Very nice and quiet facility. Good business location.
Only a single restaurant within walking distance and no stores. Shuttle every thirty minutes to a metro station next to a mall and restaurants but it always seemed to be, "one just left" and it added an hour to any trip. If you're planning on mostly going into the city, stay somewhere close to the metro.
Great location. Easy access toI395 and Washington, D.C along with other nearby historical locations. Rooms very clean and the staff was very easy to work with. The restaurant had excellent food with pricing within range of the other nearby restaurants.
We were very close to family members we were visiting. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was a very nice stay.
We weren't used to paying for parking (but I understand that is common in DC). On night there was a 1:30 false fire alarm and several "all clear" announcements that interrupted our sleep, but that may not have been avoidable.
Good food, friendly staff, quiet while sleeping; not bothered if others were making noise
Elevators were slow when large groups were let out of session at the same time, and all needed to ride them. But they were fine at 6:30am.
I was able to quickly book this room. My flight had been cancelled and it was nice to stay at a hotel that was nice and had an airport shuttle. Check in was easy. The room I booked was not available so we got a little upgrade to a corner king room with a beautiful view. All the staff were very nice, and helpful. The shuttle was on time and got me to the airport on time,
We did have a small issue with the heater. It made a noise that sounded like an electrical hum. That being said this was addressed quickly. The engineer was sent to the room quickly after me reporting the issue. He did need a little time to address the issue and did ask if we wanted to move to a different room. We decided that moving was not what we felt like doing so we advised him that he would not bother us if he needed to work while we were there. He was able to address the issue in a respectful non intrusive manner and quickly. We did order room service. As per usual with room service it was expensive. We order a Grilled Sandwich and a Club Sandwich both with french fires. The time it took for this to get to the room was a little long. It took 45 plus minutes to receive our food.
The staff was very friendly and the shuttle was amazing.
The food in the restaurant was ridiculously over priced and awful, and our bed had bugs.
We have stayed here before, but the second time was even better. We got our room upgraded and had excellent service. The shuttle was great.
The one thing I could do without is the $24 a night parking, but at least there was the shuttle.
Convenient location comfortable large room
nickeled and dimed. expensive parking and ameneties
Large hi rise hotel. Staff are great. Rooms are clean. Lighting could be better in rooms.
Price, comfortable bed, fridge, in room, staff very helpful, convenient shuttle to metro station/shopping center, hotel gift shop open late (for snacks)
Pool really far from rooms, no hot tub, no access to microwave, only option for breakfast was pricey
The services provided were excellent. It was nice to come in late at around 10pm and to have the restaurant still cooking. The workout facilities were clean and relatively new. The scenary in/around the hotel was very nice and well kept. There was also a Budget Rental car and ATM at the hotel, along with a barber shop.
I disliked the fact that I was hit with overnight parking fees that were not mentioned with the initial cost estimated. That ended up being another $25 per night, which I was a little upset with. The hotel is also not close to the subway station into DC, which is another downer for those visiting the DC area for tourism.
The room size, accommodating staff, value, facilities, shuttle, proximity to stores & historical sites.
charging for wifi in the room, ridiculous charges for room service, saying there were 2 pools when there is only one, charging for parking
television, most of the staff were professional and polite.
prostitutes in the lobby trying to pickup people in my group, all night parties in the adjacent room with loud television, talking, laughter, smoking cigarettes and pot until 6:00am and slamming the door of the room every few minutes as party goers came and went. I complained in the morning and all I got was sorry about that. They asked if I called security. I didn't call anyone because I didn't want to become a target. I would of had to have my room moved first. Who wants to do that in the middle of the morning? I kept hoping the party would stop but it never did. The barmaid was a royal bitch too. The life guard was more concerned about his girlfriend hanging around and pleasing her than the safety of my kids.
