Noisy, it's like staying in a motel. Location is horrible. Bathroom is like a hospital bathroom. Wifi didn't work...
The cleaning lady was very nice.
They charged me three times then the "manager" acted like he was doing me a favor by removing the extra charges. The place is hideous and old. There seemed to be one outlet in the whole place. Worst hotel experience ever don't go!
price. cheapest I could find in the area
CC put us in one of their Anex properties behind the main structure. the facility was "motel" quality at best. noise from the street very loud, hallway loud, stale smell. nevertheless, for the price it should have been expected.
I will Definitely pay the extra $20 to stay anywhere else next time I'm in Vegas!
OUR ROOM WAS DIRTY FLOORS,RUGS ALL STAIN. OTHER PEOPLE DIRTY CLOTHING BEHIND CHAIR. DID NOT FEEL SAFE IN ROOM
There wasn't much to say
First I arrived, checked in and was given a room with a view which I paid extra for, the view was of their other building. So asking to change rooms they refused. So in not one to really make a big deal so I stayed. After unpacking I went to go down to the pool and relax and the pool that still had any sunlight closed at 4:30 in the afternoon and they wouldn't tell me why. Just rushed everyone out. So no poolside relaxing for me. Tried to watch tv until I was going to meet some friends out in the town and they were all out of order or were fuzzy. I give up and just decide music on my phone will do and get ready. Ok, well I'm in Vegas so I go out on the town. The next morning I get up to shower and there is no hot water at all. Not the hotels fault but the person at the front desk was very very rude. I was trying to tell them that the bathroom was literally falling apart (the shower) and she hung up on me. Could not WAIT to check out of the hotel. I will never be back.
The staff was nice and accommodating, after complaints were made. I have never spoken to a manager before this trip, but I had to 2 times on this trip. I was able to get upgraded to the towers which are much nicer than the mannors, but still closer to a 2 star than a 3 or 3.5.
NOT close to the strip. It says 2 miles, but that is only if you are driving. Walking is more like 6 miles and if you take the bus (which is nice 20 dollars unlimited rides for 3 days). Due to stops it takes 40 min on average to go from Circus to the main hotels. Do NOT stay in the manors they are basically a ghetto motel 8 that you are still paying 100 plus a night for and a 25+ dollar a night resort fee. The main access to these run down extensions is across the street from the main motel and have street access that do not require a room key to get in. The shower is built for someone 4 feet tall or you get to shower with 1 hand and use the extension piece. No water pressure and no views from any of the rooms. It is only 3 stories tall and faces the much taller buildings or the other of the 3 extension buildings meaning you get to look at walls. The hotel shows its age and there is no poker room. Lots of slots and a few table games. They have an extension toward the front called slots of fun and if you are looking to just get drunk this place would be a good call. Cheap drinks and beer pong and pool. If you are looking for real Vegas nightlife this is not the hotel for you. It is near all buildings under construction and basically a dead zone. Only 2 breakfast options in the hotel, donuts and a buffet (the buffet is always 20 here and you can get it much cheaper elsewhere. I cannot comment on the food quality as I walked a block and ate at Denny's almost every day. If it was not for the staff I would have given Circus 0 stars. I honestly would not pay 25 a night to stay in the manors. I will not be back at this hotel.
The Manor was horrible and older than I am. I used 2 cans of lysol just to feel comfortable in that room. I could hear the amusement part all night and the air hardly worked. The people in the adjoining room attempted to get in most of the night.
I love the old time Vegas charm! It would take days to explore the inside of the hotel/casino! So much to do! Felt safe.
Long check in lines. Our room was a little dirty. There was water in the tub when we arrived. A tissue under a chair in our room. Old carpet. Noisy kids.
I liked that the room was not connected to the smoke filled casino.
I was very upset that I reserved my room 15 minutes before checking in and it listed king bed available and so i booked. Queen was the only abailable and the hotel clerk advised king beds had been booked since the previous day. This was false advertisement
The location was great.
Everything about this place was rundown and dirty. From the sheets to the carpet, stained walls dirty bathroom and stinky room. I'll never stay here again.
Hmmmmm, not quite much
Very dirty, no room service, kids running the place
The rooms were very clean, especially for one of the older hotels on the strip. The entertainment was definitely intended for anyone travelling with children
The staff from checking in to around the shops had no interest in taking care of the patrons. If you need assistance check with the security they seemed to be the only staff that was willing to do more than the bare minimum
There were roaches. And had trouble with keycards.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Domed amusement park was fun and good value.
Room was very old, dirty, smelly, AC in dirty and poor condition. Maintenance was lacking, shower leaked and drain was clogged. Long check-in time. I expect much more from an MGM operated property.
Stayed in Manor. Dirty, cheap, will not go back
Loved the circus themes things and performers. Have things for the whole family under one roof. Can't wait to carry the kids back.
On a positive note the hotel is located on the strip and close to other casinos. I am a 35 year old poker playing male and I never could find the poker tables at this location. I actually had more fun in the old arcade for kids upstairs. Apparently I wasn't the only adult that enjoyed the arcade more because there were quite a few more adults on that level. One of the few places In the casino were a quarter actually lasted longer than 30 seconds. And I actually won prizes up there. Most of the employees were polite and helpful. If you are a family with kids then this would be a good place to stay.
