The location of this beautiful hotel is central and convenient for a city trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable We had diner in the restaurant and that was not that good.
The welcome from all the staff and the couresy and kindness shown to us at all times. We did not enjoy the canned music in the lift. A shower cap could be provided.
good location no free internet connection and poor TV. extras for a young child
Central location. Comfortable bed. Room was rather dark and had no additional lighting options. Wardrobe rails far too high for comfortable access of hanging clothes.
Breakfast and ambiance The size of the swimmingpool was a bit disappointing
Very nice, high quality hotel with friendly staff
Veri friendly staff, very luxurious rooms. Noisy - room windows not noiseproof.
Surprisingly friendly place with generous rooms that were well presented. Staff were very helpful with our baby. Useful small gym, pool and sauna area. The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, and some of the detailing lacked quality in the finish.
The duvet and pillows were amazing! Loved the whole luxury feel of the hotel when I entered as well. The receptionist told us the wrong time for breakfast, so we missed it. The check out time was far to early - the room was booked for a day (24 hours) should be able to check out 24 hours later.
room + staff + location
It's in the middle of an ongoing building site - the heating does not work - the staff claimed not to know about my early check in requirement - the staff claimed the only room available was a suite at extra cost rather than the one I had booked - parking was non-existent and staff unconcerned
The most comfortable hotel that I have ever stayed in A lot of building work in the local area
everything was very nice No
Excellent hotel, staff friendly and helpful, overall very good value.
The beds must be some of the best I have slept on. I travel constantly and live in hotels. This is better than my own house! Room is well sized and the decor is amazing. I had to point out to them that their pay channel TV was not functioning. They kept on telling us that the engineers are busy fixing it and will only take another 30 minutes. Needless to say.....3 days later we were still waiting for the engineers to fix it. The fact that they are currently building around the hotel makes it very noisy untill about 16:00 on a Friday.
very comfortable rooms good room service outside hotel alittle scuffy meals expensive
location, room (superior) v. comfortable; quiet despit warnings of construction nextdoor no Internet upon arrival, took more than 1h to solve the problem - then only through cable
The quietness, the space in the room.
Excellent location in Centre of the Hague, very close to train station. Hague is only 30 minutes from Schipol Airport. Beds are very comfortable. Showers / Bathroom is clean and functional. Staff and services are a bit hit and miss. Internet and TV was not working. Breakfast is overpriced. My morning alarm call (from receptionist)mysteriously disappeared!
big room high garage fee, bad parking possibility
The location was fantastic ... really central. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was great and reasonably priced. Will definitely come back! Nothing ... I loved it all!!!
The location of the hotel and the pleasant and helpful nature of the hotel staff were the best aspects of the Hotel. I cannot think of anything that I did not like.
Very good staff, exelent location also good parking in hotel. No elevator from garage.
the staff were so friendly and helpful, very accomidating. lovely modern feel to the hotel, loved the bathrooms
Good staff, everything clean and sparkling
The hotel was in a great central location with very clean and modern rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.
location is perfect, staff is good and friendly i am used to a higher class of hotels
Close to the center of the city
Central location friendly staff
Modern room with good equipment. Internet is too expensive (6€/hour), but free public WiFi from the neighbouring library works. Noise from the corridor can be heard through the room door. Expensive breakfast (20€)
Clean, staff friendly and helpful, The last night there the room was not serviced, bed not done up and clean towels wre not provided. I thought the breakfast was extremely expensive for the quality
The rooms were refurbished and very very clean. My child was given a seperate bedroom included in the price. Very central to shops/bars etc.
This time I got the totally new renovated room. And it was superb!! Great bathroom and bed. Very fancy and absolute value for money!
This is a solid, easy-to-use hotel in the center of The Hague. Centrally located, and within walking distance to almost everything. The staff is friendly, helpful, unobtrusive. The rooms are clean, modern.
Excellent hotel in terms of location and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are short on towels and there are no staff at night.
Design and decoration of the rooms Location, although it is close to the city center, it is in a bad area, where one can feel quite uncomfortable. Breakfast not included.
Location was great, access to public tranportation to nearly everywhere. Room was not as cramped as other hotels in the Netherlands. Friendly and helpfull staff. A baby crib was provided in our room. quiet room. fulfilled most of my expectations. Standard practice of not changing sheets each morning by the cleaning person. Probably the same in other hotels in the Netherlands. Nevertheless was changed without hassle when asked. Breakfast too expensive for 18 Euros per person. However many alternatives nearby.
