beautiful authentic extremely well maintained estate in a quiet picturesque lake in a nice established neighhood. modern conveniences, adorable rooms with fireplace. clean and no 'old' smell. delicious creative breakfasts served on antique china. I ate too much, but I did go for several walks to help work it off
Very nice staff, and helpful. There is a busy, elevated highway ramp just at the front of the property and a busy elevated highway just behind. The city seemed to have wanted to surround this beautiful place with concrete.
The lovely atmosphere and gardens. The location to downtown can't be beat. There were small spider webs in every corner of every room.
The staff was very helpful. The courtyard is very pretty. The room furniture was unique antiques. The shower is extremely small. The original description indicated that it was 1/2 mile from Disney. Instead it's more like 1/2 hour with no traffic. Breakfast was not what you'd expect from a B&B at this price level. We were initially assigned to a room that was 88 degrees because the A/C was broken.
Room was nice size. We saw pictures of the Phillips house but were put up at a 1950's style hotel next door.
