Prós: The price was good. The staff really tried to help, but the restrictions from TAP headquarters made them effectively powerless

Contras: The flight was canceled last minute. TAPs phone support were not allowed to reschedule anyone on alternate carriers, but told me that the check in agents had that power. Meanwhile, the check in agents in Boston had been banned by TAP headquarters to rebook anyone on other carriers, and were unaware that the phone support were giving the passengers conflicting information. In the end I was automatically rebooked for a flight 72 hours later (not realistic for me...). I gave up and headed home from the airport after 2 hours. People who needed help with hotel bookings (not me luckily) most likely had to wait in line a lot longer than that

Prós: The crew was super nice. Everything went smoothly.

Contras: My gluten free meal had a carrot cake... the first ingredient was Wheat! If you have any type of allergy do not trust their food!

Contras: Customer service from the crew, it could be nicer and better attitude and more positive.

Prós: Mesmo no check-in não é possível escolher os assentos sem pagar tarifa.Solicitamos refeição para criança e especial sem lactose para um adulto, contudo não foram entregues no aeronave. No desembarque no destino final não foi entregue o carrinho de bebe que entregamos no portão de embarque. Somente dois dias depois. Isso causou muitos transtornos.

Contras: Opção de poder escolher assento fazendo check-in antecipado.Maior clareza para a solicitação de refeições especiais. Maior cuidado com itens entregues no portão de embarque, como carrinhos de bebe.

Prós: The lady checking me in was nice

Contras: Items were stolen from my bag

Prós: Nothing, Air Portugal is the worst I have ever experienced. Never fly Air Portugal, you have been warned.

Contras: A different airline

Prós: TAP always has great team members and crew. They are polite, professional and helpful. The flight itself is comfortable and relaxing; very enjoyable.

Contras: TAP does not check your bags all the way through if you are having a layover. This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever.

Prós: TAP HAS THE MOST COMFORTABLE SEATS THAT RECINE VERY VERY FAR.

Contras: CREW NEVER CAME AROUND AND OFFERED WATER, LIKE OTHER AIRLINES DO. THIS IS ESSENTIAL FOR GOOD HEALTH DURING A LONG FLIGHT OF 7.5 HOURS, AND SITTING ON THE PLANE FOR A TOTAL OF 8.5 HOURS.....

Prós: Food

Contras: I didn’t have time to make my second flight. This ruined our first day of vacation, completely. Not happy!!

Prós: Comida ok. Embarque ótimo.

Contras: Muito apertado. Algumas turbulências e tripulação não muito simpática.
