Pousada Rumo dos Ventos

Basic accommodation that is reasonably priced for Paraty. It is a family owned Pousada and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great - we loved the fruit, yogurt, breads and cakes.

Because the weather was not great on our first night, the room was quite cold - however, on request extra blankets were provided immediately. Also, it is about 15 minutes walk into Paraty town, but that is probably reflected in the reasonable rates.

The area was very peaceful and there was a lot of greenery around. The common areas had some great old furniture. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was good.

They could have done with some more entertainment i.e. films to borrow as it rains there a lot!

We enjoyed the atmosphere, the place was clean and people were friendly.

There was no refrigerator and air-conditioning in the room, the bed wasn´t comfortable and the breakfast wasn´t covered with any kind of net, so that any insect could fly over and even sit on.

We appreciated the location in the nature of the pousada, its space and numerous varieties of exotic plants & flowers it s a beautiful place, we were satisfied of the availability of the person who welcomed us and helped in our requests and was the only one to speak english - very important point - for foreigners! I regreted the absence of a computer with internet for the clients

the lack of cover in the room in case of.... the rain didn t stop while our stay and I was cold the 1st night.
