I didn't get my normal balcony view room. And the toilet had boo boo stains, in which took them an hour to come and clean, talk about doing the boo boo dance.....eek!
convenient for flights
we usually stay here the night before we fly out early morning, or when we have a late arrival. Staff is great an assisted my wife with an early check-in when I couldn't get there on time to pick her up. Comfy beds and the suite with the jacuzzi was amazing
rooms are a little dated
Not a 3 star hotel

Okay IF you get a great deal.
We got a great deal and the room was okay for that price point. If we had paid the regular price, I would have been very unhappy with the quality of the room.
The room was hit and miss. Some things were upgraded - the shower - while others were poorly maintained - some of the fixtures and furniture. It was nice to have continental breakfast but the food was of poor quality.
Really, Red Lion? REALLY??
I liked the staff. The girl on at the time was nice and flexible. The beds were comfortable enough. The location was okay, although it's literally in a food desert...unless you consider Dominos to be food.
The first floor rooms are basically in a cellar...it feels like a gross, dirty basement...full of gross Washington spiders. The hotel was really poorly "renovated," if that's what you want to call it. I can't believe that Red Lion would stand by this location. It's very deceiving. Thought I was getting a good deal, but realized I should've just stayed at a Motel 6...at least my expectations would be set. My room was nice-ish. One bed had unwashed sheets (they smelled unwashed), so I slept in the other- NBD. But woke up with bites on my neck. What was it? Not sure. Could be anything (*cough* including bedbugs). The not nice thing about my room was the bathroom. The ceiling above the shower had been SUPER poorly spackled (in that I could have done a better job with a jar of rubber cement). It was leaking gross ceiling water right where I would have stood had I been brave enough to shower. But I wasn't. Instead, I stole the fancy soaps and used them later on. I switched rooms twice (so was in three rooms) before I finally settled with leaky ceiling room, because I was just sick of moving around. The first room was insanely gross on the first floor; the second had someone else's clothes still in it; the third was leaky ceiling room. Again, I say, Red Lion...REALLY?? This experience has caused me to lose trust in Red Lion (I usually stay at one location in the Spokane area). But I just can't do it if they're willing to let places like this slither by. As I said, the staff were super nice, and I'm sure they decided to offer private franchises and stuff, but c'mon! Don't call a 1.5 star hotel and 3 star hotel and not expect people to be pissed off. It's like passing a Smart Car off as a Luxury Sedan...just doesn't work.
Clean, comfortable, convenient
Breakfast was mediocre
$66 for 3 people for a night's sleep plus breakfas
Clean, helpful staff, extremely clean & comfortable room/beds with a good breakfast included.
Older facility with maintenance issues (fogged thermopane window glazing) and noise from ajoining rooms.
Not ready for prime time yet-Aug 12 2016
Rooms were clean and well appointed although you would expect a small fridge these days. That they had breakfast was unexpected and nice. AC worked well and was remote controllled!
In mid renovation of an old travelodge when we were there. Pool renovation was not complete and they didn't tell us. Breakfast was jammed with very slow replenishment of major things: milk, juice, waffles, bacon and eggs. Hallways were yet to be done. Wifi was over capacity even though hotel didn't appear to be full. Staff was well intentioned but not seasoned.
Pretty basic hotel
Close to airport
Floor dirty, had to catch flight at 6am and coffee was from night before, pillows hard as a rock and huge, staff not friendly.
Not up to Red Lion standards in any way, shape or form. Beware.
Bed, TV, ac was cold, clean
It's obvious they are renovating the rooms. The bathroom could use a little more work and new carpet for the room.
It does the trick
It was a nice bed to sleep on, and a good TV to watch. My basic needs were met.
There was a lot of loud thumping, bumping, and talking in the hallway, and in several rooms above and next to me. As a result, sleeping was difficult. Caters to a lower class of patrons.
