Hotel Royal

We booked the executive suite, which looked really great in the pictures and the location of the hotel is quite good.

The first room we got into had pretty much nothing in common with the ones advertised for the same category, which is why we asked for a different one which was slightly better, but still far from the website‘s photos. Apparently all the „executive suites“ look very different, but the hotel conveniently advertises only the best two rooms and then puts you in the worst ones even when the hotel is seemingly empty. On the first day there was no sign of any room service until 6pm, while we were in the room getting ready for dinner. We said we just about to leave and asked for them to come back later, but apparently the entire staff had to „go home“ at this time so no room service for us that day. On our last morning we decided to get the breakfast in the room for which you have to fill out a form about what you‘d like and at what time and then hang it at your door before 9:30pm the night before. We put the form for breakfast at 9:00am the next morning on our doorknob upon heading out for the afternoon. The next morning after - at this point unsurprisingly - breakfast still hasn‘t arrived at 9:45 we called the reception. Finally after being passed on 3 times the conclusion was that „the form has been lost because we put it out too early“ the day before.