Your staff were excellent - helpful, courteous and pleasant. I stayed at the hotel partly because of the rate and location, however your staff would make me choose this hotel again.
the rooms, the location
I liked the hotel's Central location and good value for money. It was also very quiet which I appreciiated
Very efficient and friendly service and staff. The hotel has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and is in a very convenient and quiet location for the town centre.
Friendly staff, nice room, perfect breakfast. Very small bathroom, no bath, lookeed old.
The location was excellent - very central for all the sights. The checkout receptionist was unfriendly and aloof, to say the least. I left the hotel with rather unpleasant feelings.
- the position of the hotel is excellent - the view from the room window was fabulous - Japaneese dining room is very fashionable
the situation and the building the English-style douche
The room (302) smelled to sweat; staff of the hotel used some air freshener but this didn’t help much. It was as if the windows were not open for long time and the curtains got this smell. The bottom of the curtains was dirty.
Kind and efficient staff The room was a little bit small
The decor and the location No
Quiet and clean rooms, good breakfast. I asked to book parking slot in advance, but when we arrived the private parking was full. We had to use public parking nearby.
it was a very quiet room airco and heating doesn't work to well
Exellent service Polite and caring staff Good location Secure parking
Very quiet! I have stayed at other hotels in Den Haag closer into town and the street noise carries badly. Room was of a generous size and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom not a clean as it could have been. The bottom third of the shower curtain was covered in black mold and stank! Also a lot of hairs left in the bathroom from the previous occupant.
Extensive (by expensive) breakfast. The Brasserie Berlage (directly behind the hotel, but not part of it). Restaurant with very limited menu - and although the Hotel's website mentions a brasserie, there isn't one. Bed not particularly comfortable. Hotel of this standard should have proper hair dryers - no the old fashioned ones on the bathroom wall, which are all but useless.
Plenty of places to sit, relax and talk to others Lack of Tea / Coffee making facilities in the room
The room and breakfast. Service at the bar aggressive, swimming pool un attended and far too cold, three times we had to ask for access when door was locked to pool three times up and downstairs only in the end it had to be unlocked.Poor service reception at this point.
The staff is very helpful, breakfast is good and the rooms are comfortable. Close to the conference center. No tea facility in room and no mini bar. Drinks are in a machine on the landing. Having to rush down the corridor in my pyjamas and coat for water and race back to my room before the elevator door opens on guests is not my idea of entertainment.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room comfortable and clean. The breakfast excellent with a wide choice.
The hotel staff all spoke English and everyone was very helpful. The rooms should have proper hair dryers. The one on the wall is inefficient and gets very hot to hold before you can actually dry your hair. It lets down the rest of the excellent room facilities.
Very nice and helpful staff, modern facilities, reasonable price. But the best thing about this hotel is their breakfast, which, probably, is the best breakfast I have ever had in any hotel. The hotel is located quite far from the downtown and major tourist attractions (except for Madurodam). So, it can be recommended primarily for business travel.
Staff, Comfort, convenience Lack of business facilities
Very pleasant and helpful staff Extrenal noise (my room was near the staff carpark and exit from the kitchen)
Staff was exceptionally good. expensive parking and expensive breakfast.
We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this hotel and were very glad that we'd stayed in Den Haag instead of Amsterdam which was only 50 mins away by train. Set in a lovely quiet area close to public transport (which was frequent and efficient), near lovely shops, great restaurants and even an antique market on Thursdays so it was perfect. The hotel itself was very welcoming and the rooms well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were excellent (try the poached eggs!) and the outside bar area very nice too. The hotel is only 40 mins from Amsterdam airport which is also very convenient for travellers. The charming little city of Delft is only 30 mins away by tram and has a fantastic antique market on Saturdays. No it was all good.
Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and good room
The room is excellent. However the stairs is awful ! The room is excellent. It is not so near to walk from the city center.
Good value for money, but not excellent I have expected more due to photos
The hotel is well maintained. Clean and pleasant.
