Seemed to have a good amount of activities to offer There was a blood stain on one of the pillow cases
I really enjoyed the dining room staff. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The flowers were gorgeous and if I had not been there to visit friends I would have loved sitting on the patio and swimming. My dog felt very comfortable.
Blue Rock was a lovely hotel which was priced well. I loved that we could spend time at the other beach front resorts that were also part of the Red Jacket resorts.
the staff were all very nice and helpful. Whenever you needed anything from directions to reservations, they were prompt, friendly and helpful. I loved the fact that it was right on the beach and had both indoor and outdoor pools. I wished there had been more activities available at this hotel such as tennis rather than having to go to one of the other properties. I also feel that food was on the expensive side, and maybe some complimentary breakfasts could have been included
Room was very private and very clean. Beach was well kept, the pool area and landscaping were inviting. Parking was more than enough and convienient to each room.
Having the availability of a private beach was quite nice. It would be nice if all rooms were equipped with a microwave and coffee maker.
Nice location.Very family friendly. I booked for 2 double beds but I was given a king size bed. However I was compesated by upgrading me to an oceanfront room for the same price.
We like Full use of all resorts associated with Red Jacket Resorts and the location is perfect with many activities for the kids and restaurants to choose from... Not that I didn't like it... But, Althought the Continental Breakfast is free, they could've added a little variety to choice each morning with breakfast... One day pancakes... Then eggs... Then French toast... And switch up the everyday sausage that goes with breakfast... Maybe bacon... Etc...... But really.. Who can complain about free..
The beach, the beach and the beach Having to come back home
Right on the Beach, Pool overlooks Beach, and Seafood resturant just down the road No, just what I was looking for
Hotel room was clean. Expensive for what it is; however, the 1 night minimum helped us out a great deal when in town for a friends wedding.
The grounds were very nice and clean. Beach area was very clean. Staff was very nice The beds were not that comfortable but not enough so that I would not recommend the hotel.
I have stayed at the Blue Water during the summer months and, this time, during September with less people. I enjoyed both vacations equally. Being on the water with such a beautiful beach was wonderful. There is plenty of beach to walk and feel alone, or to be on the beach with other people. I appreciate the chairs and umbrellas available to guests. Nothing I did not like. We had noisy people above us during the first night. We mentioned this in the morning and our room was moved to an even nicer patio room. The rooms could be updated a bit, although they were clean.
very nice room with a great view, nice and clean, food was good nothing
Very happy with the location, hotel room was chalet type close to beach area. Facilities to cook and fond it very comfortable.
Very clean Needs a major face lift! Absolutely needs to be updated!
Proximity to ocean and tiki bar, available chairs , clean food in restaurant was subpar
beach was very nice, but the restaurant was very poor if they have a nice restaurante will be perfect ... anyway they nedd good restaurante... restaurante close at 8 p[m was just sandwiches,
We had to attend a memorial service on Cape Cod and sort of stumbled upon the Red Jacket. We were pleasantly surprised. Nicely appointed room, very quiet. Great facilities, pool both indoor and out door, nice beach (although it rained for the two days we were there). Very friendly and accommodating staff. We did not eat at the restaurant but, by the looks of the number of people who did, I would sample it on a return visit. Highly recommended. the weather!
Great location, beautiful property, excellent service. You never need to leave the property. Everything you need is there. The breakfast buffet is great.
The views and the fact it's on the beach are great qualities. As a young couple with no kids the resort can get loud at times in the pool areas.
good location Beach was not good- they should make effort to rake up seaweed for guests.
Good service, very clean, nice pools, breakfast. We had a small problem with electric and they fixed it with the hour. No bacon at breakfast. People smoking outside the exits.
Breakfast is not hot food except pancake. Just serial food, bread, some fruits only. Inside pool is warm and good, but it's too deep for children at some areas.
the so called deluxe continental breakfast consisted of sugar filled carbohydrate only. There could have been a greater choice of fruit and yogurts...........
Comfortable accommodations, responsive and nice staff, pool and hot tub
Indoor, Outdoor pool, quick drive to the beach, included breakfast. Outdoor locks didn't work so you had to go the long way to get in, indoor pool was over chlorinated and hurt my eyes.
i liked the pool and jacuzzi and the beach and shopping and clam chowwddaaa the adult pool hours need to be extended at night.
It is a great value for money, the hotel is i a good location, surpassed my expectations. We were there at the end of the season, so the Main St.traffic was minimal. Breakfast included in the price, which makes my life ( travelling with a kid( so much easier, even if it is basic carbs, carbs, carns, bananan and yougurt type of breakfast;-) . The stuff was very nice, they gave us a room woth additinal queen bed, when learnt that we were coming with a small child. Things I would improve: the coffe in the morning could be a tad stronger, even by American standards, it was weak! Some people may not like having a room the only window of which open on the indoor pool: but it didn't botehr us much: after all we spent most of the time outside of the room and in the evening the pool closes at 9PM, so no more noise after then.
