The room was extremely clean. The website claims that it is a 6pm checkout, however, I had to check- out by 12pm or pay an additional charge of 15 Euros to stay till 6pm. The choice of breakfast was minimal. The price of air-conditioning was too expensive.
Good location near beaches, the port and the old town. Very good swimming pool and good size room. Helpful staff Shower was a problem with shower curtain above the shower tray so bathroom floor got very wet each time the shower was used
It was clean, the room was big enough, staff was realy friendly Small bathroom, quite noisy
The only good thing is proximity to the beach and the friendly staff. It is an old hotel and very tired. Moreover, there is too much noise from opposite bars renovation
The hotel is only one street away from the beach and max 10 minute walk to the old town & castle. It is located at the beginning of the bat strip. The hotel is not located correctly on google maps. It is actually at the beginning of the bar strip and not on the beach.
inexpensive, close to city beach, walking distance from center basic, very small bathroom/shower. loud if people talking in the hallway.
clean and a well run hotel no
Rooms were clean and spacious, very friendly and welcoming reception and cleaning staff. Though hotel was not 'near' the old town, it was only 10 - 15mins walk at most. WiFi connection was very poor / sometimes non-existant, though is advertised as a facility provided.
The hotel was well run and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. No
only stayed one night on a stop over no
The rooms are exquisite, with a private outdoor sitting area, huge bedroom and bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location, situated on a quiet side street. Minutes walk to several beaches or medieval city, and within footsteps of several excellent restaurants. Highly, highly recommended.
location building site at the back.
Air conditioning; free LAN in room (or WiFi in Lobby); comfy beds; block out curtains; quiet location; elevator; TV; very spacious - a small self-contained apartment (kitchen, not laundry); phone in room; really cheap promotional rate - was excellent value for money; located in central part of Old Town Missing fixtures and fittings (like the builders forgot to finish putting air con grate over hole in wall!) etc; staff were a little bit reluctant to tend to reception
Close from the old city, mini market, restaurants, car location, beaches. Fair price and clean.
Well located for Rhodes Town, Old Town and Beaches. Nice pool at the rear also.
the hotel is situated very well, the atmosphere and the apartments are of high standard, the apartment was quiet though located in the heart of the town no
This hotel is not only affordable for a solo traveler, but has an ideal location in the old town. Steps away to great restaurants, shopping and dancing the night away. The hotel staff is like family. The rooms are immaculate. This is the second time I stay here and it's like home! My hosts Annika, Michael and Maribel are wonderful.
very clean, friendly staff, good location - very good value for money. I would go there again.
The hotel provides a unique opportunity to stay in such a historic area. The welcome and atmosphere is great. Very nice people who run this great place. You have to expect noise as it is so close to the nightlife-so just bring your ear-plugs and you will be so tired from all the touring around ,that you will sleep fine.
the staff is very helpful and nice
The staff It was horrendously noisy and we didn't get any sleep until after 4.00 am and we had to leave at 7.30 am!!
In the mittel of the tovn The disco all the night and the noise from the parking place
well placed to ferry port
The "volunteer" guest who was acting as a member of staff who greeted us and checked us in was very pleasant and informative. The noise from nearby bars was excessive and given that they were empty of customers, it seemed pointless for the owners to do this.
Nice staff and great location. Many night clubs that are open all night. Bring earplugs and not a problem
Great location and Great friendly Stuff !
Next to the ancient castle and behind there was a ancient ruins which was so impressive.. Interior design of Hotel was so cozy and stunning..
location, pool, spa It's very expensive for what it is, but it's partly because of weak dollar
Fantastic location between old town and new town.Friendly helpful staff.Great outdoor pool. Poor inconsistent food quality. We only ate at breakfast but need more choice.Poor value.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Nothing was any trouble. Ideally located for old town (charming) and new town (not so charming but with plenty of good restaurants and shops.
The location was perfect to visit the old city of Rhodes.
Location was good, front office dpt as well. Hotel standards used to be better in the past. Cleaning of the rooms is not enough. A hotel that says to be a 5 star should keep the same standards all over the year even if located in a summer resort. Also the size of the standard room bathrooms is extremely small. As they can not make bigger the bathrooms (because the room space is already limited) they should relace bathtubes with modern shower cabins. For sure this hotel has 5 star touches but its not overall.
The location close to the centre of Rhodes town was excellent. The facilities at the hotel were good with a pool set in nice landscaping and pool side bar and bistro. We were alocated room 319 and noticed that we had an internal connecting door to the adjoining room. While we would normally avoid such a siuation we felt that given the hotels luxury rating that the sound reduction between the two rooms would be OK. Unfortunately over the course of the week we found this not to be the case with simple conversations next door being clearly audible from the adjoining room.
