The Staff was helpful and courteous
Someone used by bathroom and didn't flush the toilet. Same day person used the shower and left long hair on soap. If you want a cheap hotel and don't care about what you're staying in, this is the place for you.
The location and airport shuttle transportation
It smelled like urine in the room and some of the towels weren't clean
The rooms surprised me its modern look and up to date appliances. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything worked. I was thoroughly pleased with it all and I'm picky about where I sleep.
The room had a strange smell but nothing unbearable.
close to Exit... Breakfast good Room nice ...clean at first sight - Evening agent at 9pm Sunday,Apr 12-really NICE !! african american agent
More cereal variety- corn flakes ,and frosted corn flakes..really? too many mosquitos in room 126- had to kill 5 of em 2 small cocrochaes in room- near AC under AC lot of dirt collected.... WIFI connection mute in room 126 ....frustrating- Make the back fence higher....near the pool and in front across from room 126...did not feel secure... ALWAYS ASK MAIDS TO TALK SOFTLY IN THE MORNING..PEOPLE ARE USUALLY SLEEPING LATE..
Not really anything.
It was dirty and felt unsafe. I heard another couple complaining to the staff at checkout that there room had blood splattered on the wall. I would never stay here again.
Extremely run down. Not clean, In an unsafe area. Was given an occupied room 3 times before I was given an vacant room.
hotel staff was most unhelpful. when i got there i had to call hotels.com to find out my reservation was in my maiden name. i had asked the guy at the desk if he had a reservation for a Julie. he said no. but he did. when i was in line to check out, several people came in and ask what the shuttle schedule was. each one was told "the schedule is posted down there" and pointed towards the parking lot in front of the hotel. i had scheduled the shuttle, and when i checked out ask if it was on time. they said yes. but they failed to tell me that you meet the shuttle about 100 yards into the parking lot from the office. i found that out when a shuttle arrived, dropped people off, and left. then i went looking for it. the rooms were somewhat clean but by no means, up to what i think they should have been.
They helped me out with borrowing me an adapter.
I booked an additional night and they charged me 20 USD more than the first night.
I arrived at this hotel at 3am due to my flight being delayed. I had previously called and asked if they would still have my room available, to which the manager said no problem. When I arrived, the employee then informed me at the front desk that they had no rooms available. How is this possible? I have no idea since my credit card was charged. The shady manager also stood behind a locked glass door and refused to speak to me. He did not offer to pay for my taxi or anything else. I have called the corporate office and will be receiving a complete refund, as well as my cab fare. Stay here at yor own risk. They also did this to another family in front of me in line with two children.
That I could leave my car while on a cruise.
The desk person was excellent but you need at least two or three at the desk. I wish there had been a place to eat within walking distance.
Desk attendant must have been asleep or on drugs. She mumbled. Pick up at FLL took over an hour
There was nothing to like about this place.
Front door was very old. We walk in to the dimly lite place and it smells musty. We start to notice dirty sheets, dirty floors and broken walls. I make my way to the restroom. There was pubic hairs in the tub and a clump of hair on the wall. shower curtain was moody and the was soap wrappers on the floor. I noticed a bar of soap in the toilet and also a broken door knob. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
smelled like urine, dangerous area
Not a single thing the carpet was black with dirt no soap in the room
Tude staff dirty dirty tooms
Location, staff was friendly
This place was Soooo dirty! the room smelled like smoke, the carpet and the comforters looked stained and grimy, the bathroom floor was wet (I hope it was just water), there was mold around the sink faucet, I could feel the box springs through my mattress and the towels felt like sand paper. I don't expect a lot out of a hotel at this price, but I don't want to walk away wondering if I picked up a disease. My conclusion... I wouldn't even bring a hooker to this hotel!
It took me hours to finally get checked into my room. I was shuffled around to multiple rooms that were supposedly cleaned and ready for a guest...all to find out that there was stagnant water on a tub, a bed had no linens at all, a room was in the process of being cleaned...and then the room I finally was given had no comforter and just sheets. A few blocks away the neighborhood gets sketchy. The pool was gross, the place was in a transition of being 'rehabbed,' and I could tell the employees were embarrassed by management who had no business running a hotel. The funniest part of my stay...the manager offered to take off $15 from the bill to which I laughed and told him to keep his money. Good grief.
close proximity to most places in Fort Lauderdale.
Had to change rooms. The first room given had a musty smell, and the king sized bed sagged. The microwave in second room kept shorting out. Use of running water and elevator were an inconvenience due to renovations.
Room was decent, but the microwave didn't work
I'm guessing it was a bad neighborhood because the reception was through a window and drawer. Ha.
close to FLL and Port Everglades
staff allowed guests to smoke very close to main entrance and at parking lot
Most of the staff was friendly, especially the continental breakfast servers.
My laptop was stolen from my room while I was in class during the first full day in our room. When we returned from class, the curtains were wide open, which upset me because I closed them in the morning, and I was uncomfortable knowing anyone could look in and see my things. There was no sign of break-in which hinted at us to suspect staff. When approached, we practically had to force the manager to do anything about it, and sat for a couple of hours in the lobby watching him try to get in touch with the right people. The housekeeper who cleaned our room would not come to the phone, according to the person on the other end of the line. I had to ask for my own incident report, instead of one being provided for me. The manager asked me to wait until the next day when they could talk to the housekeeper to do anything further. In hopes that the laptop was just moved or would be returned, I (like an idiot) agreed. The next day, we left early for class before the manager had arrived. When I called the manager around 11:00am, he asked me to give him an hour and he would call me back, which he never did. After class, we asked what had come of the housekeeper, and the manager fired him for "internal issues". Obviously, something was wrong with this person's work and it took my $635.99 laptop being stolen to figure it out. We filed a police report, I've pressed charges, and we're now working with the police to figure out what happened, since the hotel was obviously incompetent in doing so. The day the housekeeper was fired and I filed with the police, I asked to discontinue my stay, as I no longer felt safe or comfortable staying in that hotel. Not only would I be charged for the two nights we did stay, but since housekeeping had left for the day, the manager refused to take that day off, even though I wanted to go to a different hotel. I would have refused to pay, if it wasn't already charged to my credit card. The price for the stay in their hotel wasn't even a third of the cost of the personal property taken from my room, which I believe was their own fault, and has not been returned to me. So here I am, without my laptop. The price is not worth the stay. The building is old and decrepit, and there are serious security issues. Do not stay here.