It was a clean comfortable stay...
Simple & Clean. Good value for money. Nice pools for kids. Great waffles for breakfast. Bathroom/showers needs a little overhaul.
quite new hotel, located 10 min drive to the beaches space too small for breakfast, we had to wait to seat
Rooms were great. Beds were comfortable. Not bad for the price. The bathroom was very small.
pet friendly pillows
Bathroom No tv remote in the room
Location and they allowed for 1 night stay in August.
Modern bathroom, flat screen tv, clean room Noisy walking on deck can be heard from the room all night, no vending machines
Motel staff was very helpful. Air conditioning was loud. Rug needs to be updated. Pool needs to be warmer.
the hotel over charged my credit card by 448.64 which left me 6 dollars to travel with for 4 days until it was put back. then the hotel did not match the listing. I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone not even to people i don't like
We just needed a place to sleep and grab a quick breakfast while exploring Cape Cod. It did that Dusty underneath and behind furniture.
Conviently located to beaches, great restaurants and shopping Pillows and comforter need updating

the room was clean and when they realized they made a mistake they gave me a free upgrade to the room the staff made a mistake on the dates I had booked to stay there. and argued for 15 minutes about this then realized they had made the mistake.
Current rating is just ONE star. So technically, this FAR surpassed a one-star rating and surpassed expectations on that level. Hotel has all the perks that the $--- a night place just down the road has, but for a way better rate. Friendly service too! The only thing that was a little difficult was that we couldn't individually control the heat in the room. Being abnormally cold for the end of March, we would have preferred a tad more heat during our stay. But with enough layers on, it was fine.
personal very nice, big rooms and the pools are great! Not enough plugs in the room... we couldn't use the fridge, the lamp and plug our cell phones....too bad!
Can't beat the location, walking distance to Hyannis center. Hotel is dated. Smells of must, chlorine and carpet cleaner, yet isn't that clean. Old and tired looking, needs an overhaul.
The size of the bed & their heating system Yes there was no microwave
Good location close to bus terminal and visit the whole Cape Cod peninsula. Good breakfast buffet. Part of the hotel was under renovation.
Didn't have a room upon check in....was given a room key and walked in on another family asleep. Eventually given a room that was dirty. Management is a disaster. Never going back to this place ....
Friendly and helpful staff. Quite a difference between the hotel pictured on the Internet and the actual physical condition of the property. It isn't very modern. Kind of old motel in reality.
location, attitude of the staff , cleanness of every area of Hotel. I would stay at this Hotel again. .Also has ramps for the Handicap. Handicap spaces were not in front of the rooms, at least in the area that I stayed. Handicaps spaces were there but was not an easy accessible to the room. Regular car had better accessible to the room.
The hotel offered a very good location, close to all attractions, including the main town and restaurants. The rooms and public areas where in need of refurbishing. We had a problem when checking in and finally was given an upgrade, so all my comments are based on this accommodation.
The position of the hotel is perfect for the ferry to the islands right across the road. Also a few restaurants and a lovely coffee shop doing great breakfasts and free wi fi. o my goodness our first room was so small we could hardly sit down after a meeting with the manager he moved us to a better room.No eating facilities within the hotel which we found very odd.
Lack of facilities - The pool was closed and there was no bar or restaurant available. The soundproofing was poor whhich meant the room was very noisy caused by people walking along corridors.
Walking distance to ferry and two good restaurants. Room was not arranged well. Inadequate elec. outlets. Bathroom door did not shut and bed linens were ill-fitting.
Location Climbing all the stairs to room. not easy, and location of room 243
The staff was very friendly. Room was neat. Nice continental breakfast. The sheets were a little rough. Lots of bleach... which can be a good thing too.
Extremely friendly staff at the front desk - great value for money - fine rooms. We´ve been travelling all over the world for 6 months - this was one of the best value for money we´ve got. No
Richard, in the reception, was a wonderful host!
Very quiet, very friendly, helpful staff, close to all points of interest. Will difinitely stay again. nothing to dislike.
Location was great- your are right in the middle of Cape Cod and so can get to wherever you want to be. A great base.
Very friendly helpful reception staff. No problem about ordering take aways, reception staff said restaurants deliver to the room. Have m/wave, ice machine and hot drinks facilities in lobby. Room clean. Definately would recommend this. We had two rooms for our family of six.