Very nice hotel. The decor is designed in an old Dutch style mixed with modern amenities, high ceilings, bright windows and very comfortable bed. The breakfast is 23.50 per person, which is a bit steep.
the neighborhood was excellent, although in the center but very quiet and beautiful. not modern at all.
Shopping and restraunts were very accessable. Quiet. View from room was not much chop.
Relaxed staff. Comfortable bed. Bath a bit small. Lacked character.
Reception staff assistance and friendliness; good breakfast with reasonable variety and good cappucino, but expensive as most in The Hague; tea service in room. No in-house restaurant for dinner or for room service; hallway near elevators was very grubby with stains and old dirt; someone's hair on the clean bath towels. note: I recommend hotel for someone what wants quick stay in good place. I stayed 1 night because was moving house locally.
The hotel was better than expected. I The hotel was very near to tram station and to the shpping area, the room and the toilet was clean was clean. The staff was very helpful I really felt I was at home rather than a hotel.
Nice room They told me they didnt have any smoking rooms available, even though i'd booked one. I complained the phone didn't work, but receptio told me it did. They came up later and, of course, it didnt.
Excellent accommodation, good location to WEF and trams. It took too long to check out and because I was in a hurry I did not check the bill and I was overcharged for a breakfast i did not have.
Attractively renovated hotel
My booking promised free wifi but the receptionist did not have this information and so I had to pay for Wifi access at €5 an hour. Neither did the room seem particularly spacious so can only guess that I was allocated a standard room. I did not have a printout of the booking and arrived late so didn't have the energy to argue. Ground floor room, which for a single female was not ideal. Room cold and no extra blankets.
The staff was friendly and tried to help but unfortunately wasnt very knowledgeable i.e. on how to fix things and knowing that the internet connection was down. The breakfast was okay. The mattress wasnt very comfortable, the safe in my room didnt work, the expensive internet connection was down, when i checked out, they tried to charge me an additional 20euros per day.
Size of the room, and away from the street (trams) and coffee/ tea maker in room. Walls needed re-painting and carpets needed replacing (stains)- even though this had been stated before on booking.com!! Contact email address for hotel, when I was delayed in London en route, not checked!
Staff was very friendly, espresso machine & fruit bowl always available. unreliable next-night laundry service could be a problem. Business travelers expect "in by 9, back that evening" service.
clean, quiet, good service, good location
Excellent place in one of the most beautiful areas of Den Haag.
Nice rooms in down town The Hague
Very friendly staff, very comfortable room with luxury bed, good breakfast, everything well-designed and thought out.
The staff were helpful, breakfast was very good, and the bed was comfortable. We had a cot in our room for our son and the sheets smelled musty. We asked for fresh sheets which the staff took care of right away, but by the next day they smelled musty again. The mattress itself must have been the problem.
I liked the staff who is very caring and always ready to help. I also liked the decoration and the design : this hotel is brand new and very modern. It looks like a hotel decorated by a famous designer, thats awesome. I didn't like the fact that you have no space in the room to put your clothes inside and the fact that the elevator is so slow.
Staff was lovely (esp Tesa); inexplicable free upgrade to gorgeous room, 12 ft ceilings, plenty of space. Quiet, sleek eating room and lounge, perfect for working between meetings. Complimentary caffeine beverages all day. Just a wonderful spot - glad to have discovered it, will be back. Stay was too short.
Friendly and helpful staff
everything was perfect
Very good room and pleasant public spaces. Comfortable and clean. Breakffast disappointing
Cuisine and staff attentiveness
Staff were very pleasant and helpful The breakfast was extremely over priced in my view. The coffee was luke warm both mornings.
Very comfortable bed. Internet access is quite expensive.
The receptionests were very helpfull to direct me. The room # 402 was very clean and comfortable with good furnitures. The hotel was in the middle b/w the beachside and city center. (you can use Tram# 1 to go both ways). And walking distance to nice park & Miniature City Madurodam. (Its good for bussiness because the Wolrd Forum is near by & family who knows the city very well). The other staff needs to show more smile and warm welcoming to the guests all the time. The hotel building is an old but the rooms have reinnovated (clean and having confortable room). If they will have special rates next time I will stay in again. The way of counting the internet charges for 24 hours is not fair (they count from Mid day to next Mid day, not from the time you sign in !!!). Some international TVs are chargable.
The emphsis on a good night's sleep was pleasant, The voices of the next room came through quite clearly and loudy through the separating door.
