Other than location not much else.
Most of the room was broken. Exposed wiring in the desk 120 volts. Good thing I didn't have kids. The curtains didn't close. The shower curtain had holes in it. Housekeeping came one out of my six day stay. I would have had better service at a motel 8.
Great location. Outdated rooms and not clean. Hair in the shower, dirty towels, dirty all around
This hotel was conveniently located in Downtown Denver, nearby all of the restaurants and shops we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly, our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and there was adequate parking in a fenced area for added security.
We found a used condom on the floor of our room at check-in. There were black scuff marks on the walls. Housekeeping did nothing more than make the bed on the second day of our stay. This hotel has a green initiative for laundering towels, but it seems they prefer not to replace them at all. The dirty towels we left on the floor to be taken were instead placed back on the counter. Our airline delivered our misplaced baggage and the front desk didn't bother to notify us that it had arrived. I love old buildings, but this particular building is badly in need of updates. The heating system is quite old, the walls were so paperthin that we could hear our neighbors coughing as if they were in the room with us, the bathroom counter was chipped in several places, seams in the bathroom were poorly caulked, and the halls were dimly lit. We were on a non-smoking floor, but the halls were constantly filled with the smells of marijuana and cigarette smoke. We were awakened in the middle of the night be people yelling, running, and fighting in the halls. Although we appreciated the central location and we were rarely in our room to be bothered by these things, the cons added up and we would not stay here again.
The staff were great and very helpful. The shuttle was a nice addition as well.
The room and entire hotel smelled somewhat mold-like and musty. The elevator sounded like it was from the 50s. There were stains on the sheets, carpets, and bathroom. The temperature control was broken and just kept spinning so we froze all night. Blankets were so thin.
Distance to downtown, In house bar
2in gap between flooring and door, low quality.
Staff was great!
When I decided to change hotels the staff was polite and helpful.
The place had a leaky roof and was really old and dingy. There was furniture I wouldn't want to sit on in my room
Easy access to downtown Denver and sightseeing. Walking distance from a ton of great places.
It was an older building so the floor plan layout was a bit small. Bathroom was tight and hard to move around in.
Booked my room and had to wait for 2 hours to actually get into it because they overbooked
Close proximity to venues of interest. It's an OK place in a bad part of town.
Staff entered room twice in the morning, without knocking or greeting, before 8 am and around 10 am. Happened in both rooms we occupied, but "only" once in the second room.
Near to downtown
Staffing was really poor and facilities were contantly breaking down
The Ramada was an okay hotel. You get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable. We had a first floor room which allowed us to have a patio in front of the pool area. It was nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy time with my friends. The location was great too. Great walking distance to the aquarium, Cherry Creek mall, and several bars/restaurants. Jason at the front desk was amazing! He gave us a lot of great advice on things to do in Denver and where to go if we wanted to explore. Very hospitable person and genuinely cares for each guests' experience.
The first staff member we encountered was rude and not accommodating whatsoever; not the best first impression. The breakfast buffet I didn't feel was worth the price we paid; food was cold and there was little selection. As for our room, there was a stain on our bed, the sink was slow draining, the toilet constantly ran through the night and the air conditioner was unusually loud.
Location. 1.5 miles to downtown.
@ time of check in, I asked if we had a microwave and refrigerator. I was told that the rooms have been upgraded and there shold be one in there. There wasnt. I was traveling w a 3 yr old and had brought snacks milk and juice. I called down for one and they wanted to charge me 10.00 for something I was told should be there. They hAve a complimentary shuttle that left us downtown. We had to find a taxi when the shuttle said they would come back for us. Then the next morning after we all took a shower the I noticed the wall and floor were soaking wet from it leaking. I called down and they said someone would come up. No one did. Then a breakfast buffet is advertised for 630-1030 during the week. By 9 everything was empty and it took them 30 min to refill the buffet. My 3 year old and I were not happy!!!!! Will never stay ir recommend again!
Terrible smoke smell in the hallway.
It was clean comfortable
Thin walls I could hear people screaming next door & in the hallways all throughout the night. Carpet had stains air conditioner made too much noise.
Close to downtown
There was an ant infestation in the room mostly in the bathroom! Horrible not worth the money I paid for this stay.