The casino floor itself was very limited with games. It was mid-week so I'm guessing most of the business came in on the weekend. I visited other casinos and most still allow smoking in the playing areas. The difference with circus though is the other hotels seemed to have better ventilation. Nothing like eating at the $20 buffet with a cloud of smoke hanging over you. It also seems that more gaming areas had been taken out to make room for cheap tourists gifts stands. Now I actually bought items in the gift shop but the others were set up all around the gaming areas like a flea market. The room itself was decently clean and somewhat comfortable. The tv looked like a high end model from 1993. I think it was the last remaining tube tv in the US. But the tv fit well for the rest of the room decor. I visited this hotel years ago with family when I was too young to gamble and in over 20 years since most of the hotel has not changed so if you're in to nostalgia then this is the place for you. I visited this time with the same family members from years ago and I did actually enjoy the nostalgia part and it reminded me of the old days. I'm also sure that most hotels charge some kind of hidden fee of $15-$25 but the fees I paid ($23 a day) cost as much as I paid for the room. Buyers beware of the cheap nightly rate and then the added fees. We had planned on booking circus circus in Reno for the next leg of our journey but after staying here we changed our minds and stayed at a much nicer holiday inn express. Would not stay here again with so many other options around the area. Do yourselves a favor and spend a few more dollars and stay at a place that has kept up with times.
The location is on the Las Vegas strip.
Room very dirty. Didn't feel secure in the hotel.
I love the family environment
I hated the inflated prices. Never paid this much to stay at circus circus
From all the bad reviews we didn't expect much, but our stay was perfectly adequate. The check in staff was great as were the bartenders. We never ate at the hotel, but all the restaurants looked fine.
The rooms in the West Tower are a hike to get to. As is anything else on the strip. Bring your walking shoes if you don't plan to take cabs! We walked the first night but the second day the sun was just too hot to do it again. Lots of kids.
Checked in with an employee by the name of Margarita. She was super friendly, and seemed to love her job. Was a pleasure working with her.
Check in was very well handled. the restaurant staff and food at three different restaurants were subpar at best.
The location of the hotel is great walking distance to other parts of the strip
The hotel is not very clean. The sheets on my bed were stained and requested to have them changed and no kne arrived to change them. Room service came the following morning and when i came back to my room the bed was made but the sheets were still the same. The hotel room was very dated with stains on the carpet, ceiling and bathroom.
The location is great and the food at tatuados was amazing great for the family.
Check out time was 11:00 not 12:00 like usuall
I took my wife and 2 kids for a Vegas trip. This casino has everything you need for a great time. From my 5 and 9 year old kids to my wife and I, we had the greatest family get away. Vegas isn't really kid friendly but this casino is perfect for a family with young ones.
I didn't like the fact that they sent us to the motel part of Circus Circus. I wish they would specified that part better when booking. The room was clean and had plenty of room for our luggage. Above all, great experience for the money spent.
More Restaurant Options Needed.
Loved the Adventuredome and all of those attractions especially the roller coasters. For families with kids, this is without a doubt the best Casino-Hotel to stay at. Loved Vince Neil's Tatuado, they had a great burger in there. The rooms were very clean and comfortable in the Skyrise Tower and were very spacious. The several casino areas were very cool and had the old school Las Vegas feel with the big bulb lighted entrance and sign outside, like how Vegas was intended to be.
I thought the pool was pretty lame, but the pool bar was good and the bartender did a fine job. Facilities overall at Circus Circus seem to be a bit run down and in need of renovations or at the very least a paint job. I understand you want to keep it like the classic original, but that doesn't mean it has to go unkempt. The pool was not at the level of the other great pools on The Strip.
The attractions for our kids we had a blast wish we could had stayed extra time
It is an amazing place to stay in Las Vegas
First of all, we had to walk so far just to get to our room when we payed for what seemed like a room within the main building itself and then to make it worse we get to our building d and it looks like a hooker motel. We walk into our room and it smelled of piss. Our shower was filthy. The curtains either the room was pitch black or the whole damn area could see through our window. I would never recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing, filthy, and did not live up to its "reputation" or its price.
The hotel price was inexpensive. The room was very comfortable. A lot of families with activities for the children.
It is a little bit separated from the rest of the strip. Overall the hotel is in need of a makeover. Loads of kids.
I Loved The Adventure Dome! &So Did My Daughter. All Day Passes When You Have Kids Are Totally Worth It! &They Give You Coupons For $5 Off When You Check In At The Front Desk
I Didnt Like The Fact That It Smells Like Cigarettes In The Casin But Thats Vegas For You!! LOL
Room was clean and comfortable. The rooms didn't smell like smoke!! Huge plus!! Surprised by the value of it. Would stay there again!
When we checked in we weren't given good directions for the parking. We were given just a general map and pointed out the door to try and find our building. Also quite a walk to other resorts. No shuttles offered.
Love the price hotel was clean and very accommodating
Didn't like the fact that they didn't have shuttles to the other side of the strip
Went to. Circus circus for a birthday. We had a three night stay all in all pretty nice. Stayed in manor room. Room was somewha t outdated and pool area a little outdated. However for the price and staff seemed nice all in all i would stay again
Security sucked, very unprofessional and not knowing of what is going around of their surroundings.
no fridge in room , staff were under manned on check -in and check -out. it took way to long.
Great place for a great price. I had a great time there and had fun. The casino was well kept along with most of their common areas.
The check in line was HUGE! Also everything felt outdated and older.
