Carlton Tel Aviv Hotel

This was a return visit. You couldn’t ask for anywhere safer and cleaner and lovely to stay during this stage of the Coronavirus. We were very fortunate to be in The Carlton at this very sad time. As everything was closing down and regulations tightening by the day the staff were all very good and considerate and optimistic. It was lovely to have breakfast served in the Blue Sky Restaurant at this time and look over the beautiful Tel Aviv skyline and to walk along the magnificent seafront with the varied scooters and bikes on the cycle path and the walkers and runners all exercising and to hear the waves breaking and to go in the beautiful park to see small groups of families playing relaxing isolating but looking happy. I wish good health to all the Carlton Staff who were so calm and reassuring especially Jeremy and Dima. We were to be the last guests when suddenly groups of stranded tourists arrived as all the other hotels were closing. They are truly ‘trapped in Paradise’ staying in The Carlton. BH it will be back to normal once again before too long.

You cannot stay naked in the sauna, as it is a small, mix one.

The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The location was excellent. We had a slight problem with the booking and were compensated by the PR staff very agreeably.

Quite expensive.

Sharon Kol, the PR manager, is a wonderful employee and was very helpful. The pool is great.

Some of the staff can be rude and patronizing.

We were upgraded on arrival to an executive room and it was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was overlooking the beach and very plentiful .......very Israeli! No complaints at all.
