Suite was large and perfect for a 3 generational family including the family dog.
The suite was poorly maintained, mold on the ceiling in the shower, front door didn't want to close well, there was grease and stains on the wall next to the stove, grease and dust on top of the refrigerator, ice maker made very little ice over the 2 dsys we were there. Trying to get clean towels was a chore, the staff acted as if we were going to steal them and everything else that wasn't nailed down. The other guests were great, the staff, not so much with the exception of Tamara at the front desk - she was great!
Quiet room with kitchen and frigerator
Workout room was dirty. The physical exterior needed paint and the deck needed updating
My original room was not to my satisfaction but the staff was very polite and accommodating and quickly fixed the problem and got me into a different one. The grounds were beautifully kept and the hot breakfasts and promotional complimentary dinner were great perks.
The rooms are old and in some need of repair but they are clean enough and very roomy making this hotel a great value.
Nice suite. Complete kitchen. Very good breakfast. Very close parking to the suite. Accommodated our ground floor need.
We were not informed that we had to request room attention. I had to walk to front desk to get clean towels. Should have been done while we were out for the day.
I was near a shopping mall
USED shampoo, smoke detector need a battery and the staff didn't do nothing about it for two days that i was there. Only good that we got was its pet friendly
Cheap and right off the highway so it was convenient. We were only there for 1 night, driving from Akron to Lexington, so it was an easy place to stop and crash.
Definitely needs remodeling, our room smelled stale and the couch was ripped and stained. Cabinets were really old and I didn't feel comfortable using the cups that were in there.
The staff was nice and professional but I felt rushed.
The continental breakfast was poor. So few choices. If you have the name Wyndham you expect more. I learned my lesson. There was a long strip of toilet paper in our area--in front of the door next to our suite that was not in use because there was duct tape over the door knob cavity--this paper was so full of dirt you knew it was there for a long time.
The staff was friendly. The hotel had a hot breakfast that included waffles, eggs and bacon. The room included a full kitchen with plates and utensils.
The hotel is right next to the freeway. The traffic sounds at night made it hard to sleep. The hotel is in desperate need of remodeling . The paint is peeling, the carpets are torn and stained, and the bathroom light did not work. Room cleaning is not provided on a daily basis.
Our room was clean but the carpet was ripped the kitchen cabinets were broken, the door was rusty. And there were some homeless people not far from the hotel location yelling and screaming. so not the best stay but it was cheap.
The price was cheap
Everything else. We booked three nights at this hotel based upon the price and some on-line reviews. After checking in for the first night, we knew immediately that we would not be spending more than the one night that was required. This property is, how should I say, well loved? It has seen better days. The concept is solid but the upkeep and maintenance have been lacking for a good few years. It just felt old and worn, much like the furnishings, fixtures and finishes. We spent the remaining two nights in our preferred, regular suite hotel in Columbus and paid the extra money. Maybe we are spoiled, but at our ages, it's worth it. Once again, you get what you pay for.
The quality of the hotel was very good. I felt, I got the quality I paid for. Interiors need some upgrades though.
It was dirty, smoke smell, shower did not work, alarm clock broken-just gross and nasty!!! I would never stay there again
Staff was very nice and accommodating. The included warm breakfast was nice and well-stocked. The Kayak rate was better than other things we found for the type of suite we were looking for parents with older children - the area seemed to be full up and higher priced than previously so the rate and availability at this hotel was attractive.
The aged facilities and furnishings and deferred updates have taken a toll. The hotel won a corporate award 4 years ago but apparently haven't done much since. The A/C didn't work in the first unit we were given and spent the night in. The second day we were invited to move to another unit, which was rushed to ready "in an hour". We delayed our departure for the day's activities for the three hours it took for the unit to be ready, only to find the second unit had not been fully cleaned and prepped, and the A/C inadequate in it also. The area the hotel is in is in decline, and we heard from locals the police have spent a lot of area trying to crack down on crime and prostitution, including closing the next hotel. That would be a nice warning to have. Some of the other clientele at the hotel seemed to be long-term and perhaps publicly housed.
