My room was on the 8th floor, the wifi didn't work and o couldn't get my reports done for work nor my homework for school. Each time i walked into the bathroom there were roaches crawling on the floor and the counter. The view was aimer
The roaches and bad wifi.
Very helpful & Responsive staff
Room was cheap
Had 2 double beds instead of the king we reserved, and my husband is 6 ft 1. Had to ask for towels. Hotel is run down.
WE HAD NO WORKING ( AC ) WAS VERY HOT AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE,, , DID NOT SERVE ANY KIND OF BREAKFAST ,, NOT EVEN COFFEE IN THE ROOM WOOD FLOOR , , ,FIRST TIME EVER I SEEN WOOD FLOOR IN ANY KIND OF HOTEL OR MOTEL
It is located in a very posh and prestigious area.
First of all the front lobby staff was not friendly, professional, and courteous. The lady assigned us the room (411) which was under renovation, the carpet was ripped off the floor,. There was only one stationary chair and small desk. When we arrived in the room a guy was installing an old model big box TV and Telephone. There was not a single trash can in the Bath Rm and the Bed Rm. We were met by a very nice guy named "Daniel", who gave us the other room (811). It was nice and acceptable. The phone was not working. We had problem with towels and had to go down to ask the front desk attendant for them every day and were told, they were in the washing, will come later. The hallways were not vacuumed. Laundry room had only one light in the long room at the end and most of the room was dark. There was no sign on the door for laundry.
Dirty, dark, damp, creepy
Ac old and not working. I ask for a fan they did not have it. I will never go there again under no circuimstance
The rooms were dirty the carpet and the walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, everything was really old needs updating. The pool looked dirty.
Horrible Rooms a mess felt dirty just standing waiting to be checked it Peeling floors price too good to be true and theres' a reason for it Never going back
I will never stay here again
Everything molds in rooms
I hated all of it.
The hotel was nasty. Cockroaches, stains, nasty dirty ripped carpet. It was a hotel out of a horror film, Where the hooker is found dead bound and gagged. I travel for a living and Iv stayed in a motel 6 in the getto of las Angeles that was nicer then that dump. Staff was super rude and unhelpful. waking up in the morning was like living in a nightmare that came true. I had been on the road for hours and got to the hotel late. First room that have me had roaches all over it. Second room had nasty moldy carpet and the maids didn't clean the bathroom. I was to tired to argue again. I was no more then 15 min In to tryin To sleep I was awoken by a domestic dispute. that continued repeatedly. horrid place of hell.
nothing, if I had another night booked I would have cancelled and went someplace else
Needs updating noise between rooms was unacceptable,
I liked the lobby.it was beautiful! However, my room, the elevators, were not in tact. My room door was loose. It looked like my bed was made but the bedskirt had a huge bloodlike stain. Nothing else was wiped down. The sink had gook in it. I called for an iron and got an attitude. The elevators need updating. looked like mildew was falling from the ceiling. Id never go again nor recommend anyone.
Inverrary is a large resort centrally located in Fort Lauderdale. It has nice grounds, a large foyer and amenities more commonly found in upscale resorts like a spa.
Inverrary generally gets bad reviews, so I was relieved that our room was clean and our experience with the staff was fine. It was better than expected. With that said, the rooms do have a dated feel to them and lack certain amenities you expect in a resort hotel. We had no coffee maker, no bathroom cups and no bedside clock radio. The wall-mounted body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower would have been a nice touch except that the dispensers weren't labeled. Our only room maintenance issues were a badly clogged bathroom sink and a burned-out light bulb.
Upon arrival, the broken curb sliced the sidewall of my tire. I informed the desk of the damage and that they needed to place a cone over the area to warn drivers and pedestrians. Nothing happened. In the morning I took the desk personnel to the problem site to again tell them of the problem and I found that the area had been painted as a problem site so long ago that the fluorescent paint was so faded that I hadn't even seen in the dark the previous night. the morning staff informed me that they could not address my ruined tire because there was no one from management on site who had the authority to authorize paying for the tire. They took my contact information and told me that a manager would call me the next morning. Two days later and still no call. Given the lack of maintenance and housekeeping, why would I expect them to actually call. While checking in (near midnight) another couple was leaving after seeing the room. I thought the wife was just picky. I got to my room and turned down the bed to find stained linens on the bed. Fortunately there were two beds and the second bed was OK. I would have gone downstairs and checked out, but I was exhausted and there were at least 8 people in line at the front desk who had issues that needed to be resolved, and it those issues were handled as well as the unsafe condition I had encountered I would have gotten NO SLEEP because I would still be waiting to get service. After using the bathroom, I found there were no toiletries provided (fortunately I had a bar of soap in my luggage. The shower had a toiletries dispenser in the tub, but the shampoo section was missing the insert and there was only one squirt of the body wash. There were also no washcloths. Thank goodness for the supplies in my suitcase. In the morning I had planned to microwave a breakfast sandwich, but the microwave had a previous food explosion, there was no sponge or even washcloths so I didn't eat breakfast. Then I looked in the kitchen sink! There was a rack in the bottom of the sink with so much mildew that the bottom half of the rack was black, not chrome. The AC unit must have been the original unit from the 60's because it was a free standing, rusty unit in the corner of the room. Every time the AC came on, the fan rattled. I got a poor night sleep between getting to bed after 1:00 am, the noisy AC, the unclean room conditions, and the old mattress. I remember Inverrary as the site of the Jackie Gleason PGA tour event. I was shocked that the Inverrary Vacation Resort was now a DUMP!
price was right
rooms were cold, couldn't move desk chair on tile, antiquated TV, parking lot seemed unsafe, not enough parking, It is obvious this was a nice Hotel at one time but it seems to have been neglected. On the other hand the price was right for what it is.
1.Room is not cleaned. 2.Soap dispenser was empty and they did not refill it so I had to go to wall mart to buy my soap and towel because they didn't give me fresh towel the last two nights. 3. No free wireless internet. That was a lie 4. The guest phone was in the bathroom, so you have to go to the bathroom to make any phone call.
I have never been to an all inclusive hotel that does have are a fridge a iron a microwave blow dyer in the room
The price of $73 a night was competitive with most hotels in Ft. Lauderdale.
First off the room was ICE COLD! In December, the temperature was a cool 65 degrees and the hotel room was colder inside then it was outside. I called the front desk and asked why the heat wasn't working-the receptionist stated, most Florida hotels have air conditioning but not heat-which is not true. She also said they only have 2 heaters and both are being used. So basically I was out of luck! I sat in my room for hours with a jacket on then went to the front desk and DEMANDED something be done or I was checking out. The manager promised she'd look into it but I never head back from her. It's only after I threatened to call corporate that they finally gave me a portable heater and an extra blanket. Other complaints were that the TV was fuzzy. There was mold in the shower. The iron didn't work and at 7 am when I woke up to get dressed, the electricity was off. When I called the front desk I was told I'd have to wait until maintenance came at 8 to fix it! At $73 a night, I guess you get what you pay for!
The balcony view and quite....was on the 7 floor
once i made the reservations it was a problem with the front desk and getting the fax about the reservation because this hotel does not go through KAYAK. The room was clean but the was no soap in the bathroom. The shower had low water pressure, so taking a shower was..THE WORST
golf course and grill room top shelf
you get what you pay for. weak signal wifi, rooms neat and clean but in disrepair. the lobby guy let a guest sprawl out on a couch in the lobby with a blanket sound asleep. short restaurant hours. i will not return.
