Contras: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."

Contras: "Reading light wasn't aimed properly, and there was nowhere to put anything because of it being an exit row behind a bulkhead. That meant, that I had to hold anything I wanted during take-off, and landing, and the entertainment system had to be stowed during those times as well, so I couldn't even listen to music as the only controls were the touchscreen."

Prós: "My husband and I recently traveled from New York to Bali Indonesia for our honeymoon. We were upgraded to Business for all four of our flight segments. The flight attendants were incredibly friendly and courteous and were actually surprised when we only ordered one drink and one meal at a time! The food was phenomenal, especially for an aircraft meal, and no matter what I was in the mood for, they had it."
Contras: "Boarding in New York was not organized. Those traveling with small children or needing assistance were not boarded first, nor were Business and Economy boarding from separate jetways."

Contras: "Hi I travelled on 7/16 from Philadelphia to Cairo through the Jordanian airline . Unfortunately the luggages didn't reach to Cairo airport with me . 3 days later they told me that the luggages in Jordan and I have to travel from Alexandria city to Cairo to receive my luggages . When I went their , I found my luggages were opened and missing much items . I made reports on the airport. The employees in the airport they wondered why the opened the selling box , and the box looks empty. The weight for this box was 32 kilograms in the time of shipping. And I paid $400 for extra weight . But when I received it was like 20 kilograms. Plus I paid $350 for Qater airline for shipping 3 luggage . That's means I paid $750 for shipping 3 luggages and I received it looks empty . I need refund for all shipping and $5000 for damages items , or I will complain this airlines through the American court . Thank you"

Prós: "The food and entertainment systems were good. The staff on the plane were pleasant."

Contras: "Boarding this flight consisted of minimal organization on the crews behalf, the Gate's security machines were off, people scattered everywhere with not enough seats to fit everyone. When entering the gate (with security machines turned off keeping in mind everyone has already passed general airport security and is only trying to enter the gate. Staff would direct passengers towards an attempt at creating a boarding queue. Once passing the gate doors and walking towards the queue directed by staff, it seemed to be a normal occurance to have another staff memeber shout at you and redirect you another way. Getting scolded by gate employees and requested to remove all electronics turn them on and being requested to remove most clothing items at the gate while everyone is watching with security machines off while only selecting a few passengers seems to be a regular occurnace in Doha & with Qatar Airways. People standing all around, no queues were initiated by staff, instead staff would push through passengers to get to the front instead of propretly annoucing the boarding through an intercom. No matter how loud staff was screaming their sounds were drowned out by the passengers which turned boarding a full translatlantic flight into a chaotic scene. Once on the flight I noticed the headphones provided were broken, I politely requested a new pair...from 3 different employees...which took over 20 mins to replaced. Qatar Airways prides itself on quality unfortunately as an economy passenger I have yet to experience any of that other than when it comes to good on flight entertainment."

Prós: "Food quality needs to improve, some chairs can't recline."

Prós: "Flight was on time. Crew was friendly and attentive to passengers (I give them 4.5 stars). The seats are comfortable. The plane was clean."
Contras: "My 18 year old daughter (turned 18 on December 20, 2016) was singled out, searched extensively bodily and her bag, for no reason what-so-ever. It was a traumatizing experience for her... needless to say, nothing was found and no explanation was given. The seats recline too far back so that the person behind cannot enjoy what they are watching. The crew has to keep asking the passengers in front to pull their chairs up slightly."

Prós: "I slept most of the flight and awoke to the smiling faces of the flight attendants."
Contras: "Long time to check in. Not the airlines fault. Passengers had so much luggage, I didn't think the plane would leave the ground. There should be a line for people who travel light."

Prós: "The flight service was great. We had a slight delay on the way back to Doha from Heathrow but they made up for it by getting us through security faster so I didn't miss my flight to Tokyo. Overall the timing was excellent and I got home without having to fork out any extra money."

Contras: "12 of January, 2018 Dear Austrian Airlines authority, I address to your kind attention to asist me to get to me the hat qhich I lost on board of the flight 1576 when I arrived to Vienna airport on my way frpom JFK to Lwo. It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet"

Contras: "Roughest flight ever, many people got sick, too much turbulence to fly"

Contras: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

Contras: "They rebooked me on a later flight this same day. This flight to Geneva (change of airports) was late and the flight to Vienna took off with no passengers from our flight, after we were told it would wait. ' I paid for premium seats and did not get rebooked for the same. I am sitting in the Geneva airport for 7 and 1/2 hours, losing my meetings in Vienna. I never expected such poor service from Swissair."

Contras: "Cabin is old and needs updating. For the cost of the ticket, I expected better entertainment, more room, and better food."

Prós: "Swiss' Zurich Airport Business lounge is the most comfortable I've experienced. The flight attendants were professional, courteous and very helpful. A very enjoyable flight experience in business class."