The room was large and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Location is not central but is adjacent to a shopping mall (which has its advantages). Local bus service is very cheap and some routes pick up very close to the hotel.
location, front desk staff, free internet, pools breakfast room too small
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is easily accessible from the main roads and there is parking near the room. Supplies of bathroom and coffee were generous. The shopping mall next door makes an easy time filler between day and evening activity. A nice touch was to offer computer access for those who did not bring their own laptop. I did not like the possition of the hotel - it is on a main road with no pavements and far from the port and the beaches. For me personally I selected the wrong place.
Room smelled awful. Place was shoddy.
The floor was wet and the air conditioner was loud and smelled bad.
Jacuzzi in room plus huge shower with multiple shower heads for two. Booked room and stated included jacuzzi but when check in told not in room so had to upgrade & pay extra.
We loved that we were overwhelmed with the scent of bleach when we opened the three room door, to the point we even had to air out the room by opening the window. This might be a negative to some people but to us it means that we didn't have to clean the tub ourselves to be sure it was clean. Front desk person in the AM was very cheerful and efficient (can't say the same about when we checked in) Luckily my husband and I could tell the difference between clean and things (such as the mirror in the bathroom and the plug in the tub) needing replacements or updates (but I'm sure it is tackled on the off season.
The staff were very nice, and good location. Right on main at. The hotel was run down and needed some serious updating. The common areas were not very clean, especially the outside and lobby. The room was dusty and the carpet could have used a good cleaning. Not that big a deal. Was really quiet for Main St. The staff were really sweet. I've stayed at worst! Michelle
This place was pretty scary. The windows of the hotel look like they haven't been washed in years. There was water damage spots and paint chipping in the rooms. There was a giant jacuzzi tub which I didn't understand the purpose of. The bed/sheets seemed clean but the rooms in general were gross.
The staff was not friendly. They were rude, yelled at us when we called to request extra towels. We were told by front desk breakfast was until 10:30. Went down at 10:10, and breakfast was over. Apparently it ends at 10. The man was very nice and apologized. He said we were the second couple that was told 10:30. Other hotel guests came up to us and asked if the blonde at the counter was rude to us. Apparently, other guests were yelled at by her as well. The room was disgusting. Ants were climbing along the window. The bed was broken and held up by a wooden board. The furniture looked like it was from the side of the road. And we stayed in one of the more expensive suites! I was told by a local this hotel is considered a "party hotel" for the locals. They don't keep it up because the locals trash the rooms. We are a couple in our mid 30's who were looking for a romantic night away. I would not recommend this. In fact, I have traveled all over the world, and have stayed at many other spots on the cape, and this is the first time I've taken time to write a poor review. I understand things can't be perfect all of the time, but this was horrible. Dirty, very rude staff. I cannot come up with one good thing other than the man who apologized to us for breakfast. You can get something much better, in the same location. Look elsewhere! It's worth the extra $20 to stay in a spot that isn't littered with ants.
Not much. Room was filthy. You could see the grime built up on all the tables in room. All of the wallpaper in room and hallways is falling off. I've been coming here for over 20 years and they have never redecorated at all.
Not much Dirty and old. My wife yelled at me when we showed up, she wasn't happy with my selection.
Location The jacuzzi in our room didn't work when we got there took them 3 hours to fix it. The tv only got one channel and was very fuzzy but they said they couldn't do anything about that and then the last night we where there we got locked out our room for over an hr because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the door turned out to be the batteries had died in the card reader and after another 45 min all the manager said was here are your new keys have a good night bye no apologies or anything
Nothing Room was very outdated and smelled. Bathroom was disgusting. However it was a slight step up from the first room they tried giving us that smelled like mold.
Spacious suite, relatively convenient location The decor and building layout reminiscent of funeral homes, and the smell inside the room reinforced that feeling. Things appeared old and tacky.
Location of the hotel was very convenient, easy to find and walking distance to food and shopping. First room we were given had very strong moldy smell. Gave me headache just in minutes of being inside. Asked for change of rooms. Second room smelled like chlorine, but wasn't worst than the first one so we settled with it. Beds were not comfortable at all. They sagged in the middle and mattress toppers were out of place with folds here and there. One of the towels in the bathThis had yellow stain on it. This was the worst experience among many Holiday Inns we have stayed in.
Lovely room, nice staff, pool and beach right there.
The Facility was beautify with great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very disappointed in the room location. It was way in the back in a small corridor. The room was so dark and secluded. At night there was a bright light shining in the corridor that kept us up. Very different from the photos.
