Very helpful staff and easy walking distance to the centre of the city. Some good restaurants and cafes and the Englishchergarten is nearby Very small room; hard pillows
Basic amenities, provides what one expects from a hotel: room with bathroom, door locks, quiet enough and decent breakfast.
Fiendly, clean and tidy. Good vfm No air con so hot and stuffy with windows shut; noisy with windows open (but didn't bother me).
Location, price and was quiet (apart from dustbin collection morning!). Staff were great, breakfast pretty good. Can walk to the city centre, Englisher Garten etc.
position parking not available; room very small
The location was very good. It was near the main railway station and old city centre. And the staff is also helpful. Breakfast was nice. I have a car and i need a parking space for my car. The hotel has a special parking space on site but it's really difficult to park in there. Very small and narrow.
It's location - in the center of Munich. The breakfast was delightful and rich. The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot. Rooms are very small, but it wasn't so bad.
The breakfast is very good. Heater doesn't work well.
The hotel had a lovely breakfast buffet included in the rate. Definitely a plus.
Hotel Antares provided an affordable alternative to the other Oktoberfest price-gauged hotels. The free breakfast was great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the large and modern bathroom. The hotel is located in a really cute neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to Old Town, 5 minutes to Odeonsplatz, and a 30 minute walk to the main train station. The rooms here are really tiny, even for European standards. We stayed on an unseasonably warm fall night, so we had to sleep with the windows open for some fresh air. This meant that all the noises of the city on a Friday night carried up into our room. I don't blame the hotel, but with only 7 stories, it's hard to find a room away from the noise.
Great location and value for the money. Courteous hotel staff. Would stay here again. Very small room, but not a big issue since we used the hotel only as a place to sleep.
Located in quiet street, 10 min walk from the place I had to be. Friendly staff, and a very good price for the quality.
Close to the Underground The single bed was not comfortable. They had construction work starting at 7am very loud.
2 blocks from the U2 subway line next to shops & restaurants on Augustenstr. 5 blocks to the Löwenbräu city brewery/restaurant about 2km to the Oktoberfest and about 2km from Marienplatz full-sized shower curtain (not one of those glass half-partitions) no problems to report
Clean room, reasonable prices, good breakfast. Rooms are small, poorly equipped and barely decorated. Very inconvenient access to the elevators. No free wireless internet.
air conditioning would be useful on hot nights. The stairs to the lift are a problem if you have a lot of luggage.
The Hotel is all at avarage level
The Hotel Konigswache was perfect for my brief stay in Munich. The advertised wan in the rooms was not working which caused me some inconvenience. I had to report the matter to the isp as the staff had no idea
Location No air-conditioning. Most places are designed for cooler summers !!
Line U2 underground direct connection to Munich Exhibition was good. Staff was unfriendlty and unhelpy.
The bedroom was excellent, with quality furnishings and was spotless. THe breakfast room and food were also excellent.
This is an excellent hotel for those wishing to visit the historic centre of Munich; ideal indeed for the great cluster of galleries just five minutes away. It is no less good for academics visiting the University. It is situated in a quiet street so sleep is uninterrupted. Staff were extremely friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and there weas abundant hot water. Breakfast was generous with first class quality food. It is excellent value for money with no frills.
The hotel staff was wonderful and very friendly. Excellent location. Nothing
quirky rooms bathroom tiny and sink in bedroom and not bathroom - reception not clearly signposted and hard to find when arriving late at night
Very close to shops and restruants, all the rooms are different bathrooms are very small, and the toilets make a lot of noise!!
Nice size rooms, very clean, comfy beds could do with more pillows as they were very soft, bathrooms are very small but do the job
The location is absolutely wonderful - the whole of Munich is right at your door step, without having to pay too much. It is located on a street with everything and anything one could need. Rooms are individually decorated with what appears to be antique furniture.
Location was good. Staff was friendly.
Great location. Rooms were nice and clean.
right in the city, could walk to shops, cafes and museums. offered parking for 10 euros a day. and the price of the hotel included breakfast. staff was not always there. was a bit confusing as to where to park and how to access the hotel when we came back from a night out we needed a code to get in but no one gave us that code.
Good location, conformable bed and very clean sheets Room is small and a little noisy
There are very kindness staff. Too narrow road to parking area.
Level of the hotel was in reality much lower than description, their website, and some reviews. Poor value, as the price was not so cheap.