Contras: "They charge you an extra $ 100 DOLLARS FOR THE OPTION TO PICK YOUR SEAT AND WHEN YOU CHECK IN THEY SAY THAT IT WAS JUST TO SIT IN THAT SECTION OF THE PLANE. WE PICKED OUR SEATS BY THE FRONT BULKHEAD AND WHEN WE CHECKED IN THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US THOSE SEATS BECAUSE THEY SAID OTHER PEOPLE PAID MORE THAN US TO HAVE THEM. THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR THIS KIND OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY."

Prós: "crew very friendly.food excellent- thai curry vegetables, snacks. the flight arrived ahead of schedule despite slight delay. I appreciated that this was Swiss operated so no charge for skis, boots and poles."

Contras: "My seat had been given to someone else also, and they boarded before me, so I had no seat for some time. I was told to stand in the back, which I did for a long time. Eventually I sat down on the edge of a place and a stewardess snapped at me. I've had back surgery recently, so all of this was very difficult. Finally given a seat. No internet--big drawback on overseas flights. On our trip there, one bathroom was a mess, plus out of toilet paper. Told the stewardess, and they closed it for a while--took some time for it to be attended to. The entertainment choices are VERY slim--don't know why a more extensive list of choices could not be made available."

Prós: "The friendly and attentive crew helped me from boarding to disembarking. Swiss' service in general is outstanding. I highly recommend them for flights to Europe."
Contras: "Cons: They never reduced their fares & surcharges after fuel prices came down this spring; and to add insult to injury, they started charging a $ 29.- seat reservation fee. Loyal customers should not have to pay extra fees! Peter (86)"

Contras: "While missing a connection happens sometimes, Lufthansa was particularly dreadful in handling the situation. Hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of travelers were not informed about what was happening with their connections, or given any guidance. This all arose from around an inch of snow in Frankfurt. It caused bedlam at the Frankfurt airport, which the Lufthansa staff appeared utterly unprepared to deal with. This is our second very bad experience with Lufthansa."

Prós: "It was an overall good experience. Very well organized. Since both legs of the flight we're half-empty, it was easier on the crew too. They were nice and helpful. Everything very clean. Entertainment choices were good. Had an excellent entertainment system."

Contras: "For the first time in decades (hundreds of flights), I've had to find the paper bag and until the very end I thought I might end up needing it. My companion did use hers, and mine (also a first in many decades). Part of the bumpiness could have been due to a weather system but the plane's movement was jerky when taxiing in Boston. BOS-MUC used to be one of my favorite routes back when it was served by the A360. The new A350 is nothing special except for the entertainment system. Ironically the large screen seemed overwhelming due to the dismal distance to the seat in front."

Contras: "Bought these tickets almost a year in advance. Never given the option to select seats. Both my husband and I were stuck in the middle seats or not together on each leg of our flight. Food was horrible on every leg. Husbands tv did not work. I am petite and seats too small even for me. never again will o give this airline my money."

Contras: "Our luggage did not arrive in Naples with us. We heard nothing from Lufthansa despite making numerous attempts to email and call the airline. Our hotel tried to call as well to see if someone could at least tell us if and when our luggage might arrive.We had to go out and buy clothes and personal items. It was a terrible way to start a holiday."

Prós: "First time for flying Lufthansa and I rate it higher than Emirates which was my favorite until now. Reasons? Number one, the crew. On top of every detail for a comfortable flight. Ten hours and I didn't sleep at all( never can sleep sitting up) and I think they came by with extra water and juices at least six times. Two hot meals of delicious food, superb snacks available near the galley, and comfortable seats with better than average legroom."
Contras: "Can't think of anything except the length of the flight which can't be helped."

Prós: "The people, the service, the seats, the timeliness... (I did not fly from Washington to Munich on Lufthansa; I flew back on Lufthansa.)"
Contras: "Nothing. They were great."

Prós: "Crew friendly, good food"
Contras: "Cramped seating, can't select seat until checkin without paying (only airline we were unable to select seat)"

Prós: "I was so pleased with all the people involved from ticket desk to pilots and stewardesses. I would recommend Air Canada to everyone."

Contras: "I paid money to select our seats on our flights and did not get those seats on any of the four flights we were on. It was a complete scam. I asked a flight attendant and she told me lufthansa does not have the option to pay for seat selection. Every other aspect was good."

Prós: "I love their pilot and crew members."
Contras: "The lady who are the weighing baggage in Lagos is very rude and need to be removed and others that pass instructions to her. The same baggage I brought from US is the same weight but hostile to removed down all my clothes. The weight used in Nigeria is not acceptable to many people and it can make passenger run from them"

Prós: "Most of all."
Contras: "The headphone connection method. It is difficult to replace the headphone w/ your own because the connector is located deep in the headphone compartment and you cannot see it in easily. As far as you use the built-in headphones, no problem."

Contras: "obvious crew disapproval when walking up and down the aisles to keep lively one year old entertained and from crying!"

Prós: "The seats were roomy, the flight staff was attentive and very efficient. The plane was clean and offered many different movies to watch. They even had new releases on those list along with games and music. I truly enjoyed my first experience with this airline!"
Contras: "They offered alternative media for people with dietary restrictions and I didn't know this when I booked. I'm gf and they could have accommodated, had I known."

