Happened to somebody else also . Came back to counter and see the possibility to get on next plane at 2:50 and say is no chance . So I have to go by bus now . Very disappointing."

Contras: "What's the value on having a "partnership" between 2 airlines but when you use them you have to change terminals and go through security? I was traveling with my mom who needs wheel chair assistance and a toddler in a stroller. Very inconvenient to walk such a long distance and go through security again. And I didn't receive any notification of this when booking flights. Passengers should be aware of this when booking."
Prós: "The counter staff were positive as were the flight attendants. Flight departed and left on time and they also provided a beverage on the plane."
Contras: "I wish I had known earlier that there was a few to check in at counter but it was easily rectified as I came off line and completed Mobile check in."

Also it would be nice if the flight attendant tried smiling especially when greeting you aboard the aircraft. Guess I’m just spoiled by American Airlines but they still only charge $25.00 per checked bag on international flights and free on domestic!"
Contras: "Seating didn't look like it should be legal. Short flight so that was OK. Didn't like the bumpiness of the ride once we were in Tampa air space. Got very nauseated."

Contras: "The plane was extremely loud and cold. They charged me $7 at the check in gate because I didn’t check in online. I had no bags and a 1-hr one way trip - I just figured they would have the touch screen check in but they don’t. Instead they charge $7."
Prós: "Silver provided $10 meal voucher and overnight stay at Hampton Inn when flight was cancelled due to a maintenance issue with the plane. Agents were helpful and efficient in processing re-booking arrangements."

Contras: "After being told that the flight from West Palm would be an hour late leaving West Palm informed the agent that I had a connection in Tampa at 9;15. She stated that I would make the connection without a problem. She later asked how many people were going to Pensacola. I was the only person to raise A HAND. sHE LATER STATED THAt the flight would wait for my connection. We landed at 9:05 and taxied in about 10 min. The flight was to leave at 9:15. The flight attendant on my flight asked where was the connecting flight,they replied it left already. Iwas rebooked on America To Charollet,N C to connect for Pensacola. That took 4hrs more."

Prós: "The kind, saint of a Silver Airways gate worker who spent quite literally 3 full hours dealing with the botched planning of United and Silver Airways. After being turned away multiple times and waiting on hold for what seemed like an eternity she finally was able to get me rescheduled for a flight on American Airlines the following Morning."
Contras: "Weather was terrible in Florida, so as expected there were some delays. Sitting in Key West airport I watched Delta and American Airlines depart flight after flight while we, the suckers who booked through United and Silver Airways, sat for 5 hours. The gate worker in Key West and two United Airlines call center workers were completely useless in helping me reschedule the flights that I was going to miss (even with a 5 hour layover at my next stop). The airline blames the entire thing on weather, yet no other airlines were suffering from 5+ hour delays. It's my opinion that early on in the day Silver Airways mismanaged the movement of their aircraft which exacerbated the delays experience by thousands of passengers."

Contras: "Booked United flight, tried to check in on the app. Said i couldn't check in because it was a Silver Flight. Tried to check in through Silver, also got denied. Then the flight was delayed because they had to kick 5 people off. When we boarded said we were still too heavy so started kicking off unaccompanied minors. Tried to kick me off, told them I'm 27 and got accused of looking way younger. Thought I was gonna get kicked off. Finally took off- my seat was in the last row and seat back was broken so I was sinking into the back of the plane getting poked by metal so had to sit straight up whole flight. Plane was so small and old I was terrified the whole way. Finally land and pilot says they are understaffed so had another delay. Then the shuttle trains at airport were broken so had even more delay. I was so late I almost didn't graduate. Did I mention TSA machine incorrectly identified an object in my anal cavity? Hindsight would have rented a car and driven 6 hours than take this 1 hour flight. Worst flight ever."

Prós: "I love the convenience of the airline. This is my third time flying Silver Airways due to the direct flight into Key West. The staff is always friendly throughout the boarding and flying process."
Contras: "I was disappointed that using TSA Pre Check was not an option for Silver Airways. There's no entertainment or snacks and the price is similar to other airlines. Seats were not comfortable."