Very clean, smart modern hotel with helpful staff. Our (standard) room was pleasant and well appointed with a kettle & tea & coffee (although we had to request refills each time). The breakfasts were excellent with an extensive buffet & other items on request. The location was excellent, just outside the walls of the old town & convenient for lots of restaurants. We were sorry that the swimming pool was really too cold for comfort (in the 2nd week of October). It was a beautiful pool and it would have been worth heating it for the shoulder months. We didn't try eating at the hotel & indeed didn't see any other guests trying it either. Judging from the room service menu, it appeared very expensive. It would have been worth the management offering some incentive to make use of the large dining room.
The staff couldn't be more helpful or pleasant. The pool area was lovely. Our evening meal at the restaurant was disappointing - my salmon was very over cooked and therefore tough, my husband received the wrong meal entirely - surprising as we were two of only six in the restaurant. The TV and radio channels on offer were very poor for English speakers.
The location was perfect. The areas were very modern and comfortable.
Absolutely beautiful little hotel. Our suite was spacious and comfortable with lavish decor - Turkish in style. The location is perfect for touring the old town of Rhodes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is a friendly charming haven after busy travelling. It has superb access to explore the old city its museums and streets and just to wander and return at leisure. The staff are efficient, personable. and very helpful. We loved the personally prepared individual breakfasts on the little terrace and thought the cook and house keeper were treasures. Wonderful to have so much fresh air or air conditioning as required. The experience was flawless.
The staff are absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and customer orientated, they really care about making ones stay memorable and they deserve all the credit in the world! I will definitely stay there again next time i am in Rhodes.
The staff was very helpful and nice. The decorating was wonderful. The breakfast was great. The pillows.
Great Location. Unique style. Excellent and friendly service. Old Plumbing. Above average pricing. However similar conditions exist in all nearby hotels.
we live in rhodes and wanted to stay somewhere will a lovely view of th ocean, which we did it was lovely. The standard of the room was good also. All the communal areas and around reception were very attractive upon entry to the hotel.
Both my husband and I truly enjoyed the locality of the hotel-and the fantastic views we had from our hotel room which was on the top floor and facing the beach -we were very happy with the staff there for their friendly nature every time we needed assistance
Excellent rooms. Beatiful sea views.
breakfast and handy location to all rhodes activities
Service, all staff, bed and room were excellent. Range of food was good, as was the quality There is no hotel car park, the opposite of that stated in your description. Street parking only is available, but is usually full as it is in front of the beach.
It is located close to the city center with a beautiful view to the sea
check-out room, bed, comfort, bathroom, staff, .....
The location of the hotel was excellent for both shopping and culture in the old and new towns, also the room we were allocated on the 6th floor was excellent. Beach location. Friendly staff on reception and in the dining room, enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra 3 nights.
Its a decent stay, the staff is helpfull and location perfect,hb was good dinner was gr8 A lot of little things that could be fixed but are not
Food and cleanliness Staff were not helpfull and pool the reason we stayed was small and cramped for room
Generally it is good hotel. Good location. Nothing special.
Friendly staff, went out of their way to help with everything. Allowed me to check in early morning following my flight. 2 minute walk to the beach - but on the windy side of Rhodes and away from old town (15 minutes walk). Bugs in the room - silver tails crawling out of the wardrobe and a green cockroach (I had no idea they existed until this hotel and google). Toilet was not clean - I clean the toilet seat with wipes prior to use at every hotel and this bathroom left the wipe looking brownish.
Handy location Extremly noisy and beds uncomfortable with a pillow like a wafer
excellent location, near to the Old City and harbour all within walking distance bathroom clean, but not renovated as stated on website. Breakfast a bit limited
The hotel has been undergoing major renovation to upgrade its star level and the lobby and entrance area are beautiful. They are doing an excellent job. The final touches to the open and updated kitchen area were underway during our stay which, understandably, made the breakfast service difficult for the staff as well as the clients. The bathroom in our unit was small and potentially dangerous for any tall or heavier guests. We were told that this will be the next step in their renovation process.
The location. We rented a apartment because we wanted a kitchen. But we couldent use the kitchen because it wasn´t safe´, and there was no equipment . The freezer didn´t work.
strategical position to move on foot: 5 mins to seaside, 5 mins to the bus station, 10 mins to the old town; nice and recently restiled building power socket lack in room
Kind service, situation, Shower needs attention
perfect locatoon in new town of rhodos nice decoration, just renovated beatifull hotel
Hotel was clean and well presented. The room had everything we needed and they served a good breakfast. None
It was in a very good location, quite clear and comfotrable .Thestaff was good and the breakfast lavish .
Efficient repair to shower - much appreciated Refurbishment of public areas should be completed before the tourist season commences. Carpet on top step at entrance should be securely fixed to prevent accidents.
The hotel location is within a few blocks of the old city and close to the bus station and several laundramats. The room would be a 10 with some new carpet and a little repainting.