Good location easy access to both the business and leisure facilities the Hague has to offer.
Good environment; fairly central between City Centre and the beach, yet removed from the noise, hustle and bustle of these areas Can't remember any such
Nice, clean hotel with great service. Excellent stay at your hotel. Thanks!
Staff were extremely friendly.
The public and private areas were exceptionally well maintained and the staff were all you would expect from a five star hotel - and more!!
Immaculate facility, tastefully decorated, excellent buffet breakfast Front desk was disorganized; Parking is difficult;
We received a free upgrade to ocean view rooms and that was greatly apprecieated. I found the location on the sea excellent and that combined. An interesting point about this area is that you can stay in a seaside resort and using the well run tram service we had easy access to the Hague. One room did not have a duvet and the carpet smelled of being cleaned just befor we came.
The view of the see, the style and decor of the building, its beachfront location, and accessibility tram stop is just yards away from the front door.
Location Terrible check-in clerk and very bad concierge as regards arranging taxis.
Good bed, wi-fi included, conference within the same building, historical heritage in the architecture, beautiful main hall. There was some noise from the street (youth, tourists). Breakfast not included and rather expensive.
Beautiful location. Vert. Stylish . Poor room quality compared to price. Noisy room. Relatively old rooms.
verry good vallue for money no negative remarks
Location. It was where the conference was held. A distance sense of rusted old times.
Dining room ambience and convenience for both the sea and public transport
Large, comfortable rooms and friendly staff There are no nearby restaurants or shops, which are open in the evenings or on weekends
The location, nice neighbourhood, the hotel is brand new and perfect in every way
very friendly staff, great service, great atmosphere in the hotel, loved the design, good breakfast buffet, great value for money location is central but not close to all tourist attractions, shops etc.
I dont know - all very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nothing!
The rooms we're excellent
Clean rooms, breakfast buffet, 5pm checkout on Sundays A bit far out, but city can quickly be reached with bike or tram/train.
Nice comfortable rooms, clean, nice view, good breakfast The free WiFi is incredibly slow, almost unusable. Since I live in the Netherlands I could use my 4G connection instead, but speed of the Internet should really be improved a lot
The Receptionist was able to get my wife and I checked in very quickly as we were running late for an appointment. The rooms were very clean and modern
Excellent Room Rate was incorrect on checkout - luckily I'd taken a print of the booking.
The hotel, like all NH hotels is well designed without being stuffy. The breakfast was really good and went on until 12 on sunday which is amazing. We were also offered 5pm check-out on the Sunday for no extra charge. Staff were lovely. Would stay there again. Two complaints - the bed was a twin which they said was standard and the location - would have been nice to be a bit closer to the centre as trams end at 12.30. Great hotel for the price though!
I was asked if i would like to have a room with a view of the town bat check in. Fantastic to give me the feeling that i can choose. No other nh hotel i stsyed with has ever asked me that. Keep up the good work. The long line in the morning to chack out.
Short two block walk to one of the main tram lines to the beach and all the way to Delft. A very good experience and a bargin on the special weekend promo.
Not enough choice for vegetarians
Helpful staff, friendly and accommodating of requests, lent me an umbrella when it was raining. Internet expensive and should be built into costs.
went fishing.North sea
Five star service for the price of three star hotel
Lovely hotel. Within walking distance of Madurodam. Had the extra bed for our child all set up in the room. Front desk was very helpful with directions to Delft.
very good for look around the city. kindly staffs. far from the station(HbF)
The staff were fantastically helpful For the price charged, I felt the room's decor was tired and dated
Kindly hotel staff; nice room
Good location, convenient parking, nice room and amenities, we'll be back next time, as we've been there before. The cost of one night's stay parking is absolutely overpriced
My preferred place to stay in the Hague/Scheveningen. Always clean, efficiently run, with an adequate restaurant and an excellent breakfast service--above typical Dutch standards. The rooms are attractive and include a kettle, ironing board, and iron--also above typical Dutch standards.
convenient position, close to public transport no ham for breakfast
The room temperature. It was cool. Often hotel rooms are too hot and I can't cool them down and sleep. On the first night, my coffee wasn't replaced. I need a drink when I get back from work. The tram was quite loud - maybe double glazing ?
nice room, good breakfast, very close to beach, great view, good parking of the car
great location, near beach, dunes, Promenade with bars & restaurants and public transport.
