable accommodation in the heart of the city.
We stayed 2 night during the snow in late November. The room was wonderfully warm, cosy and welcoming. The staff were very pleasant and helpfull. The location was great, idealy situated on the beautiful St. Stephens Green and so close to shops, restuarents and public transport. The convenience of having secure parking meant no worries or messing about with meters or tickets. Breakfast was pretty good too.
Our room was 2nd floor at the front and was really every bit as noisy as previous reviews had said. The windows are old and not double glazed and this simple measure would make all the dfference. We discovered the working shutters on our second night and they helped.
Breakfast was a pantomime, maybe it was a particularly bad day but it definitely has deterred us from booking again. There was a queue to sit down for 10 mins, then we had to ask for the table to be cleared & wiped. The waitress was huffing & puffing & extremely rude. We then had to ask for knives & this in turn seemed to annoy her & she snapped at my friend. We are in our mid thirties & have travelled a lot & were very surprised & disappointed at this. Reception staff were friendly & helpful but the restaurant staff were awful. It wasn't just our table though as everyone around us was asking for something or other & everyone has either bemused or angry expressions. Very bad service.
breakfast staff & service
The location in the centre of Dublin; shops, bars and restaurants, all in walking distance.
The location in the centre of Dublin; the street side is quite noisy during the night and sleeping with open window is not possible.
Friendly staff, Nice area of dublin, very nice room
Breakfast was a bit small and although our room was lovely it was at the front and a bit noisy
It was clean and comfortable and staff were great
The breakfast was ? but for the location and price it was ok, I suppose.
Location
The curtains were filthy and I could hardly bear to touch them
Location on Stepens Green - proximity to bars, restaurants and shops etc
Decor - could do with some updating
I order 2 no-smoking room, but in my room, someone had have a big cigar before me. I was asked to move to another room, but have to say no, because I want to have my old father at the same floor.
