The free breakfast and the pool outside
That some of the rooms didn't have fridges and the air conditioning not working
it was ok
hot water issuesunken beds
Location. Very close to downtown bars and restaurants.
Pool wasn't very Clean. Beds not very comfortable. Air conditioner made loud noise.
Friendly staff willing to help
They have smoker and non smoker rooms on every floor, the hallway smell like cigarrettes anyways, which makes it like I'm in the smokers rooms!
You could hear everything outside the room. The walls seemed very thin. The fridge broke down but I fixed it.
It was a quiet setting.
Shelves dusty. Carpet at base was coming up. They ran out of bath towels so gave us pool towels. Breakfast was cereal or bagels or muffins. Yogurt was optional but this was breakfast was even on weekend. This hotel was not worth the --- maybe ---.
The staff were very accommodative and very pleasant. We will go back there again net year for soccer tournament
Would be nice if they can accommodate a small refridgerator.
Inexpensive, good location.
Room was a bit too warm.
The person at the front did not seem very knowledgable about the hotel management. There was no internet and the guests were being asked to call the internet company themselves so see if they would come out & fix it. Fruit flies were also in the room.
Total lack of appropriate management. Room not serviced, no interaction with management. They do not care!!!!
The bed was comfortable
There was a musty smell through the building and air conditioner. The tiles on the floor in the elevator were broke and missing. The side outside did not lock at night.
The girl at the front desk was really friendly I also liked that it was very peaceful and quiet and no loud people.
The room was okay I liked the tv and the bed was comfortable but the furniture was kind of old and the dresser had a broken handle also the breakfast was kond of limited there was no fruit left there was two kinds of cereal
It was clean enough and the air conditioning worked fine and showers etc. also worked well. The staff seemed friendly enough.
This was the only place where I used my credit card and 3 days after we left someone made a fake credit card and used it in one day in the Chicago and Wisconsin area and ran a large bill.
Hotel needs a major overhaul. The 'non-smoking' rooms smelled so bad, we chose not to even enter past the door. The room we changed to didn't smell much better.
I got a queen bed and paid for a king with refrigerator and microwave I got one plus the room still had someone's pretzels on the floor they didn't try to resolve anything plus the were remodeling
The housekeeper was friendly, however, slightly intrusive about doing her job while I was in the room.
Was in smoking room which reeked because the vents, carpets and furniture were not routinely cleaned. I had to rearrange shelving in refrigerator because the door would not close when I arrived. Ironing board not available/clock radio not available.
The location for places to eat and visit.
This hotel was a pit, by far the most run down and poorly cared for place that I have ever stayed at. The elevator was missing tiles on the floor, the room was dirty...I was afraid to walk barefoot.
Staff was friendly when checking in.
Room smelled of smoke. I do not smoke so that was upsetting.
Construction in front made access difficult.
the location to the event I was attending.
the pool was very small and not well protected from the public having access to it. The carpet in the hotel was old and dirt. The elevator was very small only a few people could fit inside and with luggage it was quite cramped.
Location was close to our activity and the price was low.
Very run down! Air conditioner was loud, TV remote did not work, carpet was not clean, needs renovation. The breakfast was poor, as well.
The pics on the site of the room weren't even close!!!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Large elevator, beds were comfortable.
Limited power outlets were inconvenient.
This hotel is nearby to Libertiville downtown, that makes it a good option. However, this hotel has not shuttle service, instead I used to call for a cab all week along. The breakfast is not the best, but is useful and you will save money.
The room was clean but the halls smelled of cigarettes. the shower didn't work properly, only giving a drizzle, but we were able to get clean. Otherwise it was a place to sleep. If you want a clean comfy place to sleep, then this is an inexpensive hotel. If you want ammenities, this hotel has none. WE spent most of our time with our son, not in the hotel
I stayed in this hotel because of price and location and quickly discovered that you get what you pay for. The hotel where my continuing education was located was twice as expensive, and if I could go back, I would have stayed there instead. There was some kind of basketball tournament going on that weekend and my biggest complaint was with the guests. Both Friday and Saturday nights, the hotel was noisy, including adult women catfighting in the parking lot and teenage girls running up and down the hall squealing. The hotel's wireless Internet didn't work either, and when I called to the lobby, the clerk acted like he didn't care there was no wireless. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.
Our room was clean and well aranged. Plenty of pillows and quiet hallways. The breakfast was just right. Plenty of room in the loby. A good price for a king size bed room. We'll stay there again.
We stayed there Sat Oct 11-13th. Room was clean and comfortable. For the price I think it was worth it. Nothing special, but I don't travel to hang out in the hotels. We went to Chicago Marathon and rode the Metra to Chicago. Metra station was close to hotel. Wildberry acrossed the street was an good place to eat in the morning. Again I will stay there again if in area, was nice for the price.
My stay at this hotel consisted of two nights and it was horrible. They have no respect for their clients. I am a small, petite woman, and I was staying by myself both nights. When I first arrived housekeeping was still cleaning my room, so I dropped off my luggage and left to keep out of the way. When I returned, the room window was open and I was on the bottom floor. Rule number, do not leave windows open, especially on ground floor. So, I unpacked and got ready for bed, went to close the window and lock it and my window did not lock properly. The bottom locked, but the top did not. I tried several times to get it to work, and finally went to the receptionist to ask for a different room. He argued with me about it, and told me it shouldn't be a problem, because we were in a good, safe neighborhood. I complained some more, and he finally agreed to look at it. The window would open about 2 - 3 inches, enough for someone to easily grab ahold of and break in, he ended up putting a metal ...
