The Game room made our stay extra fun for our whole family. The beds were firm but very comfortable. Love your fresh decor.
Wonderful bed and pillows 1. Under construction. ...need I say more. 2. A new remodeled room had no bathroom counter space w/ a pedestal sink. Only mirror in bathroom.
The location (and that's it) The hotel was under major construction which we were not aware of in the slightest prior to booking the room. The room lacked more than a single mirror and there was no door on the closet (this wasn't a huge issue, but in a way it served as the icing on the cake for what was a pretty horrible hotel experience). I'm a Club Carlson member, and after that experience I am in no hurry to book a room at another affiliated hotel.
Room was small but nice. Too expensive & staff loud.
Such a hip fun hotel
Location is perfect, rooms are clean and well kept. Staff is very friendly. Great place to stay, unique property with special amenities not typically found in hotels.
Nice Clean and modern Could hear guests above us all night walking around. But the biggest downer was that while they advertise poking is available they don't tell you it's $49 a day
Rooms are nice but very basic. No mirror other than bathroom and no microwave. Definitely not worth $300+ a night.
Funky features and a great games room. Loads to do with a family.
Stay here for the location. Right across the street from Pier 39, and walking distance to Ghiradelli Square, shops, and reataurants. $50 + taxes to park per night. The fire pits were not working during our stay, and they were not apologetic for that. That was one of the main reasons why we decided to stay at this hotel.
Loved the modern, nautical decor and fun seating areas and games! All in all an incredible experience! Our overall experience was wonderful. There were a couple of minor details that could use checking. The shower drain was slow and the bathroom sink counter was beginning to show signs of rust. Might check into a sealer as we know it's only 4 months old and could tell that the staff was making an effort to keep everything really nice.
Nice location. Having to pay 50 dollars for one night of parking. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, no fridge or microwave. Sleep number bed wasn't working. For $250 a night I definitely expected more.
Very little Bathroom unpleasant room right next to loading fock
The beds were absolutely fantastic!!! The rooms were comfortable. The young man at the registration desk, around 1 or 2 PM on 12/05/126, was very courteous, helpful, and went beyond just being nice. Our hats off to his customer relations skills. thank you to him because of him we would return. We needed more coffee and cups and they were delivered promptly and with a smile. Again Thanks!! Tub and toilet area!
Dated but clean. Need a new decorator when they renovate. Horrible.
Location and staff were great Overdue for renovation
I really enjoyed the location. We were able to leave our car parked in the garage while we walked around. While checking into the hotel the lady got smart with me numerous times. When I asked about the noise level she gave me a smart reply. Parking was expensive! By the time they added on the hotel tax it was almost 60 bucks!
Staff EXCELLENT Noisy room
Nothing Poor bathroom and shower.
We will stay at no other hotel when we are in San Francisco
I liked the proximity to the wharf and the activities. Wifi being an extra charge was beyond my understanding. I do not understand how a business that charges as much as it did for its daily rate, did not have it included in the cost.
The room was very spacious No showercap in bathroom
Close to warf. Parking wAs $50 on top of hotel room fee. Not cool. I've stayed at much nicer hotels for a lot less. You're paying for location
It was close to the bay, can walk easily to restaurants and attractions. There were no included amenities for the price. Parking is an extra $52 plus $7.50 a night tax. Wifi is $15 a night +tax. You have to call up for more than the 2 creamers for your coffee when they leave 3 packs of coffee. The noise was absolutely terrible as the bus station was right outside our window. Overall for the price it was very run down with very little to offer for calling itself a 4 star hotel.
The location directly adjacent to Fisherman's Wharf is excellent. It is convenient to transportation. Within 2 blocks, there are restaurants of varying levels, a grocery store, workout facility and shopping (either souveniers or really high end artwork). My room was on the second floor front and was very bad for street noise. The bed was quite firm, but not in a comfortable way. For TV addicts, there is a limited range of channels. Only tiny safe deposit boxes at the front desk. Day staff very friendly. Night staff more indifferent. Maintenance appears OK. Told them my shower was not draining properly on the first night. It wal fixed when I tried again and stayed that way.
Access to all local amenities
View from my room window
#1 reason for booking this motel was free parking. For the price comfortable beds and location was an added plus. no air conditioning....It was raining for two days and the room was still hot at night. (in late October)...Summers would not be comfortable. The lady on the desk was not friendly at all.
Great location and it was clean. I didn't need anything more. The clock in the room was nearly 1/2 hour slow, so I nearly missed my bus the next morning.
Hotel position Don't have any kind of breakfast, even if it was included in our booking.
the position of the hotel, very convienent no
Close to the Harbor missing internet conex.
It was very close to the main sights of San Fransisco which made getting around easy. No
Great location, with service oriented staff, great room comfort and size. Great price. Already recommended. The room has no air conditioner, thus the noise from trucks and electric cars early in the mornings is sometimes uncomfortable, specially when you are very tired. Should tried to work on this limitation.