Spacious rooms, small but modern bathroom, wonderful breakfast buffet and close to the main promenade. The sliding door between bedroom and bathroom
location Dinner menu was sightly limited
The view. The hotel staff called on receipt of our booking to tell us of possible heavy traffic due to a local Marathon event. I am sure this got our stay off to a very good start and made it enjoyable. Paying for the use of the swimming pool was not acceptable.
The family room with spacy and fitted our needs. Small but nice new bath room. Beds & furniture are aged and appeared incomplete - e.g. missing lights. Cleaning of the lights, under the closets and windows could be better.
It's good that they have there own parking place. The fish they serve with diner is perfect. It should be even better if they have a door man for car and luggage.
Ideally situated in a central but quiet and pleasant area. Rooms well maintained daily, very nice buffet style breakfast.
Great central location and wonderful sitting outside on the terrace. Due to no airconditioning, we had to leave the window open, as it was great weather, but of course warm. Hence, it was very noisy all night long ... not due to traffic, but due to yelling/boisterous people seeming to be coming and going to a night club, or similar.
Fine location, the best in the Hague in my view. Ease of access on tram line 1 and 17.
Nice classic hotel in right the middle of town with friendly and helpful staff.
two single beds instead of one double
Location is excellent - exactly in The Hague city center. Elevator was broken twice for few hours each time
I liked that the hotel is situated so close to the shopping area and sightseeings.
the new room quality and decoration was excellent (room 206) breakfast was a little disappointing at 9am - scrambled eggs were finished, coffee was warm not hot
Location The rooms are basic very tired and scruffy - desparately needs rennovation. However, the city centre location makes up for it
The room. The dealings with the staff.
The hotel's location is ideal- very close to the central points of the city and the staff are very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The room service menu may need to be broadened, and given the great gym, a swimming pool would be a nice addition.
It was close to the casino & a nice hotel A little pricey
Hotel is dated but very clean. The breackfast is delicious No parking space and the public parking is very very expensive.Free parking from 23 to 12 Saturday to Sunday.
The staff we encountered was excellent in all areas of the facility, friendly, helpful and professional minor maintenance in the room was required - broken hair blower hose, poor ventalation in the the bathroom
The big bed, size of room, friendliness of staff, the tram stop right across the street from the hotel. Did not like that we could not use the fridge for our own things, and moving anything inside would incur a charge.
location close to the town centre, beds very comfortable, possibility to smoke in the room the staff was extremely rude especially the night staff, I also found them quite aggressive
nice hotel lovely bed and pillows, quiet hotel with good service nothing, will definately stay there again
The hotel is renovated and up to the latest standards of comfort and luxury. It is quiet and soundproofed. Food is excellent. The only thing to criticize is Internet speed but they do offer a fast paid version if you need that.
Hotel well positioned near to centre and walking distance to rail station. Good value for money with competant staff. Unfortunately a wedding party was staying at hotel on the Saturday, and were noisily walking the corridors till 3-30am. I'm sure an isolated case though.
Friendly staff, nice clean rooms We were given 10th floor room which is not ideal but maybe that was the only one availble.
Location is what we were looking for. Very good hotel with friendly staff. Would go back and also recommend this place
The staff are excellent. The rooms are old,... needs major upgrade.
In general the hotel is very old. The room had a weird smell. The worst Hilton ever!!!
Close to airport, good size rooms very modern and clean. Very good staff
if you like one night in the hospithal incl hospithal beth this is the best place in town
Free parking, 24h reception Dirty rooms. No cleaning during stay. It takes a lot of time to check in/out.
The hotel itself is great and is very modern and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is literally an airport hotel as it very close to the airport but it is not close to the centre. To go to the centre you'd have to catch a 15 -20 min bus (the bus stop is minutes way from the hotel) which costs 2.50 Euro pp one way.
good meal, comfortable room Poor quality towels rather worn and rather small!
Worked and shopped not really
The airport shuttle bus did not start early enough for my flight departure
Good access for the airport Room looking a little tired with redecoration necessary to one wall where there seemed to be some structural problem.
Relax with peace and quiet in comfort nope
The breakfast was terrific and staff very helpful