Contras: "Without having any real complains I felt the crew could of been more attentive and welcoming."

Prós: "Smooth flight"
Contras: "1) No jetway. Bussed very long distance to board airplane. Long, hot, uncomfortable process. This is 2016 and still bussing passengers to plane? 2) No way to download entertainment app while on board when announcement made about entertainment. Need to notify passengers prior to boarding."

Prós: "Crew is excellent, polite and personal!"
Contras: "Plane is super old and outdated. Comfort seat is not, comfortable, very tight. TV screen is not good quality, with the old controls on a handset. No touch, no 1/8 inch audio jack (it has the old 3 holes one). Wifi for streaming freezes every other second. Just make a face lift to the plane, everything else is good."

Prós: "Overall booking and airport was ok. Food was also actually quite good."
Contras: "A comfort of the seats... well its economy class in the end. Entertainment was just dreadful - small screen with visible pixels - I was unable to watch any movie."

Prós: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Contras: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Prós: "Flight crew was fine. Food was good."
Contras: "Checking in was extensive for unaccompanied minor. But gate crew was very unnattentuve and though we showed up as first in line, they did not focus, and kept saying to wait. Ultimately our son was last person on the plane."

Prós: "Good Experience"
Contras: "Nothing much"

Contras: "Boarding was delayed a little due to weather as was takeoff. Cant blame them for weather but the connection was very tight."

Contras: "Amesterdam airport employee was really rude"

Prós: "Excellent experience with the cabin crew."
Contras: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Prós: "The flight was great."

Prós: "Got to Amsterdam on time and everything was great including the staff"

Prós: "Equally friendly crew and experience. It was complimented by the time we got to spend in the fantastic KLM lounge while we waited for the flight."

Prós: "I was upgraded to Buisness so, no complaints"
Contras: "No Marlboro light cigarettes on the duty free shopping cart"

Prós: "Price"
Contras: "Klm flight has very congested seating Getting information about eticket was pain"

Prós: "Was able to check in online, very convenient and easy to access site."
Contras: "I didn't go on this flight, unable to leave Seoul (to Beijing) with China Southern."

Prós: "Except for my negative comment, a good flight."
Contras: "I paid extra for a window seat, but due to the poor alignment of the seats with the actual windows, I actually sat next to a wall! Nol much to see out of a wall. If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight."

By the end of the trip when we were approaching Ams, a hostess came and she gave us a $25 dollar discountvoucher to be used in our next trip, this is totally not acceptable!"

Prós: "The premium economy- it was the most uncomfortable - tight seats. The back of the seats are not reclining It’s not worth the money you pay for premium services"
Contras: "The premium economy should be eliminated and should be labeled for what it is: couch class with some perks"

Prós: "Crew was great but at the airport they had us weight our carry on and then made us check it for 90 euro."

Prós: "The seats were bigger across the shoulder area and had more padding than some other budget airlines."
Contras: "Wish there was more elbow room in the seat. I am a big guy and I was having to squish myself so as to not interfere with my neighbor"

Contras: "Crew forced me to change my upgraded comfort seat to accommodate a 12 year old who they knew was going to be airsick. So I spent the first half of the flight next to a vomiting girl. Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service."

Prós: "Multiple crew members paid constant helpful attention to my mother (88yrs of age) during boarding, deboarding and throughout the entire flight. Thank you!"

Contras: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

Contras: "My luggage was lost in Paris. Now I need to wait still."

Contras: "I will not use o recommend to anyone to buy a ticket with the agency, at the airport in China we were treated like criminals because as they said we were not register in the system as passengers it was really a nightmare"

Prós: "Nothing"
Contras: "Airplane delay to take off 1 unknown reason After landing in Paris 50 min sitting inside airplane moving around Late for flight transfer. Sitting in Paris airport 5 hours. Customer service no working. Never fly Air France anymore !"

Prós: "Crew was very nice and the plane was clean and comfortable"
Contras: "Worse food I ever had on a flight ( a small bowl of lentils and some bread) Movie selection was poor, although not a big deal"

Contras: "Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

Prós: "The quality of service from the staff and their courtesy. A great asset of the airline."
Contras: "My luggage was left behind - this despite my being lifetme platinum."

Prós: "The friendliness and courtesy of the staff."
Contras: "One piece of my luggage was left behind in Paris."

Contras: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Contras: "Premium economy seats do not recline, only slouch. One of our 2 seats wouldn't slouch more than half way. The entertainment options are extremely sparse and the screens are 4:3 ratio, tiny, and of such poor quality that they look like laptop monitors from 1999."

Contras: "Air France lost my luggage and they can't find it in the computer system."

Prós: "We were on a 9 hour flight which is pretty exhausting on its own. However, Air France provided you with a pillow and blanket, as well as headphones, so that you can make the best of the long trip."
Contras: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."

Prós: "That it was a night flight"
Contras: "No airconditioning, no food choice, no space."

Contras: "Air France offered no help rebooking missed connection at JFK due to delay of more than 2 hours in arrival."