The downstairs public space is modern and bright, the pool is large, the staff are helpful. Suites useful if you have small children or a group of students as they consist of a double bedroom, kitchen area (no kettle), and a sitting roon with 2 sofas that convert into beds (a bit like caravan beds). We were expecting a 5* hotel, this is not. I would say it was a 3* in the public spaces and a 2* in the rooms. We thought we were getting a Deluxe 2 bed apartment, it was not Deluxe. The beds are hard, the cheap metal furniture is uncomfortable and the repainted baths look grubby. They had turned off the aircon so we found it hot at night and were unable to sleep with the windows open as the traffic noise from the street was really loud. Had we not been expecting 5* we would not have been so disappointed with the hotel. The paper notices and menus stuck on the walls of the lift should have given us a clue as we went up to our room and the grubby hall carpet should have been another give away that we were not ascending into the lap of luxury
The friendly and helpful staff who provided very good customer service. Hotel rated as 5 star, but really is not. An appropriate description would be serviced apartments. Also bed was not a double but twin beds.
Loved it all. Only problem was the ac was weak.
Friendly and fast service. Easy comunication with staff. For Rhodos town, one of the best choices / locations - value for money. Definitely would stay again in the future. Hotel renovated but had old fan coil system instead of a/c in rooms, got quite hot in the mornings in room facing sunrise but staff immediately moved us to another room upon our request which didn't face the sun in the mornings >> problem solved.
Hotel lay out (pool area particularly) good choice of restaurants, refreshments. Proximity to Rhodes town. Very friendly and courteous staff, hotel obviously very well maintained.Air conditioned rooms a bonus
I greatly appreciated the room size and the fact that it was very clean. I also appreciated very much the fact that the ladies at the reception were always ready to help the client in the best way they could. The breakfast was also great. I did not appreciate that people were reserving the lounge chairs at the pool for hours without sitting there, I believe that hotel staff should enforce the rule of not reserving with a towel the poool lounge chairs...
The facilities are wonderful. They have a beautiful pool with several poolside cafes to choose from. The rooms were very basic and the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. It was very difficult to sleep in their beds and our whole group felt the same way.
Fantastic pools and amenities.I Would clasify this hotel as an all inclusive. be prepared to take transport to old town which is easy by city bus. (wach out for the taxis they will rip you off) do you know why there are no Pirates in Greece. They all drive Taxi. Paying 14 Euro for the wifi I think is outragous this should be free. At an all inclusive type hotel such as this.
The pool area and the restaurant - pool are was open late for early birds:) I requested for no-smoking room and you could clearly smell the tobacco in the room
Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered great choice of foods - fruit, vegetables, eggs, fresh Greek pastries. Staff were friendly, recognized me by sight after a couple of days, and went out of their way to assist me in obtaining a travel adapter (electric). Some of the facilities that are provided free in other hotels - though perhaps not in Rodos - entailed additional charge, such as room safe and internet access. TV was very small (17"?), reception was poor and the channel selection very limited.
The pool and facilities. We could not sleep because the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. My body was actually sore in the morning from the hard bed. The lounge chairs at the pool would have been a better place to sleep as far as comfort was concerned. Not enough umbrellas around the pool.
I liked the calm atmosphere, the pool and the garden (very weel curated). The breakfest is also good. The swimming pool open times too short in the evening.
the manager was very kind and freindly with us, the room was clean and nice, maybe just a bit too small, rhodes old town is fantastic!! roms a bit claustrofobic
The studio was ideally situated in a quiet but very convenient part of the Old Town. At the time, only 2 of the studios were occupied so interior noise was minimal. For 2 people, the layout was very suitable and cupboard space adequate. We didnt have any problems with the raised bed downstairs however less mobile occupants may find it a challenge
Nice style, nice owner, location is in the old town. Near the clock tower, so the bell sounded every hour, which we found very exiting.
The room was modern and had all the facilities that you would expect. The owner was very nice and helpful. The upstairs room in the studio was very hot and there was no air conditioning up there, however the bedroom downstairs was OK. Access to the hotel through the old town was a bit difficult with suitcases, but the owner offered to help. We recommend that you contact the hotel before arrival to arrange transportation for heavy suitcases.
New small hotel with fatastic quiet location in the center of the tourist area of old Rhodes. Compact room with full comforts including kitchenett. No hotel facilities - no need! - everything is around the corner.
It is stuated in a relatively quiet but central location - a good base from which to explore Rhodes Old Town
A very nice place, quiet but not far from animated streets, renovated with taste - just what I was expecting! A very good alternative to explore both Rhodes Old Town and New Town! A place to go back, for sure... ;-) Stergos welcomed us warmly and gave loads of tips and info - he is a friendly and smiling host! The space between wall and bed is a bit too small in studio nr 3!
Facilities were very modern and clean. Excellent service and friendly place to stay. Well priced and value for money. eally close to the beach, shopiing, eating and bar/clubs
The combination of the Old (building in the Medieval Old town) and the New (minimal furniture) was in perfect balance.
Fantastic location. Nice style, very nice and helpfull owner! Comfort. Why there is no kettle to boil water for tea in the kitchenett?..