Just spent 5 nights with my family. What a great find! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was brand new. They are going through renovations, which we were aware of, NOT a problem! When the renovations are completed, this resort is going to be awesome! From their GM (Jake), Front Office Mgr. (Malisia?), Front Desk Staff (Rick) and a few others that I couldn't remember their names, we couldn't have asked for better service.
Close to the beach. Front desk agent upon check-in was
The beachfront property has undergone some extensive renovations-two bedroom with small kitchen and living room were a great way enjoy our daughter and granddaughter. However no deck or balcony is completely unacceptable Our room was the worst room possible. After being guaranteed a deck/balcony we got the too next to the lobby-with just a door along a walkway.we smoke and had to stand outside our door like a couple of fools, not even a chair
met our needs and the price was right needs some repairs
We got to the hotel, and there was a sign in the window stating 'be right back". We called the # on the sign and was told the manager was on the way. We were told we couldn't get in early as all rooms were booked. And then were told to find the maid and she can show us a room. There was not a car in the lot. We looked at the room and it was horrible. We did not stay.. The pool was filled with green slime.. We called Booking.com and they are helping us What a dump.. We ended up staying at a nice hotel in another town. Please review your listings, as this place is 0 stars..
Staff was great. OK for cost, no extras
we were unable to stay because they did not honor our request for a handicap accessible room. very disappointed as it left us searching for a new place to stay.
Location and value for money Receptionist sent us to the wrong ferry
Comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor pools Both my rooms smelled really bad, one of them has empty liquor bottles in the dresser and the room smelled like the previous person to stay there spilled rum and vodka all over the floor, when we told the hotel they said they would send a person to clean up. The person never arrived when we returned to the main office the offered a can of Lysol cleaning spray. Both rooms also had a faint smell of cigarettes
In an area where economical means $100+ this place does a good job of providing a clean, safe location that is convenient to all that Hyannis and Cape Cod offer. Free light breakfast, easy access to a busy main street and responsive management Wifi sorta sucked, well, actually it sucked a lot.
The room smelled good and I liked the bathroom as it had somewhat of a European feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were in walking distance of Hyannis center, with lots of restaurants and the marina area. The room was basic and fairly quiet. The clientele spent a lot of time sitting with large parties in the parking lot. That was kind of strange. There's no gym. The breakfast didn't open until 8:00, and there wasn't much provided- hard boiled eggs, frozen waffles, juice, coffee from a machine, badges and cereal. Pretty crowded since everyone had to wait until 8:00 to eat. The hairdryer didn't work and the overhead lamp stopped working while we were there.
Location was close proximity to the harbor where we had to catch the ferry. Room smelled like smoke and musty. A/C should have been kept on. Continental breakfast selections were inferior Continental room is tight, we had to bring back the food into our room to sit down.
Rooms were very clean, newly renovated, good water pressure, good hot water, big rooms. There was a breakfast room with good selection of breakfast items with staff bringing in more pastries at 5 mins before breakfast closed so everything was good. Great outdoor pool an great indoor pool. Makes one want to stay longer. The king size bed was great for me but my wife found it to be too hard for her to sleep on. We were on the first floor and could hear children running along the balcony at night and any jumping on the floor above us. But it was not a problem for us as the noise stopped before we went to sleep.
Really enjoyed the fireplace! Set a magical ambiance. ... was all in all a good experience!

The hotel's location is convenient and easily accessible from major roads. It is a short drive away from the local shops and restaurants, and is located right on the shoreline with a great waterfront view. Rooms come with glassware and stemware. Our room had what seemed to be laminate flooring that was beginning to warp in one area, with a few sharp edges. I was excited to see that the room had an electric fireplace on a cold day, but sadly it wouldn't turn on.
Staff was friendly, location on the beach, rooms clean and updated. perfect place to vacation and will visit again. None
if you wanted to go to the pool, it was 2 building down the street. I was traveling with my brother so we needed 2 beds, had to change rooms and pay extra. The peolpe up stairs, you could hear their every move. Maybe in the summer time it would be great
Nice room for the money, very clean, nice staff, good location The room has very poor insulation, every time someone next to us used their hot tub or whirlpool bath the whole room would vibrate. This happen on and off at different times of the evening and morning. It woke us up all the time, we will not return again.
Cheap! Friendly staff that actually speak English. Excellent location. N.A.

New furniture Balcony a little dirty
Lovely clean with wonderful breakfast and hosts. Would definitely go again. Room is a little cramped with large luggage
Location-Location,,,,,B&B Breakfast,,,,,Staff,,,,, NO!
Pretty much everything is top notch. The cozy and comfortable rooms, the location close enough to the beach and last but the not the least the hosts who make it such an enjoyable experience especially with hot breakfast every morning.! NONE
Fabulous location, and beautiful property No
