As only rated 2 star didn’t expect too much ,my room in older part of hotel at back so was worn , damaged and repaired , but on arrival smells of lemon so you know has been cleaned. Double bed was fine, tv is small and only about 10 channels worked none are English speaking. This hotel is at top of the pass so you need a vehicle to reach, has own parking out front. It is ski in and out unless they close the lifts in which case long walk uphill from town. Where this hotel was far better than expected was the food. Buffet breakfast and dinner but stretched along side of restaurant meant huge choice, over 10 desserts each night and constantly changing. Bar prices 2.80euro for beer , about 11 euro bottle wine. I was only paying 55euro half board for one person and the food was worth a good 30 euros of that so I felt very good value. My mistake was I didn’t have a car and there are no buses past hotel and taxis have to be pre booked. So I actually walked the 3km uphill from town with skis and suitcase , not for the faint hearted. The hotel has a ski hire shop underneath which I do not remember being mentioned, but would have been useful to know. I may have been only English person at time as mainly Spanish and French cars. The receptionist spoke perfect English and the rest of staff coped with basics, so yes if I was driving here would consider staying again because of the food , though in bad weather they can close the pass and you won’t reach.

breakfast was fair for an 2 star hotel. location is not very good. you need a car to get there!!!is far away from pas de la casa around 10\15 minutes by car.
I am travelling quite a lot and this is been so far the worst experience in a hotel I ever had. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody. room does not look like the pictures. much more old fashion. receptionist not very helpful, every time I asked help she said didn't have anyone at that moment. looked like they are very much short of staff and it is really a nightmare to get anyone to sort out anything you need. my car got blocked in the snow which is pretty normal if THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE CAR PARK and took me two hours to get a member of staff to help me. the next day I couldn't get out the indoor car park, again because nobody cleaned the the main access to the hotel, and nobody to help me. I've been forced to ask help to other guest were there, otherwise I would wait for another4 two hours. And the most incredible thing is that the hotel DO NOT HAVE OUTDOOR CAR PARK, AS THEY DESCRIBE ON BOOKING, instead they using the main road as a parking for the guest, which you can get a parking fine fare if you park there. I ve told by the Andorra tourism point. they never ever apologise to me. The manager blocked me the room card on purpose to talk to me on the reception. which I think is an absolute inappropriet behaviour towards a guest who payed the stay and did not damaged anything or not been disrespectful with everyone, to tell me in a very rude way that the hotel is a 2 start and so there meant nobody to help the guest and I should not ask help when the only one receptionist they have on duty is busy booking people in. I left before I the date I payed to another hotel and I made a formal complain in the hotel. I never experienced this before. leaving a hotel to another while you are on holidays is something very annoying and is because you ve got strong reasons for that.

The room was very small low ceiling which felt very claustrophobic and very dated.
